7/11 -- 11:30 AM PT -- Christina Fulton released a statement saying, "On April 28th, 2024, around 5:30 pm I received urgent messages from friends of my son, Weston Cage regarding his deteriorating mental state, urging me to come help. When I arrived to offer support and console him, he was already in the midst of a manic rage. Within minutes, I was brutally assaulted and sustained serious injuries."

She continued, "Despite my desperate pleas to the responding Police officers to detain him for a mental health evaluation, the Police officers refused my request and neglected my urgent need for my medical attention. As a mother, I am deeply saddened and concerned about Weston’s on-going mental health crisis. It is imperative that he receives the help he desperately needs."

Weston Cage kicked off his day in police custody ... arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother Christina Fulton.

Brendan DuBois, a best-selling New York Times author and former "Jeopardy!" champ, was arrested Wednesday in New Hampshire on child porn charges.

DuBois turned himself in to authorities Wednesday -- this after the Exeter Police Department executed a search warrant on his home following a joint investigation with the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce which kicked off in March.

DuBois has been hit with 6 felony Class A complaints of possession of child pornography.

9:30 AM PT -- Police just released Gary A. Miles' mug shot and the charges he's facing.

Philly PD says it's booked Miles for indecent assault, indecent exposure, open lewdness and harassment.

The Philly man accused of masturbating on a woman's leg inside a Dollar Tree store has surrendered ... after cops, and even rapper Meek Mill, launched a manhunt for him.

Beastie Boys are accusing Chili's of committing the ultimate party foul on their legacy ... using one of their songs without permission -- and it happens to be their classic hit "Sabotage" at that!!!

According to court docs obtained by TMZ Hip Hop ... surviving Beastie Boys members Michael Diamond, Adam Horovitz and the late member Adam "MCA" Yauch's widow claim Brinker, the parent company of Chili's, jacked the band's iconic, 1994 music video for a commercial.

The lawsuit alleges Chili's ran an ad on social media in November 2022, synchronizing the famous track and styling it after the Spike Jonze-directed video. The video featured three characters wearing the same conspicuous '70s-style disguises as the Beasties ... where they comically rob a Chili's restaurant of its secret ingredients.

Danny Trejo's infamous Fourth of July brawl is now with authorities as cops investigate it as a potential hate crime -- especially after the actor claimed he and his buddy were targeted because of their race.

In the suit, filed by attorney Eric M. George, Nomi says Danny invited her over to his studio in August 2016 and placed a martini glass filled with an off-white substance in front of her. She says she "sat in silence, terrified, gagging from the putrid smell coming from ... semen ejaculate."

Kevin Hart's facing a multimillion-dollar lawsuit from his former friend J.T. Jackson stemming from the infamous sex tape extortion scandal ... with Jackson saying Hart didn't use the right words in his public apology to him.

TMZ has obtained court documents from the case ... where J.T.'s claiming Hart initially made baseless allegations about his role in filming and disseminating the infamous 2017 sex tape that apparently featured the comedian hooking up with Montia Sabbag.

Jackson says the two came to a settlement agreement in 2021 where he says Hart agreed to make a public apology and help rehabilitate Jackson's public reputation.

Diddy is going to be indicted any day now ... at least according to an attorney representing one of his alleged sex trafficking victims.

After Josh struck this pedestrian in the intersection, he immediately pulled over, stopped the car, called 911 and waited until police and the ambulance arrived. Obviously, he's cooperating with the police throughout the traffic investigation. This was purely a tragic accident."

Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer is being sued for wrongful death and for allegedly being behind the wheel of a car that ran over and killed a pedestrian.

According to a new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Josh was driving a black GMC Yukon in Alhambra, CA back in March when he made a left turn and ran into a pedestrian who was using a crosswalk.

A juror in the Karen Read mistrial now confirms what the defense claimed earlier this week -- that the jury voted unanimously to acquit her on 2nd-degree murder -- and the juror told the defense team it would be "unjust" to retry her.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, the juror described the last day of the trial as a "whirlwind" and "very confusing." After the judge declared a mistrial, jurors were loaded on a bus and the jurors were wondering, "Is anyone going to know that we acquitted [Karen Read] on Count 1 and 3? No one ever asked about those counts."

As we first reported ... Read was acquitted on charges of murder and leaving the scene of an accident by a unanimous vote of 12-0 in her favor. But, the jury was deadlocked on the last charge – vehicular manslaughter – voting 9-3 in favor of a guilty verdict. For a conviction on the vehicular manslaughter charge, the jury needed to be unanimous.

8:52 AM PT -- Alec Baldwin's defense team plays the 911 emergency call for the court. Spiro highlights how the caller says the shooting was accidental and blames AD David Halls.

Grim news outta New York City -- a woman's body was found in a sleeping bag left on a sidewalk for trash pickup.

Authorities found the decomposing body wrapped in a plastic bag inside the sleeping bag, which was tied to a dolly cart -- this after they responded to reports Friday of a suspicious package with a foul smell outside a building on East 27th Street.

The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Yazmeen Williams, and cops have ruled her death a homicide ... revealing she was shot in the head.

A&E has a new lawsuit on its hands over its "Secrets of Playboy" docuseries -- a woman claims the network is exploiting old nude images of her without her consent.

According to the suit, obtained by TMZ, Jennifer Jauregui claims A&E is using footage showing her au naturel, which she claims was filmed without her consent back in the day at Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion.

In the docs, Jennifer claims she was hired as a dancer in 2001 or 2002 to work an event at the Mansion, and was filmed dancing in nothing but green body paint.

Alec Baldwin's trial for the fatal shooting on the "Rust" movie set begins Tuesday ... and cops are beefing up security out of precaution, TMZ has learned.

Denise Womack-Avila, spokeswoman for the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office, tells TMZ ... due to the actor being so high-profile, and the amount of media interest in the case, additional deputies will be working the courthouse and the surrounding area to maintain peace and safety.

She did not go into specifics about what that might look like as far as numbers -- that's a typical precaution for law enforcement, so as not to tip its hand to the media ... but it's clear AB's presence raises the stakes.

Alec Baldwin just got a huge part of the prosecution's case thrown out ... a day before his manslaughter trial kicks off.

The judge ruled prosecutors cannot introduce evidence of Baldwin's role as a producer in the film ... something that was a critical part of the State's argument that Baldwin's alleged recklessness led to the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Baldwin was an Executive Producer on the film, but there were other EPs as well who had much more of a hands-on role.
