Kimora Lee Simmons says she felt a "little embarrassed" when she saw pics of her 21-year-old daughter kissing a 65-year-old ... especially because she feels like Aoki got played.

We caught up with the fashion mogul Thursday in NYC, and asked her all about Aoki's short-lived tryst with restaurateur, Vittorio Assaf -- she doesn't think it was ever a real relationship, and even referred to him as just a toad Aoki kissed.

KLS adds she feels her daughter was set up ... and, while she doesn't exactly come out and say what she means by that, she certainly implies the vast age difference screwed with her daughter's head.

Zayn Malik might've just thrown an unintentional dig at Gigi Hadid ... saying he's not sure he's ever fallen in love with someone -- which seems to apply to the mother of his child.

The One Direction star lifted the lid on his past relationships on an episode of the "Zach Sang Show" ... and, when asked about his definition of love, ZM says it's hard for him to answer the question -- 'cause he's not convinced he's actually ever been head over heels.

Malik goes on to say he loves his daughter with Gigi, Khai ... but, she's family and that's a very different kind of love -- so, he doesn't think he's loved outside of family members before.

3:20 PM PT -- We got PK Thursday in West Hollywood at The Henry right on the heels of the news of him and Dorit Kemsley separating -- and while we tried asking how he was feeling ... the guy wasn't in any mood to talk, beelining it for a restaurant -- this while 'RHOBH' cameras were rolling for the new season.

Check out the footage ... PK gets out of his car, and you can tell there's a production going on -- 'cause there's a ton of camera people around, and he's in the thick of it. Again, we asked how he was holding up during this hard time, but he was pretty mum on it.

BTW, PK was going into the restaurant to meet with none other than Mauricio Umansky ... whom he sat and chatted with, only to get frustrated and storm out.

Donna Kelce says she and her ex-husband, Ed Kelce, agreed to stay together 'til after their sons, Travis and Jason, got out of college ... in an effort to give the boys as good of an upbringing as possible.

Momma Kelce opened about her relationship with her former hubby on the Mother's Day edition of iHeartMedia's The Martha Stewart Podcast this week ... and at one point during the talk, she admitted she and Ed made a pact to stay together through their sons' time at the Univ. of Cincinnati.

She told Stewart that raising two boys -- specifically ones who were athletic -- would have been just too tough to do on their own ... so, "Ed and I, we worked together as a team."

Per the paperwork, obtained by TMZ, BA says he only made $16,000 last year -- something he claims is attributed to putting his career on hold for Rachel, which has hurt him. This is also why he's saying he needs alimony from RL immediately, per California guidelines.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard has already given back her wedding ring to estranged husband Ryan Anderson ... because the piece of jewelry meant quite a bit to him, TMZ has learned.

Sources close to Gypsy Rose tell TMZ … she felt it was the right thing to give back the ring -- as it was a family heirloom given to Ryan by his mom. We're told Gypsy Rose left the ring with Ryan when she made the decision to end her marriage  ... along with an apology note next to their bed on March 22.

The note read ... "I'm sorry, you and I deserve happiness."

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star's Instagram account got a noticeable refresh amid her ongoing separation from the real estate mogul .... with the reality TV star changing her name from Kyle Richards Umansky to simply Kyle Richards.

However, Kyle still identifies as a "Mrs," describing herself as a "Mom, wife, actor, author, producer, animal lover, a RHOBH, CAA" in the bio of the account. We know neither of them has filed for divorce, so, "wife" is still accurate.
