Germany's Nicole Schott Sure, Heil Skate to 'Schindler's List' During the Olympics!!!

2/23/2018 7:32 AM PST

A German figure skater twirling to the score from "Schindler's List" -- how could she Nazi see the backlash coming?

Yup, Nicole Schott performed her long program Thursday in Pyeongchang to the song that instantly reminds people of the Holocaust ... the disdain from Winter Olympics viewers was immediate.

As one person so eloquently put it ... "ABORT ABORT ABORT!"

Schott did not. She also did not earn a medal ... though we're pretty sure that was purely based on her skating, and not her music choice.

It's worth noting ... several other skaters have used the 'Schindler's' score since the movie came out in 1993. Even Johnny Weir's done it -- but it wasn't in the Olympics, and he's not German.

Skating great Katarina Witt -- a 2 time gold medalist and German -- showed support for Schott. Witt says she too skated to the music, and adds ... 'Schindler's' director Steven Spielberg approved.

Still, if a South African skated to the "Cry Freedom" score -- or Team USA's Bradie Tennell used the "Mississippi Burning" theme ... it would feel beyond awkward.

Just sayin'.

Dennis Graham Drake's Money Is Still Plenty Long After 'God's Plan' Giveaway

2/23/2018 7:01 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Dennis Graham has ZERO concerns about Drake getting down on his luck if he keeps giving away stacks o' money by the millions ... although he's struggling to explain the "God's Plan" bonanza.

We Got Drizzy's pop outside TAO in Hollywood, and asked him about the music video that's helped push the song to the top of the charts. Dennis suggests the money didn't come out of Drake's pocket, but that's not the full story.

Fact is ... the label may have fronted the $996,631.90 for the video, but typically it would eventually recoup that money from Drake. It's basically an advance.

Dennis' description for the financial setup -- "I don't know what happened there." But he knows this ... his son's pockets are all good. It's not clear if he knows Drake told us he's planning to give away even more cash.

BTW ... how smooth is Papa Graham?

Tekashi69 San Antonio Show Is Going On Despite Gang Threats

2/22/2018 2:47 PM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Tekashi69 -- aka 6ix9ine -- isn't letting a little thing like gang threats or that huge LAX brawl, stop him from taking the stage in San Antonio ... TMZ has learned.

6ix9ine is still scheduled to perform at Bar 23 Thursday night ... according to a manager there, he is upping security due to a threat from San Antonio's Tango Orejon gang.

Purported members of the gang posted a Facebook video Sunday, telling 6ix9ine he's banned from their city and would get "f***** up" if he shows his mug.

The gang threat refers to the charges 6ix9ine pled guilty to in 2015, involving a minor. Prosecutors say he was recorded groping a nude 13-year-old girl. As the gang members put it, "Penitentiary rules are in effect."

We're told the club's main goal is to keep everyone at the venue safe, and to get 6ix9ine in and out without incident. The manager also tells us they've notified local police about the threat.

As for 6ix9ine ... he seems to be going forward with his tour, full steam. He was just in Dallas Wednesday night, and teased his performance in San Antonio.

Gang threats and airport fights be damned ... Tekashi is-a-comin'.

Atlanta Hawks' Celeb DJ to Hawks Honchos: Give Quavo a 10-Day NBA Contract!!

2/22/2018 2:30 PM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Atlanta Hawks resident DJ Big Tigger is callin' on his squad to make the biggest pickup of the NBA season -- Quavo!!

"I think we should give Quavo a 10-day (deal) -- I don't know if he can play any defense but he can get us a couple buckets," Big Tigg told TMZ Sports outside the V103 radio station in ATL.

You'd think the former BET host was joking, but let's face facts ...

-- Quavo CRUSHED the NBA All-Star celeb game, winning MVP after Eurosteppin' on fools like James Harden.

-- Quavo's one of the biggest rap stars in the world right now, especially in his home state, and the Hawks have the lowest attendance in the league.

-- The Hawks are also last in the East, so they really got nothing to lose!!

Better move fast ... the L.A. Clippers are already trying to swoop on Huncho.

