Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has an enthusiast vocal ally in her corner amid the backlash over her response to the wildfires -- and it’s none other than the mayor of Inglewood, a city that adjoins L.A.

We caught up with James T. Butts, and he blasted Bass' critics as "misguided" -- and even went on to praise her as one of the most conscientious, confident elected officials he's ever seen.

The accusations against Diddy keep stacking up -- he's now facing another sexual assault lawsuit by a Jane Doe who says she was underage when the alleged assault occurred.

In legal docs obtained by TMZ -- an unnamed woman has come forward and is suing Diddy and two John Does who she claims were with him.

The woman claims in 2000, when she was 16, she ran into Diddy and two men, who apparently worked for him, in an SUV after leaving a babysitting job in Manhattan. She says they offered her a ride home, and after much pressure from Diddy, she eventually agreed.

Spencer Pratt literally fled his Pacific Palisades home before it burned down with just the shirt on his back ... which is evident from the new video obtained by TMZ.

Spencer and his wife Heidi were at Marshall's in Santa Barbara Sunday, wearing the same shirt he was wearing last Tuesday when the massive fire erupted in his neighborhood, torching the family house he shares with his wife, Heidi Montag, and their 2 kids.

Spencer and Heidi lost everything in the fire, and he's already moving to rebuild their lives. He's trying to get Hulu to do a show with his family, which will help with the enormous cost of rebuilding and restoring.

Claressa Shields is raving about the new biopic, "The Fire Inside," chronicling the boxing star's rough-and-tumble upbringing in Michigan ... a "surreal" film "T-Rex" says will positively impact countless people!

"I just believe it's very inspiring," Shields told TMZ Sports. "I've seen my movie now nine times and to see Ryan Destiny portray me as well as she did. I know that 'The Fire Inside' is going to change lives. [Ryan] did such a great job."

The movie, which dropped on Christmas, tells Shields' story as a young female fighter in Flint  -- overcoming challenges such as sexual abuse, abandonment, and poverty -- to the Olympic podium, where she made history as the first American woman to win gold in boxing.
