Teddi Mellencamp just got hit with a brutal setback in her health battle -- docs found more tumors, just days after she gave an empowering interview where she cautiously thought she had beaten cancer.

The reality star shared the heartbreaking news on her IG Stories Tuesday from her bed ... saying she was feeling great about her progress during a recent Us Weekly interview, but just a couple days later, on March 26, doctors found 4 more small tumors on her brain during an emergency MRI.

Teddi used the moment to show just how extreme the highs and lows of her journey have been -- dropping the health update right after sharing her interview and thanking everyone for their support in calling her strong.

Val Kilmer's health had seriously deteriorated near the end of his life ... leaving him unable to get out of bed for years before his death, TMZ has learned.

Family sources tell TMZ ... Val had a lack of energy related to his cancer treatment -- and, as a result, he was bed-bound for a long time.

While he was cancer-free, we're told his body simply couldn't keep fighting at the end ... and, his body eventually shut down.

A scary scene unfolded on the tennis court in Colombia Tuesday night ... with British player Fran Jones collapsing just before a serve attempt -- resulting in her being taken away in a wheelchair.

Australian officials have confirmed a "minor crash" between a bus and a car, just after Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre claimed she had only a few days to live following an accident.

Western Australia Police haven’t confirmed if the crash is directly linked to Giuffre who is currently at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital ... but they did say there were no injuries reported in the incident, which happened in Neergabby, 12 miles north of Perth, around 3:00 PM on March 24.

The police said in a statement the bus driver reported the accident the following day, and the car involved in the crash sustained about $2,000 in damage. There were no reports of bus passengers.

Bill Murray choked up during a new TV interview, while talking about his "good" friend Bruce Willis, who is suffering from several debilitating diseases.

Murray sat down with host Andy Cohen on Monday's episode of "Watch What Happens Live," to talk mainly about the actor's long movie career, and the pair discussed one of Bill's famous flicks, "Moonrise Kingdom," which co-starred Willis.

Bill described it as "a really beautiful, lovely film," and he "got to work with and have a wonderful time with Bruce Willis," noting that BW just celebrated his 70th birthday. As you know, Willis has been dealing with frontal temporal dementia and aphasia -- two disorders that impact the brain and a person's speech -- for the past 3 years.

Virginia Giuffre, who accused the now-deceased Jeffrey Epstein of sex trafficking, has shared a troubling IG post from a hospital ... claiming docs have told her she has 4 days to live -- now down to 3 -- after an apparent car crash.

In a Sunday IG post, Giuffre shared a photo of her bruised face from her hospital bed ... asserting in the caption that she went into renal failure after a school bus crashed into her at a whopping "110km" (68 miles per hour) while she was slowing down for a turn.

Giuffre claimed her injuries were so severe that doctors gave her just days to live and transferred her to a specialist urology hospital ... but despite supposedly being at death’s door, she still managed to muster up the strength to update her IG followers.

Tragedy has hit San Diego ... a 9-year-old girl died just hours after undergoing dental surgery under general anesthesia.

The unnamed girl had surgery at Dreamtime Dentistry in Vista, California on March 18, according to NBC 7 San Diego and Fox 5 San Diego. She was moved to a recovery room, discharged, and slept during the car ride home. She continued to sleep at home ... her parents said she was unresponsive in bed when they checked on her later.

She was rushed to Rady Children’s Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The cause of Brett Gardner's son's sudden death remains a mystery ... but Costa Rican officials said Tuesday they believe food poisoning might have played a role in the tragedy.
