Just one day after resigning from The Athletic, Russini reportedly rescued an elderly man and his dog from a car crash in Wyckoff, NJ ... according to Page Six.

An eyewitness told the outlet she was driving on the same road when the wreck happened, and stopped to help.

Police Lt. Joseph Soto told the local Patch affiliate that a 17-year-old in a Honda Civic turned left onto Cedar Hill Avenue from Sicomac Avenue and collided with a Jeep.

Soto told the outlet the Jeep turned onto its side from the impact, trapping its 73-year-old driver and a dog in the car.

Alshon Jeffery's insurance fraud arrest apparently stems from a fender bender earlier this year ... and the ex-NFL star is confident his name will be cleared once all the details surrounding the matter come to light.

TMZ Sports has obtained a statement from the 36-year-old's Super Bowl champ's rep, Denise White ... who said her client "categorically denies the allegations."

"The underlying incident was a minor freeway fender bender, and he provided his information at the scene," the statement read.

Rueben Bain Jr. was the driver in a fatal accident in 2024, according to a new report ... as the University of Miami star prepares for the NFL Draft, where he's a near lock first-round draft pick.

Bain, now 21, was driving a 2021 Land Rover SUV with three other passengers -- Canes teammates Nyjalik Kelly and Wesley Bissainthe, and a 22-year-old woman, Destiny Betts, on March 17, 2024.

Local outlet KVVU-TV reports the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to an accident this afternoon after a pickup truck crashed into a casino downtown.

Check out the video ... you can see the vehicle perched on a pile of rubble just inside the Main Street Station Casino Brewery Hotel front doors as cops investigate the scene.

Dominiq Ponder -- a quarterback at the University of Colorado -- had double the legal limit of alcohol in his system when he was involved in a fatal car crash that took his life last month in Boulder County.

According to the medical examiner's autopsy report, obtained by TMZ Sports, Ponder's blood-alcohol content was recorded at .167 g/100 mL -- the legal limit in Colorado is 0.08.

The medical examiner also listed his cause of death as multiple blunt force injuries the 23-year-old suffered as a result of the crash.

A Louisiana festival turned into a scary situation when a driver plowed into a crowd during a Lao New Year Parade, leaving at least 15 people injured.

These shots are absolutely horrific ... in new video and pictures obtained by TMZ, Mirman's 2026 Lucid Gravity is actively burning as emergency workers are seen frantically trying to extinguish the blaze.

Firetrucks block off access to the toll, where the accident occurred, preventing the public from coming near the incinerated car.

10:40 AM PT -- Masyn Winn just shared a picture from the crash scene ... showing his black car banged up in the front.

"For everyone wondering ... I'm feeling great!" Winn said. "Car is a little banged up but nothing that can't be replaced! Big thanks to our security team and first responders for taking care of me! See yall on the field soon!"

St. Louis Cardinals player Masyn Winn was involved in a car accident hours after saving the day for his team ... with the organization announcing the shortstop was uninjured in the wreck.

The Cards released a statement on the matter ... stating 24-year-old Winn was traveling on Interstate 64 and Highway 40 when wet pavement caused him to crash.

The team said Winn was alone in the vehicle at the time of the accident ... and local authorities responded to the scene, as well as Cardinals staffers and security.
