Stunning revelation from Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy ... he says he was recently diagnosed with cancer -- but, thankfully, he added he's already beaten it.

The 47-year-old told his employees and his fans this week on multiple Barstool Sports shows that following a routine check-in with a doctor ... he was told he had basal cell carcinoma on his neck.

Portnoy said he was forced to undergo surgery to remove the issue -- although fortunately, he informed everyone the procedure has been deemed a success.

12:45 PM PT -- Cameron Brink just commented on the injury ... and while it clearly broke her heart -- she's vowing to come back stronger than before.

"I will not be derailed and I will continue to love this life," she said on her Instagram page Wednesday afternoon. "I'm not defined by basketball, but it is something that I love deeply and I will work everyday to get back to it. It's not goodbye basketball it’s just a see you later. I’m always so thankful for your thoughts and prayers. 💜💛"

Ian McKellen stepped into the spotlight in London and ended up in a hospital ... this after taking a nasty fall during a theater performance this week.

The actor -- who turned 85 last month -- was hospitalized Monday after losing his footing in a "Player Kings" fight scene and falling off stage ... this according to multiple reports out of the UK.

Ian plays John Falstaff in 'PK' -- a new West End production of Shakespeare's Henry IV parts one and two -- and he was circling a battle scene when he tumbled off the front of the stage, screaming in pain as he hit the deck.

"Love Island Games" champion Jack Fowler is ripping an airline over an allergic reaction he says he suffered on a flight ... accusing the company of not taking food allergies seriously.

Jack just shared what he characterizes as a travel nightmare on social media, claiming he was flying Emirates when he was served a cashew nut ... despite allegedly warning flight attendants multiple times about his severe nut allergy.

The reality star says he had difficulty breathing and needed oxygen and an EpiPen after being served a chicken dish with nuts in it ... suggesting death was a "real possibility."

Conor McGregor's UFC comeback has been put on hold -- the "Notorious" is OUT of his UFC 303 main event fight against Michael Chandler.

UFC honcho Dana White announced the devastating news late Thursday night -- just two weeks and a day before the scrap -- saying 35-year-old McGregor suffered an injury, and wouldn't be able to fight. The nature of the injury isn't known at this time.

A Virginia state trooper was sent flying to the ground after a drunk driver slammed into her patrol car during a separate DUI stop -- and the whole thing was caught on video.

This all unfolded when Trooper C. Aziz responded to a sedan stopped in a lane on Interstate 495 Tuesday in Fairfax County ... and as you can see from the cop's dashcam, she's at the driver's window attempting to coax her to exit the vehicle or move it to the shoulder.

It's right then when another vehicle hits her patrol car from behind -- which is reported to have been a Jeep Cherokee -- and you can see the trooper get rammed from the front.

Kathy spilled the deets on her surgery the day before ... explaining she's getting an implant in her left vocal cord. This comes a year after surgery in the same spot, which was left paralyzed during her 2021 lung cancer operation to remove half of her left lung.

At least 2 people were allegedly electrocuted at a resort in Mexico -- and the aftermath appears to have been caught on camera ... which shows one person receiving CPR.
