James Wehr's crash victim, Lexi Kramer, will be honored at a memorial in Florida next month.

Lexi's sister, Gracie, shared the details on Instagram Friday ... announcing a celebration of life for October 9 in Lakeland, Florida.

Gracie says the event will be a chance for Lexi's loved ones to celebrate her life and cherish their memories. She adds that all of Lexi's friends and family are welcome ... but asks the media to stay away out of respect for everyone who is grieving.

The first photos of the baby at the center of the legal drama between the biological parents and surrogate McKenna West have been released ... and they are tough to look at.

TMZ obtained two photos of the newborn from his biological parents, Omar Ahmed and Nausheen Gilkar, and the images show a long scar down the middle of his chest from emergency heart surgery.

The child, who Omar and Nausheen call Rumi, is hooked up to all sorts of tubes and machines monitoring his health. It's a lot to take in.

The parents of the baby at the center of McKenna West's surrogacy battle are pushing back on her latest Supreme Court move ... saying the emergency relief she's seeking could put their son's health at risk.

Attorneys for Nausheen Gilkar and Omar Ahmed filed a response with the U.S. Supreme Court, obtained by TMZ, opposing McKenna's latest attempt to challenge the California ruling naming them the legal parents of baby Rumi.

Their lawyers say pausing the parentage ruling could create confusion over who gets to make medical decisions for Rumi ... potentially disrupting his treatment.

A woman from Missouri who allegedly threatened to kill Austin Metcalf's father has been indicted ... federal authorities announced.

Sharifa Nicole Henderson has been indicted on 3 counts of sending threats to injure after authorities say she sent some pretty terrifying messages to Jeff Metcalf.

According to the indictment, Sharifa allegedly sent multiple threatening messages back in June ... including one which reads, "I will hunt you forever until I kill you ... I will be there. You will always have to look over your [expletive] shoulder."

2:40 PM PT -- Jeremy Saland, who represents Scott Kretzschmar, one of the defendants, tells TMZ ... "We wholeheartedly deny the allegations in the complaint ... we possess documents that thoroughly corroborate our position, including the plaintiff's own words, statements from other parties, and scientific evidence demonstrating that the claims against him are false."

Saland adds ... "Our system of justice allows anyone to make a complaint, criminal or otherwise, even a wrongful one. However, it is lost on no one that the criminal investigation led to no charges against Scott even if the plaintiff for some odd reason states she believed the investigation remains open nearly two years later. Simply, the evidence against him, or, more accurately, lack thereof, didn't even muster up to the nominal standard of probable cause because the allegations against him as described did not happen. Simply, there was absolutely no criminality on Scott's part. He is completely innocent. Period."

Seven members of Cornell's Chi Phi fraternity sexually assaulted a 20-year-old student after drugging her with ketamine ... and sent each other disturbing text messages to join in the gang rape ... at least according to a new lawsuit.

The suit, filed this week in Manhattan Supreme Court, alleges a Jane Doe under the age of 21 was served alcohol at a local bar before stumbling alone to the Chi Phi frat house to hang out with one of her sorority sisters.

Inside the Chi Phi frat house, she says frat brothers Matthew Ingalls and Johnathan Newell pressured her into snorting ketamine before beginning to sexually assault her.

Converse has apologized and pulled a controversial ad after critics compared the imagery to the Ku Klux Klan and lynching.

The ad, part of Converse's global Chuck 70 X campaign featuring K-pop star Karina, showed her holding a pair of black sneakers. The lighting and positioning made it look like the black shoes were dangling beneath a large, pointed piece of white fabric that some folks said looked like a Klan hood.

The image quickly sparked outrage online, with critics saying the hanging shoes evoke lynching imagery.

1:55 PM PT -- An official with the Department of War tells TMZ ... "On any given day, the U.S. military monitors, assesses, and analyzes hundreds of potential threats around the world to ensure the defense of our nation and our allies. Out of operational security and as a matter of policy, we do not comment on specific intelligence reports, alleged operational planning, or ongoing military assessments."

