The Davenport Police Department released body cam video of the Iowa police officer fatally shooting a dog in front of 2 kids, saying the cop's actions were lawful, but the pooch's owner has a very different take.

The PD released the footage Wednesday along with the shooting officer's report, which states the salivating dog aggressively confronted him, baring its teeth and repeatedly snapping at him. The video clearly shows the canine lunging toward the frightened officer, identified by Our Quad City News as Ethan Bock.

However, the dog's owner, Don Hesseltine, tells TMZ ... Bock should be criminally charged and tossed in jail for killing his beloved Myst.

Scary scene over in Colorado ... where folks claim members of a brutal Venezuelan gang are taking over entire apartment complexes ... and footage shows the men are heavily armed.

New video from an apartment complex in Aurora shows six men wandering the halls, climbing a staircase and banging on a unit's front door ... and five of the men are packing heat.

One of the men is openly carrying what appears to be an assault rifle -- check out the huge scope on the gun -- while the other four are walking around with handguns.

The FBI just dropped new photos of Thomas Matthew Crooks' firearm and IEDs from his failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump last month.

Two homemade bombs can be seen in one pic from Crooks' car trunk ... one in a green ammo case with a wire taped on, and the other in a black case. The remote detonation receiver was set to "off" for both, according to the FBI.

Another pic shows his AR-style rifle broken down into two pieces, along with a black backpack.

An Iowa police officer fatally shot a dog in front of the pet's owners and young children – but the question is whether the cop was justified to use deadly force.

The officer, identified by Our Quad City News as Ethan Bock, responded to a house in Davenport, IA, on the night of August 21 after receiving a report of 4 aggressive dogs trying to jump a fence to reach another pooch.

As Bock was investigating the call in an alley, he came upon one of the dogs dashing toward him from a yard outside the home.

This is sick ... disturbing video out of Florida appears to show a man physically abusing a dog and wielding a sharp object ... and now police are involved.

In the footage, posted to social media by Only in Dade, you see a man and a large dog on the balcony of a Miami high-rise ... and the guy appears to grab the pooch by the neck and head, shoving the poor pup's face toward the floor.

The dog here is clearly scared, and tries to get away from the man ... but he grabs the dog again, this time with what looks to be a knife in hand, and appears to strike the dog in the ribs multiple times.

6:36 AM PT -- Lil Baby's attorneys, Drew Findling and David Chesnoff, tell TMZ ... "To be clear, Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit. On his behalf we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas."

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ -- Lil Baby was seen at the Encore in Vegas in the club, and was seen on video being passed a gun. After cops arrived and investigated ... he was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm without a permit.

Nevada does not recognize Carry Concealed Weapon permits issued in Georgia.

Lil Baby landed behind bars Monday in Las Vegas ... 'cause he got busted for possessing an illegal weapon.

Here's the deal ... in 2022, Detective Joshua Jaynes and Sgt. Kyle Meany were charged with submitting a false affidavit to search Taylor's home before the raid, and then creating a fake cover story to avoid responsibility after Taylor was killed during the raid.
