DJ Quik

Wanna Smoke a Blunt With Me?

All You Have to Do Is ...

5/3/2015 12:10 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

DJ Quik TattooIs it your lifelong dream to meet DJ Quik, get free tickets to a show, and smoke a blunt with him? Well it can happen ... all you need to do is tattoo Quik's face on your leg.

That's exactly what happened to a fan named Bijon. He tells us he's been listening to Quik since he was a kid, and got the leg tat from tattoo artist Gino Genoski, hoping it would lead to an encounter with his hero.

It worked, and Quik called Bijon personally to invite him to a show, do a meet and greet, give him a signed CD ... and of course ... smoke him out.

Quik says meeting fans who love him that much pushes him to keep making music.

Tyga

Watch Me Stiff My Landlord!!!

5/2/2015 12:50 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0501-tyga-tmz-01

Tyga is a wanted man in Calabasas ... wanted by a landlord who claims the rapper owes them a fortune in back rent and is now thumbing his nose at them ... so they're threatening Kylie's BF with jail.

Tyga rented a fancy house in Calabasas back in 2010, but fell way behind. The landlord got a judgement for nearly $90k in back rent. But that's not the end of the story.

Tyga never paid the judgment, so the landlord filed legal docs to force Tyga back into court, so a lawyer could grill him on where he's keeping his assets ... assets that could be seized to satisfy the judgment.

You may recall last month, while Tyga was hawking his L.A. Gear kicks at a release party, he got served with papers ... and now we know that was to demand he show up for the hearing.

Tyga, it seems, had better things to do, because he was a no show, which pissed off the landlord. Tyga's lawyer then tried to mollify the landlord by offering to pay his lawyer bill for the hearing, which came to $1090. Tyga wrote a check ... and it bounced!

To add insult to injury, the landlord noticed that Tyga posted on his Instagram -- 5 days before the hearing -- stacks of hundred dollar bills.

So now the landlord's out for blood, demanding he pay the full judgment, plus interest, which has now swelled to $124k. And, the landlord warns, if he doesn't pay, he'll get an arrest warrant because Tyga failed to show at the hearing.

Something tells us ... it's not over.

Diddy

When in Vegas ...

Bring Extra Protection!

5/2/2015 12:30 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

Diddy Mayweather Pacquiao PartyDiddy wants to leave the fighting to the professionals this weekend in Las Vegas, so he's taking extra precautions to make sure he doesn't get into any trouble during his Mayweather/Pacquiao party.

The rap mogul is once again hosting a huge after-party for the fight at the Havana Room & Beach Club at the Tropicana -- but Diddy wants this fiesta to go smoother than his Super Bowl event ... where he got into a fight with a pissed off fan.

According to our sources, here's Diddy game plan:

-- his VIP section will be far away from normies (unlike SB weekend)
-- 20 extra security guards to watch over his VIP section
-- guards instructed to immediately toss anyone heckling Diddy

Mo money, less problems ... that's the goal, anyway.

N.W.A. Photog

Dear MTV, Express Yourself

WITHOUT Jacking My Photos

5/2/2015 12:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0501-nwa-viacom-wiki-01The guy who shot the most iconic image of N.W.A. says the same company keeps ripping off his classic work with the rap legends ... so now he's trying to take 'em down in court.

In the docs, Howard Rosenberg says at least 3 of his shots popped up on MTV.com and BET.com -- which are both owned by Viacom. It's deja vu for Rosenberg ... who points out he also sued Viacom in 2011 for the same thing, and eventually settled.

Rosenberg says his N.W.A. pics are so valuable because they were shot in 1989 -- right before Ice Cube left the group. So he says they're rare shots of the whole lineup -- Cube, Dr. DreEazy-E, DJ Yella, and MC Ren.

Howard says he already fired off a warning letter to Viacom, which deleted the images from its websites ... but they still haven't paid him a dime.

He's now asking a judge to make the media giant cough up his cash and stop using his pics once and for all.

LeAnn Rimes

Accidentally Sets Off Airplane Fire Alarm

... MY BAD!!!

