Check it out ... the crew for "Playground" is enjoying a nice dinner out with The Pussycat Dolls creator, when things get tense between Deanna and Alexis. In the footage -- a peek at episode 9 of the Hulu series -- Deanna learns her coworker hasn't been all that honest about their mutual friend, Tuil ... who Deanna has been getting cozy with.

Thanks to one truth bomb from Madison ... it comes out Alexis went out on a dinner date with Tuil ... though she says she didn't think Deanna would care since she supposedly had already lost interest in him.

Chris Brown's legal team says the $50 million lawsuit against him and Yella Beezy is a grand ol' shakedown.

According to the lawsuit, the R&B megastar spearheaded a beatdown of 4 men backstage following his Fort Worth, TX tour stop on July 20, as well as a security guard who claims he suffered injuries attempting to break up the ruckus.

Brown's attorney, Levi McCathern, tells TMZ Hip Hop ... he's suspicious about how fast the 50-page lawsuit was drummed up after the alleged brawl and claims the men who say they were beaten up were well enough to leave the venue without medical aid.

The Philadelphia Police Dept. tells TMZ Sports ... it is aware of the incident and has launched an investigation.

"We are asking the victim and anyone who may have knowledge of the incident to come forward," the PPD added.

A New York Yankees fan got so upset with a guy outside of the Pinstripes' game in Philadelphia on Tuesday night ... he unleashed a violent smack that appeared to do some serious damage.

The heated interaction all went down at some point either during or after the Yanks' 7-6 extra-innings win over the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park.

Yella Beezy has lawyered up after being looped into a $50 million lawsuit leveraged against him, Chris Brown and his entourage earlier this week ... TMZ Hip Hop has learned.

The Dallas rapper has retained the services of attorney Daryl K. Washington, who says his client is being falsely accused and everything he's being alleged against him of is without merit.

Amber Rose whooping on Joseline Hernandez is a legendary reality TV fight that's never been seen ... until now, and the brawl relates to the reignited discussion about Amber's racial identity after her starring role at the Republican National Convention.

TMZ obtained footage showing what never made it on air during season 2 of "College Hill: Celebrity Edition" -- when Amber and Joseline got into a big scuffle on the show, which BET says it censored due to violence and out of respect for HBCUs. The show was recorded on the campus of Alabama State University.

The clip doesn't have audio, but you can see Amber and Joseline jawboning -- which was shown when the show aired -- and the argument was all about Amber's race.

Chris Brown and Yella Beezy just got hit with another lawsuit -- this time from a security guard who claims he was horribly injured while breaking up the brawl that led to the first suit!

In the docs, filed Wednesday and obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Frederick R. Overpeck says he was working as a security guard at Dickies Arena in Ft. Worth on July 20, and, more specifically, was instructed to work the backstage meet-and-greet where the alleged fight took place.

Rockies pitcher Cal Quantrill got so pissed at Reese McGuire during their game Wednesday, he shaded the Red Sox catcher for his past public masturbation arrest -- and his heated words nearly incited an all-out brawl.
