The NFL is checking to see if Jed York's prostitution arrest has violated their conduct policy.

Commissioner Roger Goodell said at the owners' meeting in Atlanta Wednesday that the League is looking into it.

He said ... "It's being reviewed under the personal conduct policy. We'll do that and when there's something to be reported we'll talk."

Jed York was clearly taken by surprise when cops pulled him over in East Palestine, Ohio ... body cam footage from the scene shows.

Authorities released footage from the billionaire's arrest, which shows him in a New York Yankees T-shirt, gray basketball shorts, and sneakers. He's even wearing his wedding ring, though we've learned he and his wife split months before this incident.

The California Post was the first to publish the video.

While York is being handcuffed by police, he says to the officers, "Can I ask what you're doing?" York then claims he's "just driving" in the area.

A Wheat Hill Mobile Home Park resident tells TMZ ... she's fed up with police using the community for these operations ... saying cops are bringing potentially dangerous people right to their doorstep.

She says she's glad arrests are being made -- she just wants the prostitution stings moved somewhere else.

Her suggestion? Use a McDonald's, an empty parking lot ... basically anywhere kids don't live.

Jed York allegedly arranging to pay a prostitute $140 for sex in a trailer park ended up costing him $1,150 in fines after his arrest ... and it looks like the San Francisco 49ers' Chief Security Officer paid his boss' court fees.

According to online records, someone named "D Cory" paid Jed's fees after he pleaded no contest to a couple of misdemeanors in Ohio.

"D Cory" appears to be Dan Cory ... the CEO of Nickel Group, a security and risk management firm that protects San Francisco 49ers executives and team members. Dan's LinkedIn says he's the Chief Security Officer for the 49ers ... and the team announced last August it was hiring his firm.

San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York allegedly had been prostitute-probing for days before his big bust ... because police say he reached out to a prostitution ad multiple times -- and used fake names to conceal his billionaire status.

In a police report obtained by TMZ ... Jed allegedly reached out to a fake ad for a hooker a couple of times on Saturday, trying to score some company ... and then did again on Sunday morning -- which led to him being popped near a trailer park. California Post was first to report.

The Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force says Jed used the alias "Joe," asked for an address, and agreed to pay for full-service sexual activity ... before he was ultimately arrested for engaging in prostitution.

Wheat Hill Mobile Home Park posted on its Facebook page ... "I just got off the phone with the Chief of Police for East Palestine, Chief Weingart. According to the Chief, Jed York was arrested in the park because that's where he happened to pull over."

The statement goes on ... "According to him, they were not using addresses in the park as part of their sting operation. This news of this arrest in our quiet community is just as shocking to us as to the rest of you."

12:54 PM PT -- Jed York filed for divorce three months before he he was arrested ... TMZ Sports has confirmed.

10:27 AM PT -- The NFL tells TMZ Sports they're investigating the York arrest.

"We are aware of the matter which will be reviewed under the personal conduct policy," a league spokesperson said.

San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York landed in an Ohio jail Sunday ... after being arrested on suspicion of engaging in prostitution.

York was busted in East Palestine and booked into the Columbiana County Jail before posting $5,000 bond.

The case moved quickly from there ... prosecutors amended the original engaging-in-prostitution count to misdemeanor disorderly conduct before York pleaded no contest Monday.

York also pleaded no contest to possessing criminal tools -- a misdemeanor.

Crumley told cops Bateman pushed her into a corner wall, leaving her with facial contusions. She said he later told her to pack her things and leave the home.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, the alleged victim told cops the incident happened around 6 AM on June 3.

Authorities claim Rashod used an object to break the windshield and driver's side window of the alleged victim's 2021 Benz.