The statement continues, "The Department of War remains committed to the rigorous verification of all intelligence inputs and the responsible integration of emerging technologies to support our service members in making informed, precise, and safe decisions in any operational environment."

The United States military almost started a war with China based on a faulty intelligence report ... which turned out to be completely bogus because A.I. screwed up big time.

Here's the deal ... according to a new report from CNN, an intelligence report claiming a Chinese ship in the Middle East was carrying the components to build a nuclear weapon began to circulate earlier this year amid the ongoing tensions with Iran.

Military planes took to the air and armed military personnel were ready to board the ship ... when someone took a closer look at the report and realized a huge mistake had been made.

"American Idol" alum Caleb Flynn allegedly wasn't subtle about wanting his wife dead ... prosecutors say he texted his mistress about wanting to kill his wife and get away with it.

Caleb is standing trial on charges he murdered his wife ... and during opening statements Friday, prosecutors said investigators found more than 100,000 messages between Caleb and his mistress from the year before his wife Ashley Flynn was killed.

In one alleged message, prosecutors say Caleb wrote he stayed up until 4 AM "trying to think of ways to kill her and not go to jail" ... adding he'd kill Ashley "in a heartbeat" if he could do it without going to hell.

The Florida mother charged with incest, Christina Clemens, is out of jail as she awaits trial ... and a judge ordered her to have absolutely no contact with her son, Shane, who she allegedly had sex with around 100 times.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, a Florida judge released 46-year-old Christina from custody but specifically barred her from having any direct or indirect contact with her 22-year-old son.

Shane was released from custody on Thursday, according to jail records ... so they're both fresh out.

Startling new footage of the Los Angeles news helicopter crash that killed three people shows the final seconds before the craft's deadly impact ... and the blades of the airship appear to have been stalled.

The security footage -- taken from a nearby business -- was shared by Los Angeles Aerial Photography on social media and it shows the helicopter's descent in slow motion.

It looks like the blades are stalled ... and the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash.

The holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy case is calling BS on claims that he had reasonable doubt ... insisting he's convinced she meticulously planned to kill her kids.

Michael Péguy Desronvil is speaking out personally for the first time ... trying to clear up confusion about what went down in the jury room of Lindsay's murder trial that ended in an 11-1 deadlock.

In a statement to TMZ, Desronvil said, "I didn't have any doubts. As I tried to explain different possible theories during deliberation, I kept getting cut off as if I had doubts based on the evidence presented."

The 1993 cold case murder of a 10-year-old Maryland boy may finally be solved ... a 61-year-old man has now been charged with rape and murder in the youngster's death.

The Prince George's County PD announced that Joseph Lynch was charged Wednesday for the May 1993 disappearance and murder of George "Junior" Burdynski in Brentwood. Back then, local police and federal investigators searched high and low for Burdynski, but they couldn't find the child, and his remains have never been recovered. 

However, the department's cold case unit continued to investigate and finally got its big break in May 2026 when investigators interviewed a former resident of Brentwood who was 13 at the time.

A group of college students sitting on their porch asked dozens of non-students gathering there for a street takeover to get off their property ... and were mercilessly attacked and beaten in response.

It all went down just outside York College in Pennsylvania on the night of Sept. 11 ... the students were pulled by their hair, beaten, punched, and kicked ... all while a crowd watched and recorded.

The onslaught happened after the students say they called police in the hopes of dispersing the raucous crowd ... they called cops five times.

A husband and wife ran the Hummingbird Day Spa in California, raking in a whopping $700,000 a year ... but the windfall was all thanks to its prostitution services, authorities say.

Lin Wang, 46, and Xian Wang, 48, were the owners of the spa that mainly operated as a brothel in Cupertino from 2022 to September 2026, when law enforcement raided the joint, according to prosecutors.

Santa Clara County District Attorney Jeff Rosen said the "busy" brothel serviced about 30 men each day with a full menu of illegal sexual activity.
