4:08 PM PT -- Detroit PD tells TMZ Sports ... "This investigation continues to evolve, and new information has come to light that we are actively addressing."

"We take every investigation seriously, especially when new allegations and facts emerge, and we are committed to acting in a swift and transparent manner."

The statement continued ... "Once new facts are confirmed, we make the necessary changes in our decision-making process."

Detroit Lions receiver Jameson Williams narrowly escaped being arrested for carrying a concealed weapon earlier this month ... and police are now investigating why he was let off the hook.

23-year-old Williams was riding around Detroit with his brother after midnight on Oct. 8 ... when the vehicle was pulled over for a traffic violation.

During the stop, Williams' brother told cops there were two guns in the vehicle ... and one was located under the NFLer's passenger seat.

Shyne completely distanced himself from his Diddy past after the Bad Boy mogul got arrested last month ... and it was all one big phony act, according to Funkmaster Flex!!!

The Hot 97 radio vet recently admitted he's been stewing over Shyne's claims that he was the fall guy in the infamous 1999 nightclub shooting that sent him to prison for 8 years, before being deported to Belize.

Alec Baldwin just scored another victory in the "Rust" shooting case ... 'cause a judge ruled against the state's motion to reconsider the dismissal with prejudice.

The First Judicial District Court of New Mexico filed its judgment Thursday ... saying many of the arguments the prosecutors made had already been put forward and did not rise to the level needed for reconsideration of the decision.

The judge also noted that even though the state did file its papers by the August 30 deadline, it filed a motion that went far beyond the allotted page limit without asking for permission from the court to do so.

Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds was wounded during a shooting last week in Denver, the team announced on Thursday.

In a statement, the NFL franchise said Reynolds suffered "minor injuries" ... although it did not reveal any further details about the incident.

"Out of respect for the legal process," Broncos officials said, "we will defer further comment on this matter to the authorities."

Lil Xan blew his gasket and pulled a gun on a man at a gas station back in 2020 -- a costly decision because a judge just ordered the rapper to shell out a hefty fine!!!

TMZ Hip Hop obtained court docs showing the judge entered a default judgment on October 23 against Nicholas "Diego" Leanos (AKA Xan), ordering him to pay $27,823.89 in damages and other costs to Anthony Sanchez.

Polo G has been behind bars since Saturday after police claimed they found a loaded gun in his car -- and immediately arrested and hauled the "Hood Poet" off to jail!!!

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Hip Hop cops pulled over Polo for speeding in the San Fernando Valley Saturday afternoon.

After searching his vehicle, we're told LAPD officers discovered the loaded pistol, so they cuffed him and booked Polo for felony possession of a concealed weapon.

Cooper Koch's got a lot of love for the convicted murderer he played ... saying he cares for Erik Menendez -- and, meeting him in prison was a treat.

As we told you, the police report we got revealed Kristin Cavallari's ex-husband rear-ended another car Thursday night in Franklin, Tennessee -- and when officers showed up, they caught a strong whiff of booze. Police also said he had bloodshot eyes and was slurring his words.

9:09 AM PT -- We've now obtained the arrest report in which cops claim they responded to a call at around 5 PM Thursday about a White Ram that had allegedly rear-ended a car and had attempted to pay off the other driver with $2,000 so they wouldn't call the police.

When they arrived, they say they found Jay Cutler staggering around, slurring his speech and smelling of alcohol. Officers say Cutler claimed he hadn't had anything to drink before amending his statement and saying he had a little. Cops say he turned down the field sobriety tests. At that point, the officer arrested Jay.

Another officer searched his car and says he found a rifle in the backseat and a loaded Glock handgun in the center console.

His court date is set for January 2025.

7:40 AM PT -- Jay Cutler's DUI arrest started with an afternoon car accident. According to law enforcement, he allegedly rear-ended another vehicle, and when officers arrived they noticed a strong smell of booze. They also claim Cutler was slurring his words and had bloodshot eyes.

We're told he refused to take field sobriety tests, but cops took him to a hospital to get a blood sample. No word yet on what his BAC was. Cops say one of the 2 firearms in Cutler's vehicle was a loaded pistol.

