PETA is looking to tap Stormy Daniels for its next campaign ... and it seems like the project will take a major jab at Donald Trump, TMZ has learned.

In a letter sent to the adult film actress -- obtained by TMZ -- PETA invites SD to collaborate on its next PSA, which rails against horse racing.

The campaign is set to release ahead of the Belmont Stakes and references Stormy's past sex confession involving the 45th prez ... where she alleged Trump lasted no more than 2 minutes in bed.

A police officer in Missouri shot and killed a blind and deaf dog this week ... and while the department's saying the cop feared contracting rabies -- the community's calling BS.

Teddy -- a five-year-old, 13-pound shih tzu mix was killed in Sturgeon, Missouri after escaping his yard. The owner gave the dog some water and called the police ... who The Washington Post reports shot the dog twice within minutes of arriving.

Check out the body cam footage ... little Teddy's running around the field -- away from the officer at first before turning around and moving toward him, though not seemingly in an aggressive way.

Kabosu, the hilarious Shiba Inu dog behind the famous "doge" internet memes, is giving side-eye to God now -- she died, according to her heartbroken owner.

You've probably stumbled across Kabosu's pic online at some point -- she's that pooch giving the ultimate side-eye with a skeptical expression, which blew up big time in 2013 on Tumblr and all those online hangouts, earning itself the title "doge."

Atsuko Sato, Kabosu's owner from Sakura, Japan shared the sad news in a heartfelt blog post Friday ... writing, "She passed away peacefully, almost like she was just sleeping, while I gently stroked her."

There are 40 fewer flamingos in India after a disastrous airstrike -- the exotic birds were taken out by an Emirates airliner coming in for a landing in Mumbai, and the carcasses were scattered around the airport.

Check it out -- the woman refuses to get outta the way, and instead tries to get her beach bag away from the bull. Despite others on the beach warning her to get away, she persists until the massive beast goes berserk ... charging at her and tossing her around the beach while others watch in shock.

The woman had plenty of opportunity to scoot before the attack, and you can hear someone yelling and pleading with her ... "Lady, you're playing with fire right now. Please don't do that."

Angie Harmon is taking the deliveryman who shot and killed her dog to court -- and she's also going after the company he was working for ... claiming it was negligent.

The actress is suing Christopher Anthony Reid for what she claims was the wrongful shooting of her pup in April on her property in North Carolina -- this after she'd ordered something off of Instacart and was communicating with a woman she thought was named "Merle."

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Angie claims she wasn't talking to a lady at all ... instead, she was communicating with Reid -- whom she alleges was impersonating/passing as Merle.
