Usher says he needs to take things nice and slow, so he's postponing more shows ... explaining he's dealing with a painful neck injury.

The R&B star just announced he suffered an injury to his neck earlier this week during a rehearsal for his "Past Present Future" tour.

Usher says he was hoping physical therapy and medical treatments would be enough to get him back on stage ASAP, but he says the injury isn't healing fast enough and his doctors are instructing him not to perform.

The news comes after Noah finished third in the 200m race, and then revealed he'd tested positive for Covid on Tuesday.

Team USA track superstar Noah Lyles shockingly finished with a bronze medal in the 200-meter race at the 2024 Olympics ... that is, until it was revealed he is currently battling Covid, but elected to participate in the event.

"I woke up early about 5 AM on Tuesday morning and was feeling really horrible," Noah told NBC minutes after the race.

"I knew it was more than just being sore from the 100. Woke up the doctors and we tested and unfortunately, it came up that I was positive for Covid. And my first thought was not to panic."

2:49 PM PT -- Cardi B has shared more details on the terrifying accident that left her concerned for her unborn child's safety. The rapper took to X Spaces on Thursday, where she confirmed she slipped while going down the stairs ... telling her fans she "kind of busted [her] ass."

As Cardi put it ... she heard a "pop" after the incident, which left her unable to move and screaming out for help. Cardi tried to sleep off her pain, but as the situation became worse she went to the hospital ... where she learned she tore a ligament in her pelvis and was dilated.

Per Cardi, she began having contractions "every two minutes for a whole 24 hours" ... before she was finally released and sent home on bed rest. She also has to do physical therapy.