5/1/2015 2:42 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
breaking news

LeAnn Rimes is lucky she's famous ... because most people would be in serious trouble if they set off the fire alarm on an airplane, but she was able to joke about it.

The country music/reality TV star was on a flight to Los Angeles, when she took a bathroom break to freshen up. As she explains it: "Leave it up to me to set off the fire alarm in the airplane bathroom w/ @theDrybar dry shampoo #purecomedy #firsttimeforeverything."

Our photog was waiting for LeAnn when she landed, and she laughed off the whole thing -- although it sounds like the flight staff wasn't as amused ... at first, anyway.

Check out how LeAnn diffused the situation, and uh ... nice hair?

B.B. King

Daughter Claims Elder Abuse

Police Called in Dispute Over Care

5/1/2015 8:33 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0501-bbking-getty-01Blues legend B.B. King's daughter believes he is being abused ... and called police Thursday to settle a dispute over whether he needed to be hospitalized.

TMZ has learned there's a huge battle over B.B.'s care -- between his daughter Patty King and his longtime manager Laverne Toney. Patty, who lives with her father in Las Vegas ... tells us she wanted to take him to the hospital because his urine was orange and he wasn't eating.

She claims Toney -- who has power of attorney over B.B. -- refused, so Patty called police. Responding officers called in paramedics, who agreed B.B. needed to be checked out by doctors.

89-year-old King was treated at the hospital -- and Patty says he suffered a minor heart attack. She also says this photo was taken during his brief stay, and she hopes the image will convince authorities something needs to be done to protect him.

Patty and her boyfriend filed a police report last November ... claiming elder abuse, and burglary. They accused Toney and her assistant of fleecing $20-$30 million from B.B., withholding his medications while on tour -- and jacking several Rolexes and a ring valued at $250k.

Police are investigating, but no charges have been filed yet.

We've reached out to Toney for comment, but so far no word back. Patty says she's meeting with her attorney to discuss wrestling power of attorney away from Toney.

Tim McGraw ... talk about country strong.

Guests at the Hotel Del Coronado near San Diego were stunned when a semi-exposed and hairless Tim put on a gun show before performing at his own show later that night.

The country star -- who turns 48 today -- credits his godly physique to the Paleo diet and CrossFit.

Country music just got even more popular.

Floyd Mayweather

NOT PAYING SUGE KNIGHT'S BAIL

... Says Money Team

4/30/2015 12:26 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0430_Floyd-Mayweather_suge_knight_TMZBad news for Suge Knight ... Floyd Mayweather will NOT be posting his $10 million bail if he wins his fight this weekend ... this according to a key member of Floyd's Money Team.

TMZ Sports just got off the phone with one of Floyd's most trusted members of his TMT crew -- who tells us Suge's lawyer was just plain wrong when he told media outlets there was a plan in place for Floyd to fork over the money.

We're told Floyd and Suge were close in the past -- but they haven't been in contact in several years.

Suge is currently locked up in L.A. on murder charges -- and his attorney Matthew Fletcher reportedly said Knight was counting on Floyd to cover his bail.

We reached out to Fletcher for comment -- who says he only made the comments because that's what he was told by Suge's family.

Scott Weiland

Butchers 'Vasoline'

Swears No Drugs Involved

4/30/2015 10:43 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

Scott Weiland is adamant he was NOT high on drugs (including heroin) during a botched performance of the STP classic, "Vasoline," this week ... but admits something was off that night.

Fans were shocked and concerned after Weiland -- who's struggled with substance abuse in the past -- belted out a flat, uninspired version of the song with a dead gaze in his eyes during a performance Tuesday in Texas with his new band The Wildabouts

We spoke with Weiland's rep who acknowledges it wasn't Scott's best work -- but says it was a "perfect storm" of Scott being tired and having a couple of drinks before the show. The rep says to make things worse, Scott's earpiece went out during the show, making it hard for him to stay on point.

The rep says, "Good news we've overnighted him a brand new pair of earbuds and they will be there for his show in Baton Rouge tonight."
