Bryant Gumbel Hospitalized in NYC

Bryant Gumbel is currently hospitalized in NYC after some sort of "medical emergency" ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us, the former "Today" cohost was transported Monday, just after 9 PM, from his Manhattan apartment building.

We're told first responders had Bryant on a gurney, as they left the building and took him to a nearby hospital where he remains as of Tuesday afternoon.

According to Pearlman, the two didn't get along much ... with Janet a consummate professional on-set while Tupac had a tendency to come and go as he pleased.

The singer-songwriter explained her sudden departure from her United Center show in an Instagram post Sunday morning ... telling her fans that -- after weeks of nonstop rehearsals -- she experienced feelings of dehydration during the show.

Brandy says she did return to the stage after initially leaving it ... but adds she couldn't connect to the tunes sonically -- and acknowledges it wasn't her best show by any stretch of imagination.

Daniel Stern -- best known for his role in "Home Alone" -- was rushed to the emergency room earlier this month ... but fortunately, he is doing just fine now.

This incident went down on October 7th, with the Ventura County Fire Department telling TMZ they responded to a residence in Somis, California, for a medical emergency. Sources tell us the individual was Daniel, although it's unclear what the medical issue was.

The dept says the individual was assessed by firefighters and eventually transported to a nearby hospital. Sources tell us Daniel has since been released.

Mark Sanchez spent about 20 minutes roaming and, at times, stumbling around downtown Indianapolis before the violent encounter with his alleged victim ... and this new video shows nearly all of his activity.

TMZ Sports obtained surveillance videos tracking the ex-NFL star -- from 12:05 AM, when the alleged victim, Perry Tole, pulled up in his service truck ... to 12:30 AM, when Sanchez fled the scene, bloodied from stab wounds.

When Tole arrives, you see him drive south down the alley ... where, apparently, Sanchez was already on the move. When Tole parks, he's out of camera view, so we don't know if they see each other, but 7 minutes later, Sanchez walks north out of the alley ... stumbling a bit.

Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for accused scrotum-slasher Jeanita Hopings ... after the 45-year-old woman allegedly kicked in the front door of her boyfriend's Toledo home and barged inside ... to perform her amateur surgery on him with a sharp object.

And get this .. cops say Hopings cut her boyfriend so badly that one of his nuts was fully exposed ... requiring treatment at a local hospital. Yikes!

The alleged victim in the Mark Sanchez stabbing incident has been released from the hospital, the 69-year-old's lawyers tell TMZ Sports ... but with serious injuries that make it hard to even talk, he's got a long road to recovery.

We spoke with attorneys Erik May and Eddie Reichert on Monday -- the men representing Perry Tole -- who was severely wounded after an altercation with the former NFL QB early Saturday morning in downtown Indianapolis.

Mark Sanchez's family is breaking its silence for the first time since Saturday morning's stabbing incident ... saying the former star quarterback continues to receive medical care, while also thanking fans for their support.

"This has been a deeply distressing time for everyone involved. Mark and our family are incredibly grateful for the concern, love, and support we’ve received over the past few days," Mark's brother, Nick, said in a statement to TMZ Sports.

Scary moment for Jenelle Evans and her family ... we've learned her mother, Barbara, was hospitalized after suffering a stroke.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Jenelle's mom suffered a stroke last week and has since been discharged from the hospital. We are told Barbara is recovering at home and expected to make a full recovery.

We're told Jenelle has flown back to North Carolina to see her mother and be with family... Jenelle's lived in Nevada for over a year now after moving West, and our sources say the reason she wasn't able to fly home earlier to be by Barbara's side is because Jenelle recently had sinus surgery.

Delta Airlines Two Jets Crash On Taxiway ... One Person Injured

A pair of Delta Airline jets crashed on the taxiway at NYC's LaGuardia Airport Wednesday night -- but, miraculously, there was only one injury.

The planes were involved in a "low-speed collision" with the wing of one airline smashing into the cockpit windows of the second aircraft, according to Delta authorities.

Officials said the second aircraft flew in from Charlotte, North Carolina, with 57 passengers, touching down minutes before its nose slammed into the first plane about to take off to Roanoke, Virginia.

Tyreek Hill's former teammate, Terron Armstead, tells TMZ Sports the wide receiver was in so much pain after dislocating his knee on Monday, he actually had to laugh to prevent passing out.

Armstead said on Tuesday the Dolphins star called him just hours after he sustained the gruesome injury during Miami's "Monday Night Football" clash with the Jets ... and he explained one of the biggest reasons he was grinning ear-to-ear while being carted off the field was he might've lost consciousness otherwise.

"He was laughing through the pain," Armstead said. "Because it was either that or pass out."
