Britney Spears celebrated her 35th birthday with roughly 20 thousand people Friday night, and revamped an old 'do for the occasion.
Spears performed at KIIS FM's Jingle Ball in L.A. -- along with Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and a bunch of other huge acts -- and her double bun hairstyle made loyal fans nostalgic for that classic, often-imitated, never duplicated "school girl in pigtails" look.
Little messier these days, but still ... cue the track!
10:17 AM PST -- A witness at Delilah that night tells us Drake was not there -- and there's a private bathroom for celebs -- so even if he was, he'd never cross paths with the man claiming assault. Drake got dragged into a crappy mess after one of his bodyguards allegedly punched a man in the face because he wouldn't get his ass out of the bathroom.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... a customer filed a battery report Tuesday with the L.A. County Sheriff claiming he was assaulted at Delilah in West Hollywood.
The man told cops he was at the restaurant on Nov. 5 when security tried clearing the bathroom ... so Drake could use it in private, he claims. He says, out of nowhere, he got clocked in the face.
Based on social media pics ... the alleged victim told cops he thinks it was one of Drake's bodyguards who socked him. Cops are now investigating, but Drake is not a suspect.
We've reached out to Delilah, but haven't heard back.
Thomas Edison wasn't ok with people ripping off his ideas, but this is your chance to rip off a bunch of his old memorabilia -- if you like grossly overpriced electric relics.
Heritage Auction is hawking 5 light bulbs and a socket preserved from the 19th century. Edison Electric used the gear during lawsuits against companies he claimed were copying his bright ideas. Heritage's estimate for the lot is $10,000 ... but expect to spend much more than that conservative number if you're interested.
Not into dead light bulbs? There's also a set of keys to Edison's Menlo Park lab where he invented his first commercial light bulb. Asking price -- $6,000!
You can bid online or in person in Dallas, starting December 3.
Chris Christie seems to be making one last push for a high-ranking job in the GOP under Donald Trump ... since he personally stopped by Trump Tower.
We spotted Christie heading in for a meeting with the Prez-elect and his team Friday morning. There are reports he's interested in becoming the new RNC Chairman ... to replace Reince Priebus, who's about to become Trump's Chief of Staff.
Remember, the NJ Governor was passed over for VP, despite being one of Trump's staunchest supporters.
