Texas Junior High Beatdown Prosecutors Weighing Criminal Charges For Attacker

Prosecutors in Texas are considering criminal charges against the punk who beat the crap out of a fellow student at a junior high school ... TMZ has learned.

The attack happened Friday morning at Hardwood Junior High in Bedford, Texas and viral video shows a student repeatedly punching his peer in the head as he kneels on top of his victim ... finishing off the beatdown, as he's pulled to his feet, with a kick to the other kid's face.

Bedford Police Chief Bobby LaPenna tells TMZ ... the student who allegedly committed the assault was "detained" by police and the case will be referred to the Tarrant County Juvenile Justice Center.

Robert Kardashian's signed and inscribed Bible which was gifted to O.J. Simpson as a token of friendship that Kim Kardashian wanted to pay $15K for has sold at auction for a whopping amount of money ... TMZ has confirmed.

Malcolm LaVergne, the special administrator of O.J.'s estate, tells TMZ ... the Bible of the former lawyer sold at auction for $80,276. He says he doesn't know who the lucky buyer is but notes that whether you loved O.J. or hated him it's clear "his legacy endures."

The estate's auction brought in an estimated $300K in sales. Other items that sold included a personally signed and framed photo of O.J. and former President Bill Clinton which went for over $18K. Also sold was a replica of O.J.'s 1968 Heisman Trophy for $42,700.

4:05 PM PT -- Paul's attorney Bobby Samini is doubling down on his client's comments ... telling TMZ the charges against him are totally false.

Samini says, "Mr. Rodriguez was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over by the Burbank Police Department last night. He fully cooperated with law enforcement at all times. Law enforcement asserted that the driver of the vehicle was in possession of a controlled substance. Mr. Rodriguez did not have any controlled substance in his possession, nor was he under the influence of any controlled substance.

"Mr. Rodriguez’s arrest and treatment constituted a violation of his civil rights. We look forward to establishing Mr. Rodriguez’s innocence in a court of law."

Paul Rodriguez was recently arrested for alleged possession of narcotics in Burbank ... but the comedian tells TMZ the drugs weren't his -- and he's leveling some serious allegations against police.

We broke the story that Paul was arrested Friday when the car he was in was pulled over for a traffic violation, at which time cops allegedly found narcotics. Paul was arrested for misdemeanor possession.

But the comedian tells TMZ that not only were the drugs not his ... he feels one of the officers overstepped during the arrest -- and it may have been racially motivated.

From what he says ... the car was Paul's, but he was asleep in the passenger seat when it was pulled over -- which is when the "Caucasian" officer allegedly slapped Paul to wake him up ... 'cause he was on a "power trip."

'Love & Marriage: Huntsville' Marsau Scott Arrested For Alleged Speeding, Warrant

Marsau Scott was arrested in Alabama ... but it seems the charges were minor, and he's already out of jail.

The "Love & Marriage: Huntsville" star was popped Friday night in Madison County ... and according to jail records, he was allegedly speeding and had a failure to appear warrant in the system.

Details are not clear at this time ... but we do know that Marsau was not in custody long, as the records show he paid the $300 bond shortly after being arrested.

Resorts World casino in Las Vegas just got hit with a bad beat ... as the venue was fined $10.5 million in connection to a money laundering case involving a bookmaker who took thousands of bets for Shohei Ohtani's former interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board dropped the news on Friday ... saying  the two sides entered into a settlement over the "unsuitable methods of operation primarily resulting from activities at the licensed property by illegal bookmakers Matthew Bowyer and Damien LeForbes."

Along with the fine ... the Vegas location will be making changes to its executive leadership and implementing stricter protocols to prevent money laundering, but it will not have to admit or deny any of the allegations made against it.

Ex-Soccer Star Dani Alves Rape Conviction Overturned

Former Brazilian soccer star Dani Alves has won an appeal of his sexual assault conviction ... with a Spanish Court overturning the ruling this week.

Alves -- who spent 14 months behind bars as part of the case -- was found guilty back in February 2024 after he was accused of raping a woman at a Spanish nightclub in December 2022 ... and was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison.

Alves denied the allegation during the trial ... claiming their interaction was consensual.

Chilling body cam video shows the arrest of a mother who police say called 911 on herself after she allegedly stabbed her 11-year-old son to death during a stay at a Santa Ana, California motel for a trip to Disneyland.

Check out the clip ... Saritha Ramaraju, 48, calmly approaches officers -- who have their guns drawn -- while holding a phone to her ear. As she's cuffed, an officer can be heard announcing there's "blood on her hands."

She confirms to Santa Ana cops during the March 19 arrest, around 9 AM, that her son is the only one in their room at the La Quinta Inn ... and they go to check on him. Police say he was found dead with apparent stab wounds, reportedly surrounded by Disneyland souvenirs. A large kitchen knife purchased the day prior was reportedly also found at the scene.

Yella Beezy is back on the streets ... 'cause he made bail in the Texas murder case against him after his bond was reduced.

The rapper was released from custody Friday morning after posting a $750K bond ... about a week after he was arrested for allegedly intentionally and knowingly causing the death of Melvin Noble, AKA Mo3, who was shot to death in broad daylight on a Dallas highway in 2020.

While YB's bail was initially set at $2 million, a Texas judge lowered it Thursday at a bond reduction hearing.

Alleged Gangbang Teacher Faces Avalanche of Sex Charges ... Could Result in Decades Behind Bars

The Indiana former teacher who allegedly participated in a gangbang with several underage kids wearing "Scream" masks is facing a smorgasbord of new charges that could land her in prison for many decades if she's convicted.

In court documents, Morgan County prosecutors say they've added charges related to five more alleged victims ... bringing the total number to six who have accused Brittany Fortinberry of a slew of sex crimes.

Prosecutors tell us they're planning to hit Fortinberry with 24 additional felonies, putting the grand total at 29, including five Level 1 child molestation counts. On Thursday, the county prosecutor, Steven P. Sonnega, told TMZ ... Fortinberry will be advised of the new charges and potential penalties at a court hearing on April 3.
