Patrick Steinfeld -- a lawyer for Rivas' family -- released a statement following the singer's arrest, explaining how the family plans to handle D4vd's possible upcoming court hearings.

Family members plan to exercise their rights under California's Victims' Bill of Rights -- better known as Marsy's Law -- to attend D4vd's arraignment if the D.A. chooses to charge him with murder. They will also attend any press conference the D.A. holds following the arraignment ... and will speak to the media after that. Steinfeld also shared an insight into how the family's feeling ...

She died in the evening at her home in Paris following a Lewy body dementia diagnosis, her family told French press agency, AFP.

Lewy body dementia is one of the most common forms of dementia, and symptoms include visual hallucinations, according to Alzheimers.gov. It leads to problems with thinking, movement, behavior, and mood.

Bianca Huntley -- a mother of 2 whose family says she was pregnant with her third child -- was killed in Atlanta earlier this week while sitting in rush hour traffic.

According to 11 Alive -- a local outlet based in the ATL area -- cops responded to a report of a woman shot on the I-75 freeway, traveling northbound, just after 6 PM on April 14.

Huntley was found shot, but still alive, in her white BMW SUV. First responders rushed her to the hospital ... where she later died of her injuries.

Ashlee Jenae’s family is still searching for answers about her sudden death -- and now they’re one step closer, but stuck in agonizing limbo.

Ashlee’s father, Harry Robinson, tells TMZ he traveled to Washington, D.C. to press the U.S. government for help getting in touch with Tanzanian authorities ... desperate for any update on his daughter’s death.

The police are advancing their investigation into the death of Ashlee Jenae -- the content creator who died on a trip to Zanzibar earlier this month. Authorities have seized her fiancé Joe McCann's passport and are questioning him ... but only as a witness, as no arrests have been made.

As you know ... Ashlee died while on vacation with Joe, who proposed to her on the trip. The vacation was planned as Ashlee's 31st birthday celebration, which turned out to be her last.

Ashlee Jenae's family is seeking answers after her tragic death in Tanzania, and it sounds like they will go to great lengths to figure out what happened to her ... including a possible trip to Africa for a face-to-face with officials.

The late influencer's mother, Yolanda, tells TMZ ... Ashlee’s father, Harry, went to Washington, D.C. today to meet with the U.S. Embassy and State Department.

We're told Harry wanted to go in person to see if the family could help get answers from authorities in Zanzibar, where Ashlee was traveling with her fiancé, Joe McCann, when she died.

Anna Kepner’s stepbrother, T.H. -- who is accused of raping and murdering her on a Carnival cruise -- has been living with family while being monitored by the feds ... but now that he's charged as an adult, prosecutors have changed their tune and want him behind bars pending his trial ... According to court docs obtained by TMZ, T.H. -- who was arrested in February and indicted by a federal grand jury for first-degree murder and aggravated sexual abuse as an adult this week -- has been staying at his uncle Devon Ziske’s home.

T.H. was ordered to stay at home and always be under the supervision of an adult. He was made to wear a GPS monitor and not allowed to be alone with anyone under the age of 18, unless supervised by an adult.

Ashlee Jenae's family tells us they've heard next to nothing from her fiancé Joe McCann since her tragic death in Tanzania earlier this month ... and they're looking to get their hands on surveillance video from the hotel where she was found unconscious.

Ashlee's parents -- Harry and Yolanda, and their respective partners -- sat down with TMZ's Charlie Neff and told us about their communications with Joe, or lack thereof, in the wake of Ashlee's death.

The family says Joe only reached out to them once ... 11 hours after she was taken to a hospital ... and her father says that's really strange. He says Joe assured them everything was fine, but Ashlee was ultimately pronounced dead at the hospital.
