Diddy has a new defender in Hollywood -- and that would be Jason Derulo ... who says the guy shouldn't be persecuted by the public until all the facts are in, and they're just not yet.

We talked to the singer Tuesday in NYC while he was out and about, and our photog asked JD head on ... should innocent until proven guilty apply here for Puff???? Considering Diddy actually helped Jason break into the industry way back when ... his answer is telling.

Jason says he agrees with the old adage ... and that Diddy should be afforded that grace until more evidence surfaces, if any does at all, that implicates him in something nefarious.

Ashley McGuire's the woman who went viral by asking Internet sleuths to locate her missing husband -- and now that she's found him, she's ending their marriage ... TMZ has learned.

Ashley tells TMZ ... she received a text from her estranged husband Charles after her Facebook plea blew up online. She says Charles, who also goes by Charlie, said he is willing to sit down and talk, after allegedly walking out on her and their kids last year.

Ashley has since taken down her viral Facebook post, explaining she no longer needs it up since she has Charles' new address -- courtesy of an online follower who tracked it down for her.

Frankie Valli's son is accusing his other son of breaking into their father's home and threatening to harm both of them ... and now, he wants court-ordered protection for both and his famous father.

The singer's 29-year-old son Emilio just filed for a temporary restraining order in Los Angeles against his 36-year-old brother Francesco -- claiming his older sibling attempted to bust into Frankie's property last week ... only to go on and allegedly hurl threats at them.

Per the docs, obtained by TMZ, Emilio claims he and Frankie have been having this issue with Francesco for months -- explaining their dad provides financial support for his boy ... even though Emilio alleges drug abuse against his bro, and says he's gotten desperate lately.

Jay Leno has officially been named the conservator for his wife, Mavis, amid her battle with dementia ... TMZ has confirmed.

The former 'Tonight Show' host was granted the conservatorship of his longtime spouse in a hearing in Los Angeles on Tuesday, where -- according to People -- Mavis' lawyer spoke in favor of Jay taking on the official role of looking out for his wife's best interests.

A judge also reportedly praised the 73-year-old comedian for the care he has provided Mavis, who Jay married in November 1980.

T'Vondre Sweat is fortunate to have been able to walk out of jail this weekend under his own power ... because cops say the top NFL draft prospect was involved in a rollover car crash just hours before he was thrown behind bars.

New Austin Police Department documents we obtained state that Sweat's 2023 orange Ford Bronco flipped on its side after it collided with a 2020 blue Dodge sports car on a Texas highway at around 4:41 AM on Sunday.

In the docs, cops state the Dodge hit the Bronco from behind, causing it to lose control, roll over, and eventually come to a stop on its right side.

Ja Morant is one step closer to winning a lawsuit against the teenager who he punched during an altercation in a pickup basketball game two years ago ... a judge just ruled the NBA superstar was acting in self-defense when he hit the minor.

Joshua Holloway, who was 17 years old at the time of the incident, sued Morant back in Sept. 2022, alleging the Grizzlies point guard roughed him up while the two were competing on a basketball court at Ja's Eads, Tenn. home.

Holloway claimed that during an in-game argument, he threw a ball at Morant and accidentally hit him in the face. He alleged Morant then became enraged, and socked him with a closed fist.

Julio Urias has been hit with multiple criminal charges over allegations he roughed up his wife during a soccer match last year ... TMZ Sports has learned.

A spokesperson for the L.A. City Attorney's office tells us ... prosecutors formally hit Urias with five misdemeanors on Monday.

The ex-Dodgers star is facing one count of spousal battery, two counts of domestic battery involving dating relationship, one count of false imprisonment and one count of assault. His arraignment is scheduled for early May.
