Good news for Stuart "Syko Stu" Smith on the medical front ... the pro wrestler is conscious and communicating from his hospital bed, according to Douglas Malo, the man who came to the rescue and stopped Raja Jackson during the brutal attack.

"[Stu] remembers mostly what happened during the early parts of the day. He's talking a little bit. He's alert. He's still got some injuries that are very serious. Not, like, life-threatening serious, but, facial injuries, stuff like that," Malo told TMZ Sports.

Smith has been hospitalized since the violent and ugly incident on Saturday ... which could've been significantly worse if Malo hadn't stepped in and stopped Raja's attack.

If Shaquille O'Neal and Charlie Mack do end up throwing hands in a celebrity boxing match later this year ... none other than Roy Jones Jr. has called dibs on refereeing it!!

The legendary pugilist said in a video statement to TMZ Sports this week he'll don the zebra stripes if and when Shaq and Mack lace up the gloves.

"If that jumps off," he told us, "I'ma definitely be the referee. Without question."

A couple air traffic controllers came to blows on the job at Reagan National Airport ... and one of the guy's lawyers tells us the fight boiled down to President Trump's disdain for DEI hiring policies.

Damon Gaines is facing misdemeanor assault and battery charges for the March 2025 fight inside the air traffic control tower at DCA ... and he's going in front of a judge tomorrow to learn his fate.

Gaines' lawyer, Robert Jenkins, tells TMZ ... the coworker his client brawled with was commenting on Trump's anti-DEI crusade and Gaines took offense to some of the comments, leading to a dustup on the tower floor ... right in front of the control screens.

8/26/2025 10:56 AM PT -- A rep for the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office tells TMZ ... police received a report of a battery and responded to the incident late Monday afternoon. Cops say two men who were aboard the flight got into a heated argument, which soon escalated into a fight after the plane had landed.

But, by the time deputies arrived on scene, one of the combatants had already fled and the other guy refused to press charges. So, no one got arrested.

A fight broke out on an American Airlines jet while passengers were trying to get off and make connections ... and it's all on video.

TMZ obtained footage of a violent brawl on an AA flight that landed in Miami ... and the video picks up with a man and a woman getting physical.

The man and woman put their hands on each other, the other male passenger rushes over to separate the two ... and then the guy shoves them into empty rows of seats and tells them to back off.

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson says he's been the target of death threats after his son was involved in a violent incident with a pro wrestler over the weekend ... and he's making it clear, he wants the messages to stop.

The UFC legend briefly addressed Raja Jackson's altercation with Syko Stu while he was leaving LAX on Monday night ... and he stated the inboxes on his social media pages have been a cesspool since late Saturday.

"There's a lot of racist people giving me death threats and stuff like that," Rampage told Joy Of Everything.

Eyebrow-raising take from Mark Henry ... the WWE legend tells TMZ Sports Syko Stu deserves at least a portion of the blame for that ugly incident that went down with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson's son over the weekend.

Henry says the veteran wrestler -- real name Stuart Smith -- should not have rattled Raja Jackson's cage by hitting him with a beer can just before the KnokX Pro event got underway on Saturday in Los Angeles.

Henry explained as a more experienced entertainer, Syko Stu should have been more mindful when interacting in that kind of fashion with someone who's so obviously new to the wrestling world.

The wrestler who was brutally beaten up by Quinton "Rampage" Jackson's son in a ring over the weekend is, thankfully, doing better.

According to Syko Stu's brother, the performer is "conscious" and "currently resting" -- less than two days after he was thoroughly throttled by Raja Jackson.

Syko Stu "does have some recollection of events from the day of the attack," Andrew Smith said of his bro, whose real name is Stuart Smith. "Thank you everyone for reaching out, it's been difficult to get back to everyone individually. We will be setting up something for anyone wishing to donate. I will update with a link when possible."

Raja Jackson, the son of former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, is in the crosshairs of the LAPD ... after brutally attacking an unconscious wrestling opponent.

The LAPD tells TMZ ... cops were called to the wrestling event Saturday night and took a police report ... and now the incident is being investigated.

As we reported ... video shows Raja pummeling his KO'd competitor, Syko Stu, at a private wrestling event at KnokX Pro Academy in Los Angeles.

The organizers behind the wrestling match that saw Quinton "Rampage" Jackson's son Raja brutally pound his unconscious opponent, Syko Stu, have condemned his actions as a "selfish, irresponsible act of violence."

