The office fish-in-the-microwave debate has sunk plenty of workplace friendships over the years ... but cod almighty, one South Carolina cop allegedly took things to a whole new depth!

According to an arrest warrant, Michael DeBiase, 46, a detective with the Myrtle Beach Police Department, has been charged with pointing and presenting a firearm at a fellow officer after a dispute allegedly sparked by someone reheating fish at the station on June 2.

Authorities say DeBiase unholstered his department-issued firearm in a briefing room and allegedly pointed it at another officer ... a reaction that was, shall we say, a little overcooked.

The case against Anna Kepner's accused killer is facing new scrutiny ... after newly unsealed court records revealed the suspect's lawyer claims the FBI has no DNA evidence directly tying him to her strangulation.

According to court testimony first highlighted by FOX 35 Orlando, investigators could not say whether any DNA was recovered from injuries on Anna's neck. An FBI agent reportedly said he was unaware of any forensic evidence directly linking Timothy Hudson -- Anna's 16-year-old stepbrother -- to her death.

The issue surfaced during questioning about the government's forensic evidence ... with investigators reportedly acknowledging they could not determine whether the person who allegedly sexually assaulted Anna was also the person who killed her.

Betty Broderick infamously killed her ex-husband and his new wife, but there was no foul play in her own recent death, TMZ has learned.

In early May, Betty died at a hospital in Chino, California, after she fell down in prison while suffering from several health issues, according to her son, Daniel Broderick.

Now, the San Bernardino County Coroner has completed its autopsy on Betty and confirmed that her death was an accident.

"How I Met Your Mother" actor Nick Pasqual is headed to prison for a long time after being sentenced for the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend, makeup artist Allie Shehorn.

A judge handed down a 32-year to life sentence Tuesday following Pasqual's conviction last month stemming from the brutal May 2024 attack.

Prosecutors said Pasqual broke into Shehorn's Sunland home during the early morning hours and stabbed her more than 20 times in the neck, chest, back, abdomen, arms, and wrists before fleeing toward the U.S.-Mexico border.

Josh Jacobs is back practicing with the Green Bay Packers ... with head coach Matt LaFleur claiming it's been "business as usual," despite the star running back's recent arrest over domestic abuse allegations.

LaFleur met with the media on Tuesday ... and confirmed the 28-year-old will participate in OTAs. Sure enough, Jacobs was then spotted warming up with his teammates minutes later.

He didn't say much else about the matter ... which is expected, as he was super tight-lipped when reporters asked about the arrest last week. LaFleur did downplay the notion that Jacobs' situation could be a distraction in the locker room.

We obtained new court docs showing Chud asked for his 2018 White Ford F250 to be turned over to him. The vehicle was taken into custody by cops after Chud's May arrest.

Chud says the seized car was not contraband or evidence in the arrest. He says the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office continuing to hold on to his car “without legal justification” is causing undue hardship to him and his fiancée, who needs the pickup to get around.

Anthony's raised a whopping $600,000 for his legal defense fund ... he's claiming he acted in self-defense when he allegedly stabbed Austin Metcalf to death at a high school track meet in Frisco, Texas. They were both 17 years old during the April 2025 altercation.

Anthony told police Metcalf got physical with him after he warned Metcalf not to touch him. Anthony allegedly pulled a knife from his bag and plunged it into Metcalf's chest. He was placed under arrest and later indicted by a grand jury for murder after Metcalf died from his injuries.

The office says authorities arrived and allegedly discovered Brandon Irizarry -- a 28-year-old man -- outside the restaurant with multiple pairs of pants pulled down.

In a newly unsealed transcript from a February hearing obtained by TMZ, prosecutors described how they say Timothy Hudson -- Anna’s 16-year-old stepbrother -- killed her … claiming he put her in a chokehold until she suffocated to death.

Prosecutor Alejandra Lopez described it as “a barbaric, intentional, thoughtful act,” saying "[w]hile she struggled to breathe for minutes, he continued to hold her neck in that manner so that she would die from lack of oxygen.”
