Tom Brady is coming to Florida's aid after Hurricane Milton slammed the Gulf Coast ... by donating $100K to the victims who desperately need essentials in the wake of the devastating storm.

The seven-time Super Bowl champ -- who played three seasons in Tampa Bay and won a Super Bowl -- announced his contribution on Thursday, a day after Milton made landfall in the Sunshine State.

"In the wake of Hurricane Milton, I'll be making a donation of $100k to help get essentials like food, water and first aid to fellow Floridians in need," Brady said.

Jayden Daniels has won over the Commanders' fan base with his play so far this year ... and clearly one of the franchise's all-time best players, too -- as Brian Mitchell tells TMZ Sports he's wildly impressed with Washington's new star rookie.

Through five games, Daniels has the Commanders at 4-1 and atop the NFC East ... and Mitchell says it's now apparent to him, the 23-year-old signal-caller's potential is enormous.

Colbie Young -- a member of the University of Georgia football team -- was arrested early Tuesday morning on misdemeanor charges of battery and assault of an unborn child.

According to the incident report -- obtained by TMZ Sports -- Young's 20-year-old ex-girlfriend stated she went to his apartment in Athens around midnight so they could discuss their relationship.