The Los Angeles-based wrestling company, KnokX Pro Entertainment & Academy, tore Raja to shreds in a social media post Sunday, adding ... "This egregious act is reprehensible and never should have occurred."

They went on ... "In the 17 years of operation of KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy, there has never been anything as heinous take place such as this and we apologize to our patrons and fans."

Raja Jackson, the son of former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, went beast mode during a match Saturday night ... violently attacking his competitor with blows to the head despite him already being knocked out.

The disturbing footage from the event's Kick livestream shows the victim -- Stuart Smith, whose ring name is Syko Stu -- being slammed to the ground ... a move that seemingly knocked him out cold. Raja then mounts his unresponsive body, delivering hit after hit until he's pulled off.

The incident occurred at a private wrestling event by KnokX Pro Academy in Los Angeles, and according to wrestling reporter Sean Ross, Syko ended up in the hospital.

The wild Carnival Cruise all-out brawl -- supposedly over chicken tenders -- had a happy ending of sorts ... TMZ has learned that nobody involved was arrested!

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Miami-Dade Sheriff’s deputies were called to the crazy scene Monday after the ship pulled into port on the cruise’s final day.

The deputies conducted an investigation, interviewing Carnival staff ... but, in the end, they determined arrests were not warranted because no one filed a complaint.

In addition, the investigation revealed the ship's security stepped in, broke up the fight and made sure things didn’t get any crazier.

Jake Paul says either his or Gervonta "Tank" Davis' lights are going out on Nov. 14 ... guaranteeing their upcoming fight ends in a knockout.

El Gallo opened up on his new matchup in a YouTube video on Friday ... and while the bout is widely believed to be an exhibition, he made it clear it's not stopping anyone from going 100 percent.

The man cops say went viral for knocking out a woman during a Rüfüs Du Sol concert is getting the book thrown at him -- he's been arrested on felony charges, TMZ has learned.

Pasadena PD tells TMZ ... Julio Cesar Lopez Zavala was arrested Thursday and booked for felony battery with great bodily injury, felony assault with great bodily injury and misdemeanor battery ... all for the vicious brawl that went down last week at the Rose Bowl concert.

You'll recall, a man -- who cops say is Zavala -- was recorded beating a woman unconscious on August 16 ... as Rüfüs Du Sol had everyone else in the stadium enjoying the beat.

Carnival Cruise passengers were caught trading punches in an absolutely wild brawl ... and apparently, chicken tenders might've played a role in it.

The fight went down in the early hours of Monday morning, as the ship was en route to Miami on the final day of the cruise.

Check out the video ... a large group is seen throwing haymakers at each other, with some hitting the floor and others getting wrapped in headlocks.

2:26 PM PT -- A rep for the Lincoln PD tells TMZ ... The school's resource officer responded to the fight and witnessed the student assaulting the staff member. The officer restrained the student, who was then placed under arrest and later booked into juvenile hall.

A high school in Northern California turned into a WWE Smackdown! earlier this week ... when a freshman class meeting ended with a staff member violently slamming a disruptive student to the ground.

The incident went down at Lincoln High School in Lincoln, California -- about 30 miles north of Sacramento -- on Tuesday ... and, video currently blowing up on the internet shows a student and teacher getting into a pretty intense verbal argument in the gym.

The teacher appears to try to direct the student out of the gym ... and, a couple of times, he places a hand lightly on the student's arm to direct him into a hallway.

11:00 AM PT -- Jake Paul is officially going up against Gervonta Davis on Friday, November 14 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA ... which will be streamed globally on Netflix.

Paul posted about it all ... saying, "Size vs Speed, Power vs Precision, One will rise and one will fall."

10:11 AM PT -- TMZ Sports is told the fight is, in fact, happening ... though the date, location and other details surrounding the event have not been confirmed.

The Jake Paul critics want him to take on a real challenge ... how does Gervonta Davis sound??

The news apparently broke via a since-deleted post from Netflix's official Turkey account on Wednesday ... which stated Jake and Tank would duke it out at State Farm Arena on November 15 -- and featured a flyer promoting the event.

The bout is reported to be an exhibition ... after all, there is a massive height and weight difference between the two pugilists -- and officials wouldn't ever sign off on making a mismatch like that official.
