Hayden Panettiere was "struggling" and "really lonely" on what turned out to be the final movie she ever filmed ... so says her "Sleepwalker" costar, Justin Chatwin.

Justin opened up about their connection while speaking to People ... saying they grew close while filming in 2025 because she was so real with him. He explained, "[Actors are] trained to be on, and I really liked spending time with her because she took that off, and she was authentic with me about her life and she opened up about her struggles with addiction."

The Canadian actor originally met Hayden while she was starring on "Heroes" in the mid-2000s, and then reconnected for "Sleepwalker," a psychological thriller about domestic abuse -- something Hayden had been through.

Justin told People he "could tell she was struggling," adding ... "I was like, 'I don't think it's this movie' ... There's a handful of women that I've worked with that I really liked, and I really loved working with her, but I also know that she was really lonely."

Paris Jackson says she underwent electroconvulsive therapy after trying to end her own life ... and she remembers it as an incredibly painful experience.

Michael Jackson's daughter opened up about her mental health treatment during an episode of the "On Purpose with Jay Shetty" podcast published Monday ... she says the first few sessions really hurt because the medical professionals were trying to figure out the proper amount of painkillers to give her afterwards.

Perez Hilton is still in the hospital nearly two weeks after his frightening live stream ... his family announced -- and his site is set to return to regularly scheduled programming.

In an update on Perez's celebrity gossip website, his family tells fans that he is still in the hospital after the August 4 TikTok Live -- but they specify that he is in an inpatient setting getting the care he needs from both physicians and mental health professionals.

Inpatient mental health care can sometimes indicate a longer stay where patients remain hospitalized for extended periods of time while they recuperate -- while we don't know if this is the case for Perez, we do know his team will resume uploading celeb stories to his site.

Dolly Parton was forced to miss a major event at her beloved Dollywood theme park this week after her doctor advised her to stay in Nashville amid ongoing health issues.

The 80-year-old country icon was scheduled to appear in person Friday for the opening of Dollywood’s new roller coaster, NightFlight Expedition ... however, Dolly ended up joining the celebration virtually last-minute.

Dolly -- who appeared on screen wearing fairy wings -- joked that her Nashville doctor had "clipped my wings" and told her she shouldn’t travel this week ... adding she wanted to keep fans informed about what she’s going through.

Perez Hilton was treated for an overdose following an alarming TikTok live stream earlier this month, according to a Miami-Dade County Sheriff's Office incident report, obtained by TMZ.

As we reported, the internet personality -- legal name Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr. -- was taken to a Miami-area hospital on August 4, after authorities responded to reports of a possible suicide attempt at his home.

According to the police report, fire rescue personnel treated Perez at the scene for multiple injuries and an overdose before he was transported to the hospital.

Earth, Wind & Fire drummer John Paris briefly woke from an induced coma and asked to leave the hospital ... but doctors were forced to sedate him again after his blood pressure rose and he struggled to breathe.

Doctors placed Paris in an induced coma after he arrived at the hospital from his medical emergency last week so they could provide critical care ... according to an update from a Facebook page created by Verdine White's wife, Shelly.

At one point, Paris opened his eyes, looked around, and asked for his wife, musician Kathy Merrick. Once he saw her, he turned to a close friend named Eddie and joked, "Get me outta here."

The emotional breakthrough brought tears, laughter, and renewed hope to those at his bedside ... but it was short-lived.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Perez's three kids are old enough to understand his mental health challenges, which had been explained to them before last week's crisis.

We're told the children have been in the house during previous emotional moments when Perez went live on social media and opened up to his followers about his struggles.

So, while last week's incident was far more serious, seeing their father become emotional online was not entirely new to them.

And, Perez is on board with it -- TMZ has obtained the consent form he signed to hand over Teresita temporary custodial rights over his kiddos. This includes consent to allow her to make all necessary and reasonable medical and dental care decisions for the children, obtain copies of their records such as birth certificates, enroll them in school, and more.
