Everson Griffen Ex-Vikings Star Arrested ... For DWI Again
Former NFL star Everson Griffen was arrested again for DWI this week ... after officers say they initially stopped the four-time Pro Bowler for driving his Bentley at a high rate of speed.
Minnesota State Patrol tells TMZ Sports a trooper pulled over the 36-year-old defensive end for allegedly going 82 MPH in a 55 MPH zone in Minneapolis around 11:35 PM on Tuesday.
According to the criminal complaint, cops say they could smell alcohol in the vehicle -- which had two people inside -- and Griffen had "slightly watery eyes." When asked when his last drink was, he said around 1 PM.

Sean Kingston is behind bars in Southern California, an arrest that came hours after cops raided his home in Florida and arrested his mother.
The singer was arrested Thursday evening on the base of Fort Irwin -- out in the middle of California's Mojave Desert -- and cops say he will be booked into the San Bernardino County Jail.
Cops say Sean had performed a show on the base, and afterward he cooperated as the base police took him into custody on a Broward County Sheriff's Office arrest warrant for fraud and theft charges. The arrest bookends a busy day for Sean and his family with law enforcement.
Ian Ziering Biker Brawl LAPD Arrests Two Suspects
Cops have arrested two suspects allegedly involved in the biker brawl that left actor Ian Ziering seriously rattled … police have confirmed.
The LAPD shared the update Tuesday evening, saying the officers arrested Jacob Esteban Hernandez, a 20-year-old male resident of Rosemead, and Angie Teresa Guizar, a 40-year-old female resident of Los Angeles.
Hernandez was booked for felony vandalism, and Guizar was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. Authorities credited videos taken of the incident as key pieces of evidence in their investigation … noting the footage helped officers identify the suspects.
Scottie Scheffler Cop Claims Golfer Injured Him During Altercation ... Caused Swelling, Abrasions & Ripped Pants
The cop who tried to stop Scottie Scheffler from getting into the PGA Championship on Friday claims he was so injured during his encounter with the golfer ... he had to get checked out at a nearby hospital.
Louisville Metro Police Department officer Bryan Gillis made the claims in an incident report, obtained by TMZ Sports, claiming the entire altercation all started just after Scheffler had tried to avoid a large police presence that had been set up at Valhalla Golf Club to deal with a fatal car accident that had occurred just earlier in the AM.

Gillis said in the docs he stopped Scheffler's car and attempted to give him instructions on how to get around -- but Scheffler "refused to comply and accelerated forward."

According to new legal docs obtained by TMZ ... Isaiah Lee -- who makes a point of saying he identifies as bisexual and has experienced homelessness in his filing -- says he rushed the stage to tackle Dave as a protest against jokes he made during the evening.
Lee says the venue's security team brutally beat him after he tackled Chappelle, allegedly spitting on him and dislocating his elbow purposefully ... and, he claims, the team allowed Chappelle's entourage to whoop on him as well.

Brittney Griner says while she was locked away in a prison cell in Russia, she contemplated dying by suicide several times.
The WNBA superstar told ABC News' Robin Roberts in a lengthy interview that aired Wednesday night the thoughts crept into her mind just after Russian authorities threw her behind bars for packing vape cartridges in her luggage at a Moscow airport in February 2022.
"I wanted to take my life more than once in the first weeks," Griner said. "I felt like leaving here so badly."

Officers responded to the October 2023 incident ... Moorhead was in the hotel lobby, claiming to be trying to get back upstairs to the room she shared with her boyfriend.
But the employees had already deemed her an unwanted guest who was ordered to leave. It didn't help Moorhead any that she was drunk and acting abusive.

It all went down at Trabzonspor's home 3-2 defeat at the hands of Fenerbahce ... when the losing team's supporters got so upset over the Super Lig result, they started attacking the opposing players.
But Fenerbahce ended up getting two victories on the day ... 'cause players like Bright Osayi-Samuel and Michy Batshuayi put a beating on intruders -- and it was captured on video.
Batshuayi used his feet for more than footy -- kicking a fan who was approaching him.
Osayi-Samuel was also shown throwing a punch at two fans at once.
Security tried like hell to break up the brawl ... but not before even more spectators made their way to the pitch.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino released a statement on the ugly scene ... saying, "The violence witnessed after the Turkish Super Lig match between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce is absolutely unacceptable -- on or off the field, it has no place in our sport or society."
"All players have to be safe and secure to play the game which brings such joy to so many people all over the world."
He added ... "I call on the relevant authorities to ensure that this is respected at all levels and for the perpetrators of the shocking events in Trabzon to be held accountable for their actions."
Turkey's Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya also addressed the incident ... saying so far, 12 have been detained in connection to the fight.
