Danette E. Meyers began her legal career in the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office in 1983 as a Senior Law Clerk. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, San Diego (Revelle College) in 1980 and Juris Doctorate degree from Howard University School of Lawin 1983. She is currently Deputy District Attorney at the Los Angeles County District Attorney Office.
