Lil' Kim isn’t backing down … doubling down on her wish for a monsoon to drench L.A. and put the wildfires out for good -- despite online backlash.
The rapper posted on X Thursday saying she didn’t get what all the fuss was about -- insisting a monsoon is just heavy rain, which in her mind, is exactly what L.A. needs.
Lil' Kim even backed up her take with a Google definition of a monsoon, highlighting the part about it causing a "seasonal shift in wind direction that can bring extreme wet or dry weather."

Some notoriously tough Philadelphia Eagles fans just proved they have a soft side ... they're raising some funds for Los Angeles wildfire victims -- in spite of their scheduled faceoff with the L.A. Rams on Sunday.
A spokesperson for GoFundMe tells TMZ Sports ... a group of Eagles supporters who congregate on Reddit created a charity earlier this week in an effort to assist people in need in the Rams' hometown.
The fans who helped kick things off made it clear they wanted to put the playoff matchup aside to make sure Angelenos felt supported, even from those thousands of miles away.

Dave Grohl spent his birthday putting others first, whipping up hearty meals for people affected by the L.A. wildfires and the brave firefighters battling the blazes.
Check out the clip -- Dave was stirring up a giant vat of chili Tuesday while volunteering with Feed The Streets Los Angeles, the group that's stepping up big-time to feed displaced families, inmate firefighters and other frontline workers in the wake of the recent devastation.
Feed The Streets shared an IG Story of Grohl in action, with another clip showing him pushing containers down the pavement to get those meals out to those in need.
Leonardo DiCaprio Donates $1M to Wildfire Relief Through Org
Leonardo DiCaprio is keeping up his philanthropic work, pledging $1M to support wildfire relief efforts amid the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.
The movie star made the announcement on social media on Wednesday, revealing the donation would be in conjunction with his organization Re:wild to aid both immediate needs and long-term recovery after the fires.
The org's Rapid Response Program is specially designed to address environmental disasters and emergencies. The initial aid will support the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, California Fire Foundation, World Central Kitchen, California Community Foundation, Pasadena Humane Society, and SoCal Fire Fund.

The Eagles are setting the tone for the upcoming benefit concert for Los Angeles wildfire victims with a massive first donation ... pledging over seven figures.
TMZ has learned ... the famous rock band is donating $2.5 million.
It's unclear if the huge donation means the Eagles are among the acts performing later this month at the FireAid benefit concert.

There are thousands of people who have been displaced by the raging L.A. wildfires, but add to that list dogs, cats, ducks, goats, pigs, horses, birds, fish and other creatures that are in desperate straits.