Kid Ink Advice For NBA GM's DRAFT TRAE YOUNG #1

2/22/2018 11:49 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Hip-hop superstar Kid Ink has some advice for NBA GM's looking to hold on to their jobs long-term ... TAKE TRAE YOUNG AS EARLY AS YOU CAN.

We got Ink out at a party for Ethika underwear when he began raving about the record-breaking Oklahoma freshman, who Ink says is his favorite basketball player on the planet.

Ink says Young -- who's averaging 28 points and 9 assists a game (that's after a mini-slump, mind you) -- should be the first player selected cause the dude's got game ... and SWAG!

There's only one point the Ink-Young lovefest won't go to, and that's when we asked Kid if he'd be getting a tattoo (he has hundreds) of Young to show his respect for him.

"That's taking it a little too far."

We get it.

Quincy Jones My Bad for Spilling the Beans, Guys ... My Fam Had to Intervene!

2/22/2018 9:46 AM PST
Breaking News

Quincy Jones has apologized for his recent "wordvomit" interviews -- his word -- in which he revealed A LOT of dirt on Hollywood elites ... but he isn't taking any of it back.

The legendary music producer said Thursday his six daughters pulled him aside for a surprise "family intervention" due to some "silly things" he's said lately.

He goes on to say he'd recently stopped drinking (3 years ago) and makes a point that certain details he's spilled on don't paint the full picture of his intentions or experiences over his "long & crazy life." That said ... he doesn't correct the record on anything.

Quincy does, however, apologize to anyone he's bad-mouthed -- like Michael Jackson, for example -- adding that it's inexcusable to do so. He also hopes messages he relayed about racism, inequality, poverty, etc. aren't clouded by his outrageous remarks.

Quincy's caused quite a stir by saying lots of things -- some of which appeared to be true -- like Richard Pryor banging Marlon Brando, MJ hijacking "Billie Jean," Marilyn Monroe having "a chest that looked like pears" ... and allegedly "dating" Ivanka Trump.

For all that stuff ... he's sorry. But again ... not retracting anything.

Justin & Selena I Wanna Love Ya, Treat You Right When in Jamaica ...

2/22/2018 9:17 AM PST

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are answering Bob Marley's eternal question ... yes, this is definitely love.

Justin and Selena's PDA at Jeremy Bieber and Chelsey Rebelo's Jamaican wedding rose to epic levels, as you can tell from these shots of them hanging poolside this week ... after the ceremony.

It wasn't only a tropical makeout session -- JB seemed to be having a blast imitating the Old Spice guy to a tee -- hands on hips, chest out ... and swan dive into the pool.

As we reported ... the young couple has been practically inseparable since arriving for the wedding Monday in the hills of Montego Bay.

Selena and the Biebs are back stateside as of Thursday, but they've gotta look back on the trip fondly.

Aside from their own relationship ... Justin's got a new baby sis on the way, as you can see from Chelsey's belly.

Kodak Black 3 Charges Dropped from Home Raid ... Still in Jail, Though

2/22/2018 6:51 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Kodak Black and his attorneys scored a small victory in his latest legal war -- he got 3 criminal charges dropped.

The State of Florida dismissed one charge each -- for possession of a weapon or ammunition by a delinquent, grand theft of a firearm, and child neglect ... according to Kodak's attorney, Bradford Cohen.

The charges all stem from the January raid at the rapper's Florida home. You'll recall, police were alerted after he posted an IG Live video ... showing several men with guns and drugs. Kodak's young son also walked into the room. Police say they found 94.9 grams of marijuana.

Kodak's still facing other charges, including marijuana possession and possession of ammunition. He's still in jail for a probation violation.

We're told the 3 charges that were dropped were tossed because prosecutors lacked sufficient evidence to go forward.

Baby steps.

Tekashi69 Airport Brawl Triggered by Rapper Disrespecting Women

2/22/2018 1:00 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Tekashi69 would have avoided a violent beatdown Wednesday at LAX if his crew hadn't mouthed off to some female friends of two other rappers.

TMZ broke the story, Tekashi -- also known as 6ix9ine -- and his posse literally stopped traffic as the fight spilled out into the street at the busy airport.

