Brad Pitt's daughter, Shiloh, apparently wants nothing to do with him -- or at the very least, nothing to do with his last name ... 'cause she's dropping his surname officially.

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt -- who just turned 18 a few days ago on May 27 -- filed paperwork requesting a legal name change ... specifically, dropping the "Pitt" from her last name and making her new name simply "Shiloh Jolie."

Mind you ... this doc was literally filed on Monday, which was on Memorial Day ... and also happens to be her 18th birthday. So, it seems this was one of the first things she wanted to do as an adult.

3:38 PM PT -- Omarosa tells TMZ ... "This verdict delivers a powerful blow to DJT, who believes that he is above the law! Donald has been Trumped by a jury of his peers."

Michael Cohen, meanwhile, tells us ... "Today is an important day for accountability and the rule of law. While it has been a difficult journey for me and my family, the truth always matters."

2:24 PM PT -- Donald Trump just addressed the media after leaving court -- and as expected, he called the verdict rigged ... continuing to insist he hadn't done anything wrong whatsoever.

Sarah Palin went running to court this week to get a legal forcefield around her to keep a guy away, who actually has a history of stalking ... tied to none other than her own daughter.

The former Alaskan governor -- and one-time presidential VP candidate -- got a temporary restraining order Wednesday in Palmer, Alaska ... where she told the judge she needed protection against somebody named Peter Paul Ferrero. There's a hearing on this matter scheduled for next month.

It's troubling news for one major reason -- namely, Ferrero has previously been charged and convicted of stalking over an encounter with Bristol Palin 10 years ago ... when she alleged he showed up at her house in Wasilla -- and wouldn't scram when she told him to.

Rhett McLaughlin just got a temporary restraining order against a man whom he claims has threatened seriously violent behavior ... including a terrorist attack on the scale of 9/11.

The comedian/YouTube personality filed the TRO request earlier this month, claiming a man named Josiah Galvin had made repeated threats against him ... with this alleged online correspondence dating back to May 6.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Rhett alleges that Galvin threatened to commit a "911 attack" and blow up Rhett's offices -- which he allegedly identified by physical address. Rhett also claims this guy threatened to kill him specifically.

The attempt by someone to foreclose on Graceland is about to become the subject of multiple criminal investigations ... TMZ has learned.

Multiple sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Graceland officials, along with people from Riley Keough's camp, were in touch with the FBI Tuesday, and we're told the agency is "interested" in conducting a criminal probe.

We're also told the would-be victims are in the process of contacting the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
