Convicted Tupac Shakur killer Duane "Keffe D" Davis is maintaining his innocence ahead of his sentencing, saying he didn't do "s—t" and wasn't anywhere near the murder scene.

Davis was interviewed by the Hollywood Reporter for an article published Friday after he was recently convicted of the 1996 murder of the iconic rapper during a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. At his trial, prosecutors said Davis did not pull the trigger but passed a gun to the shooter, who then pumped Tupac full of bullets.

Davis told the Hollywood Reporter ... "I’m innocent, man. They got an innocent man sitting in jail." But he vowed to be released from prison, saying he had already filed an appeal with the state court.

Diddy could still face charges in connection with Tupac Shakur's murder ... if prosecutors uncover new evidence.

Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson said Tuesday he has not completely closed the door on charging Diddy, but stressed there currently isn't enough evidence to do so.

"At this point, we don't believe we have sufficient evidence to charge anyone else with the death of Tupac Shakur," Wolfson said. "But, like any other case, if we come into more information, more evidence, we can always consider filing additional charges."

The comments come one day after a Las Vegas jury convicted Duane "Keefe D" Davis of murder in connection with Tupac’s 1996 drive by shooting.

During the trial, jurors heard recorded police interviews in which Davis claimed Diddy offered $1 million to kill Tupac and Suge Knight. Davis alleged Combs wanted to "get rid of those dudes" and had several conversations with him about killing them.

Diddy has denied any involvement in Tupac's murder. A source close to Combs previously told TMZ ... "Diddy had absolutely nothing to do with the Tupac murder. He did not pull the trigger or set it up."

Prosecutors argued Davis organized a group of Crips gang members to retaliate after Tupac and others allegedly beat up Davis' nephew, Orlando Anderson, at the MGM Grand earlier that night.

Davis was convicted of murder with the use of a deadly weapon and the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang. He faces a possible life sentence, with his sentencing scheduled for October 13.

Aubrey O'Day is using the Keffe D guilty verdict to make a pointed argument about Diddy ... saying you don't have to pull the trigger to be held responsible for a murder.

The former Danity Kane singer reacted after Duane "Keffe D" Davis was found guilty Monday of first-degree murder in Tupac Shakur's killing ... saying the verdict makes "one thing painfully clear."

Aubrey wrote that if evidence shows someone financed, ordered, encouraged or knowingly set a murder in motion, they should face accountability too -- and she made it obvious who she was talking about.

A Las Vegas jury has found Duane "Keffe D" Davis guilty of murder in the first degree in the death of Tupac Shakur.

The jury returned its verdict Monday, convicting Davis of murder with the use of a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang. The 63-year-old now faces a possible maximum sentence of life in prison ... although he has already made it clear to the judge he plans to appeal the verdict.

Prosecutors never claimed Davis fired the fatal shots during the September 1996 drive by shooting. Instead, they argued he was the "shot caller" who handed the murder weapon to the gunman, believed to have been his nephew, Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson, or another man riding in the back seat.

Closing arguments have ended in the Tupac Shakur murder trial ... and now the jury have began deliberating.

As you know, Duane "Keffe D" Davis has been charged with first-degree murder for the iconic artist's 1996 killing ... making him the only person to ever be criminally charged in Tupac's death.

Dupree testified Davis said he had nothing to do with Biggie's murder, but instead offered details about the Tupac fatal shooting ... including an allegation about Diddy.

The Las Vegas Metro PD responded to a Starbucks in the downtown area on Tuesday afternoon after the dispatch center received calls about gunfire erupting inside a business, TMZ has confirmed.