One of the guys who attacked 6ix9ine -- Acie High (in the red jersey) -- tells us 6ix9ine has a long history of verbal abuse toward women and Acie is very clear ... he hated the guy for it.

Acie -- who's in a rap group out of Texas called Aqualeo -- says he and his partner, Priceless, were dropping some girls off at LAX when Tekashi's crew started hitting on the chicks. Acie says he and Priceless told the guys to stop, they wouldn't, so things exploded.

Acie says he always thought there would be a time when he would do a little street justice, and seems more than happy 6ix9ine and his crew pushed his buttons at the airport.

Ed Sheeran & Fiancee You Likin' The Shape of Our Engagement Rings?

2/22/2018 7:28 AM PST

Ed Sheeran is bucking tradition when it comes to who wears an engagement ring -- but it's clear who's got on the nicer bling between him and his fiancee.

Ed and his bride-to-be, Cherry Seaborn, were spotted leaving a restaurant Wednesday night in London with both of 'em rocking hardware on their ring fingers. Ed got folks all freaked out by making everyone think he'd already gotten hitched ... but he hasn't.

He addressed his silver wedding band at the 2018 BRIT Awards this week, saying his gal had made it for him and thought men should wear engagement rings, too ... adding "It's the same commitment either way."

It might be the same commitment, but it definitely ain't the same price. Ed's ring is homemade -- meanwhile, Cherry's giant diamond ring definitely looks top-shelf commercial.

Some things will probably never change ... eh, Ed.

T.I. Yes, We Need Real Gun Control ... But, At What Cost?

2/22/2018 6:38 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

T.I. says it's time for the U.S.A. to reexamine its gun laws in the wake of the Florida shooting ... but he doesn't wanna lose his right to bear arms.

We got Tip Wednesday leaving The Palm in Bev Hills, where he weighed in on the gun control debate raging in the country right now. Somewhat surprisingly, he says he's for reform.

The rapper tells us it absolutely should be more difficult for unstable people to get their hands on a firearm, and that "not being a felon isn't enough" anymore. At the same time ... he fears messing with the 2nd Amendment could lead to "enslavement" by Uncle Sam.

You gotta hear his take here, which is interesting considering T.I. himself did prison time on federal gun charges. Also, check out how he feels about banning automatics.

Prince's Heirs Worried They'll Get Zilch Estate's Burning Cash Like Crazy!!!

2/22/2018 12:30 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Prince's estate is spending a ton of cash -- at times more than $600k PER MONTH -- and dropping that kinda loot has the singer's heirs worried they'll be left with nothing when it's their turn to collect.

Sources close to Prince's heirs tell TMZ ... they're dumbfounded at how much money it costs to manage the late singer's estate. We're told at the current burn rate, heirs feel there's gonna be close to nothing when it's time to distribute the inheritance.

According to docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Comerica's monthly fee to manage the estate is $125k per month. Comerica also hired the law firm Fredrikson & Byron P.A. to rep the estate in court (i.e. Prince's label suing Roc Nation), supervise and coordinate with accountants and advise on tax-related issues. Last November alone, the law firm billed more than $440k in fees and expenses.

The spending keeps going ... F&B then hired other attorneys to deal with trademarks, oversea litigation and services on deal proposals, among other things.

Comerica, for its part, has painstakingly broken down in more than 600 pages of invoices exactly where the money's going and why it costs so much to manage the estate, which is reportedly worth around $250 mil.

Tekashi69 Talkin' Gun Control, Violence ... Before LAX Brawl

2/21/2018 4:36 PM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Tekashi69 -- also known as 6ix9ine -- was dishing on some burning issues like gun control and projections of violence in rap ... just minutes before he and his crew threw down at LAX.

We got the Brooklyn MC Wednesday at LAX prior to his epic fight -- and he had some insights into guns and how they play into hip-hop.

It's interesting -- he explains why rappers flashing pieces isn't necessarily an endorsement of violence. Speaking of which ... he got caught up in some violence soon afterward.

Tekashi also gives us his opinion on gun control before shying away from the subject altogether. In the wake of the Florida shooting ... he seems to be down with getting firearms out of the hands of children.
