Brian Grazer and Ron Howard think we're absolutely crazy for even raising the question ... Would Obama take a job running a studio after he leaves office ... but if he's interested, they're hiring.

Brian and Ron appeared on "TMZ Live" Wednesday, and Brian made it clear ... the Prez is overqualified for the job.

BTW, Brian, the exec producer of "Empire," would absolutely offer Obama a role on his show, but being a Lucious hack won't cut it.

Michelle Dobyne is now known around the world as the "It's Poppin!" lady -- her epic firsthand account of a building fire went viral, and she's already going a little Hollywood.

Michelle appeared on Wednesday's "TMZ Live" to tell us how her life has changed overnight due to the viral video -- AND the 17-year-old girl who found her and got her a manager (the girl's mother).

It's a crazy story and, of course, no one can tell it the way she does. Michelle also told us she's going to appear on "Maury" next week, and she's hoping to use all this publicity to get into stand-up comedy.

As for getting displaced by the fire -- we had a little surprise for Michelle and her 3 kids. Miss this video? "Not todaaay!"

Jerry Heller has already made it clear ... "Straight Outta Compton" is defamatory, but if it gets an Oscar nod it will bring his rage to a new level.

Jerry will be on "TMZ Live" Thursday and he unloads about the flick, saying the Oscars puts the movie on a world stage so everyone will see the portrayal of him which he says is pure fiction.

Jerry says Cube, Dre and Eazy-E's widow are the ones who engineered his portrayal, and he thinks it's simply a case of African American anti-Semitism, at the very least on Cube's part and he suggests the sentiment goes beyond Cube himself.

The lawyer who represented Brendan Dassey says he messed up by allowing his client to meet with cops when he wasn't present, and the reason he was a no show is shocking.

Len Kachinsky appeared on "TMZ Live" Tuesday and had a hard time explaining why his PI strong-armed his 16-year-old client into signing a murder confession. He had an even harder time explaining why he then gave his client up to the cops.

Ken Kratz, the prosecutor who sent "Making a Murderer" defendant Steven Avery to prison for life, says if scientists develop a test showing the incriminating blood came from a vial, he should get a new trial.

Kratz appeared Monday on "TMZ Live," and we asked him about the defense argument that cops took Avery's blood from a vile and planted it at the murder scene. Kratz opened the prison door just a crack.

We also asked him about a shocking comment he made to the jury during closing arguments ... that EVEN if cops did plant evidence, there was plenty of other, legitimate evidence to convict Avery.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Apollo Nida used a precious prison phone call to go on "TMZ Live" and make the case that his children should visit him behind bars.

Nida, who's serving 8 years for money laundering and bank fraud, talks about the heartbreak of being cut off from his family, his plans for his kids and whether his marriage to Phaedra Parks will survive.

It's the first interview in "TMZ Live" history that was interrupted by a federal prison announcement.
