The Prime Minister of Slovakia was shot multiple times this morning while cameras rolled ... and, his condition is apparently dire.

Robert Fico -- who became PM of the Central European country for the third time last year -- went to a government meeting in the town of Handlová when someone in the crowd waiting to greet the prime minister fired off multiple gunshots.

Video from the moment of the shooting's sorta grainy -- but, you can clearly hear shots ripping through the air, and there's a rush by the PM's security to get to the alleged shooter.

Rakim Lubin -- a former college basketball player who hooped for the UConn Huskies -- has reportedly passed away. He was only 28 years old.

According to the Prestige Memorial Funeral Home, the 6-foot-8 baller -- nicknamed "Rock"' due to his physique -- reportedly died on May 12th.

The cause of Rakim's death is not known.

McDonald's is admitting that not every kid who has a Happy Meal is beaming with joy ... emphasizing this point with a major redesign to their iconic Happy Meals, for a week anyway.

The company's UK division officially removed the smile from millions of Happy Meal containers in solidarity with Mental Health Awareness Week, which runs from May 13 to May 19. They're also dropping "Happy" from their famous menu item ... calling it "The Meal."

The redesign, brought about by Leo Burnett UK and Ready 10, is meant to reflect a recent study ... which found that 48% of kids in the UK feel pressured to be happy all the time.

The government in Peru has officially changed its laws to legally classify transgender, nonbinary and intersex people as mentally ill ... and, advocacy groups are pissed.

Peru's President Dina Boluarte signed the decree into law last week, categorizing gender identities as outright mental illness ... with the country's health minister claiming it will "guarantee full coverage of medical attention for mental health" for trans people.

Despite the change, the health ministry insists the law change will not force trans individuals into conversion therapy.

Check it out -- the woman refuses to get outta the way, and instead tries to get her beach bag away from the bull. Despite others on the beach warning her to get away, she persists until the massive beast goes berserk ... charging at her and tossing her around the beach while others watch in shock.

The woman had plenty of opportunity to scoot before the attack, and you can hear someone yelling and pleading with her ... "Lady, you're playing with fire right now. Please don't do that."
