NFL's Bernard Pierce Pleads Guilty to DUI ... Ducks Jail Time
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bernard Pierce pled GUILTY to DUI stemming from a March arrest ... and was hit with 1 year probation ... TMZ Sports has learned.
The 25-year-old was pulled over on March 18th in Baltimore County, Maryland for speeding and during the stop, cops say the noticed he was wasted ... and arrested him for DUI, DWI and 2 speeding charges.
According to the police report, Pierce admitted to having 3 shots of Jack Daniels before he got behind the wheel.
But today, Pierce struck a plea deal with prosecutors in which he pled guilty to 1 count of DUI -- and in exchange, everything else was dropped.
Pierce was facing up to 1 year behind bars -- but instead got 1 year probation with mandatory monthly drug testing.
Pierce addressed the judge in court, according to the Baltimore Sun ... saying, "I lost it all, and now I’m trying to rebuild. If I could do it all over again, I definitely wouldn’t drink and drive."
