Jeffrey Louis Starr -- a former child actor -- has died ... TMZ has confirmed with multiple family members.

Starr passed away last month ... with a family source telling us he took his last breath in a hospital in Carbondale, Illinois surrounded by loved ones. We're told he dealing with an illness before he died.

Jeffrey's brother, Kevin, and sister-in-law, Michele, posted on social media after he passed ... remembering Jeffrey as someone who gave great hugs, had a big heart and seemed to make and have friends at just about every place he walked into.

Tevin Hood -- a rapper from Georgia better known as T-Hood -- was shot at his home, and later died  ... TMZ has confirmed.

The Gwinnett County police officers responded to reports of a dispute that resulted in a shooting in unincorporated Snellville Friday ... and an investigation into the shooting is currently underway.

We're told first responders rendered aid at the scene and transported a man to the local area hospital where he ultimately died from his injuries.

The gunman who fatally shot a cop after opening fire on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention headquarters in Atlanta ... reportedly had a beef with the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to the New York Times ... 30-year-old Patrick Joseph White believed he got sick after taking the COVID-19 shot and had an unhealthy fixation on the vaccine, prompting his dad to call authorities to report his son was suicidal.

CNN also cited sources who said the shooter may have targeted the CDC over personal health concerns he blamed on the COVID-19 vaccine.

Japanese boxer Shigetoshi Kotari has tragically passed away following a serious injury he sustained in a title fight just 1 week ago.

The World Boxing Organization (WBO) announced on X Kotari died on Friday after his August 2 match in Tokyo against Yamato Hata ... and remembered him as a "warrior in the ring" and a "fighter in spirit."

The super-featherweight underwent emergency brain surgery to treat a subdural hematoma following the fight, per a translated press release shared by the Japan Boxing Commission. A subdural hematoma is a type of bleeding that occurs between the brain and skull, per Cleveland Clinic, and can be fatal if not attended to.

Kaylee Goncalves' father is talking to politicians about taking away commissary funds for murderers like Bryan Kohberger ... and, in his ideal world, that money would be repurposed to pay for the killer's execution.

We caught up with Steve Goncalves Friday ... and, he tells us he's working with two Idaho legislators to make convicted murderers like Bryan Kohberger reimburse taxpayers for the investigation costs of their crimes through their prison commissary funds.

The Goncalves family is leading the charge ... consulting with Xana Kernodle's family on occasion.

Emilie Kiser's husband, Brady Kiser, knew their 3-year-old son, Trigg Kiser, was playing in their Arizona home's backyard before he fell into the pool and drowned in May.

A Chandler Police Department report obtained by TMZ reveals Brady admitted to law enforcement he saw his toddler playing outside -- and near the pool -- calling it a common activity for him.

He said ... "He loved to be outside, he loved to play outside, and so in my mind it was, you know, just that of him going and doing as he routinely had other times going out to play, the difference was I was the only parent home."

Tom Hanks is saying farewell to late Apollo 13 astronaut James Lovell ... who Tom famously played on the big screen.

In 1995's "Apollo 13" Tom plays Lovell, who died Thursday at 97.

Tom is remembering Lovell in a heartfelt post on social media, saying ... "There are people who dare, who dream, and who lead others to the places we would not go on our own. Jim Lovell, who for a long while had gone farther into space and for longer than any other person of our planet, was that kind of guy."

Malcolm-Jamal Warner's mother is speaking out for the first time since her son drowned at a beach in Costa Rica.

Pamela Warner broke her silence Friday in a lengthy post on social media, saying ... "Needless to say our hearts are heavy with the loss of Malcolm."

Bryan Kohberger left behind a devastating murder scene after killing four University of Idaho students ... and, police have released some of the harrowing images.

The Moscow Police Department dropped a series of photos that likely would've come out during trial had Kohberger not pled guilty ... with the first capturing a pair of handprints pressed into a window back in November 2022.

The two prints are tinged with frost ... standing out starkly from the rest of the crystal clear glass. Unclear if they were made on the inside or outside of the building.

Jim Lovell -- the commander of the Apollo 13 mission that nearly ended in disaster and inspired a blockbuster 1995 film -- has died.

Lovell died at his home in Illinois Thursday ... and, NASA released a statement Friday adding Lovell inspired millions of people -- and his influence has echoed down the decades as NASA continues to explore space.

Lovell's family also released a statement ... writing the whole clan will "miss his unshakeable optimism, his sense of humor, and the way he made each of us feel we could do the impossible. He was truly one of a kind.”

Kelly Clarkson’s deep in grief over ex-hubby Brandon Blackstock’s death -- but her talk show’s still slated for a fall return, TMZ has learned.

Sources tell TMZ ... "The Kelly Clarkson Show" is locked for a 7th season and the plan is to still drop fresh episodes in September.

Rumors circulated this year that Kelly was going to leave the show because of her numerous absences ... though we learned that was because of Blackstock's illness. We’re told the whole staff knew about Brandon’s illness -- but kept it under wraps out of respect for Kelly and Brandon's privacy.

Savannah Blackstock Lee, Brandon's daughter from his first marriage to Melissa Ashworth, shared a photo on Facebook last month standing alongside her dad with a sprawling wilderness behind them ... and, Brandon's arm is slung over her shoulder.

Savannah Blackstock Lee jumped on Instagram in July and announced she's preggers with her second kid by way of her husband, Quentin Lee ... and as you know, Brandon passed away Thursday -- weeks after her post -- following a long battle with melanoma, a serious form of skin cancer.

Savannah -- the daughter of Brandon's other ex-wife, Melissa Ashworth -- wrote she and Quentin had been "keeping a couple of sweet surprises."

Brandon Blackstock -- Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband and former manager -- has died, TMZ has confirmed.

The statement reads, "It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away. Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time."

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Blackstock was fighting melanoma, a serious form of skin cancer. We're told Brandon passed away this morning, just a few hours ago, after battling the disease for three and a half years.

Jason Kelce was by his dad's side as Ed Kelce said his final goodbyes to his girlfriend on Thursday ... attending Maureen Maguire's memorial service with Kylie Kelce.

Travis Kelce's big brother and sister-in-law made the trip to Gladwyne, Penn. to celebrate the life of Maguire ... who died "peacefully" nearly one week ago.

Jason wore a button-down shirt and tie ... while Kylie opted for a black dress. Ed donned a full suit -- and was seen helping carry Maguire's casket throughout the funeral.