Jay Cutler spent time in a Tennessee jail Thursday after he was busted for driving while intoxicated and gun possession ... TMZ has learned.

The former NFL star and ex-husband of Kristin Cavallari was arrested for DUI and 3 other offenses Thursday evening in the city of Franklin, TN. The other crimes were failure to exercise due care, violation of implied consent law, and possession of a handgun while under the influence.

Cutler was booked into the Williamson County Jail, where he posed for a scruffy mug shot -- and, as you can see, the dude doesn't look too happy. Jay posted $5,000 bond and was released later that night, according to a rep for the Franklin Police Department.

Jake E. Lee, famous for being Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist, says he's lucky to still be alive after being shot 3 times in Las Vegas ... and he says he was dodging bullets on the street.

The musician just broke his silence on Tuesday's shooting ... he says he was hit by 3 bullets and the cops found 15 shell casings at the scene, which he says means the shooter emptied their clip at him.

Jake says he was walking his dog Coco near his home when the shots rang out ... and he says he started dodging bullets ... but was hit in the forearm, foot and back.

Diddy used a TV remote to rape a woman as payback for her telling him she believed he had something to do with Tupac Shakur's murder ... at least according to a new lawsuit.

The Bad Boy founder is being sued by a woman named Ashley Parham, who claims Diddy sexually assaulted her in a gangbang-style rape after she dissed him on a FaceTime call.

According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Parham met a friend of Diddy's at a bar in February 2018, and he called Diddy on FaceTime ... but Parham says she wasn't impressed by the man's famous friend, telling Diddy to his face she thought he played a part in Pac's death.

Georgetown University's women's basketball team is catching flak for honoring a former player who was fatally shot by a police officer who she slashed with a knife.

The Hoyas' official X account posted a tribute to ex-player Sydney Wilson, mourning her "tragic loss" last month ... but now the post is drawing criticism because newly released police body cam footage shows her attacking the cop -- cutting his face -- before he shoots and kills her.

The tribute post has been on the Georgetown women's basketball team's X page since September 20. Sydney, who played for GU from 2009 to 2013, died Sept. 16 in the police shooting -- and the video of the fatal altercation was just released Monday.

1:31 PM PT -- Ozzy Osbourne tells TMZ ... “It’s been 37 years since I’ve seen Jake E. Lee, but that still doesn’t take away from the shock of hearing what happened to him today. It’s just another senseless act of gun violence. I send my thoughts to him and his beautiful daughter, Jade. I just hope he’ll be ok.”

Jake E. Lee, best known for being Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist, has been hospitalized following a shooting in Las Vegas ... TMZ has learned.

The musician's rep tells TMZ ... Jake was shot multiple times early Tuesday morning while taking his dog out for a walk in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jake is now fully conscious and doing well after the attack ... though, he's currently in an intensive care unit in a hospital in Vegas. He is expected to make a full recovery.

10/16/24 8:28 AM PT -- An Amazon rep tells TMZ ... "The behavior shown in the video is unacceptable, and the driver is no longer delivering packages on behalf of Amazon."

An Amazon delivery driver is facing scrutiny after threatening to shoot a resident and his dog in a tense exchange ... and it was all captured on the home's doorbell cam.

Check it out ... the resident, who goes by royal_robs on TikTok, eagerly greeted the deliveryman as he arrived with some highly anticipated car parts. As the resident opened the door, a dog barked loudly in the background ... prompting the driver to warn the man to not let his pooch outside.

The resident tried to assure the driver everything was all right ... noting in the caption the dog was "in the living room with [his] girlfriend" at the time.

The armed suspect who was arrested on gun charges outside Donald Trump's Coachella rally in California was happy to talk to the sheriff's deputies who busted him, but he wasn't so chatty with federal agents ... because they made him wait too long for an interview ... and now the feds don't have a motive.

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco tells TMZ ... the suspect, 49-year-old Vem Miller, had a cordial interaction Saturday with the deputies who interviewed him, and he was cooperative.

The Sheriff says deputies specifically talked to Miller about the guns he allegedly possessed, because the weapons were the reason he was arrested ... but protocol calls for federal agents to figure out the motive.
