There's a reason L.A. Clippers star Chris Paul got a sick deal on his giant Bel Air mansion -- according to Avril Lavigne's ex-husband Deryck Whibley ... the place has a bad ghost problem.
TMZ broke the story ... Avril sold Chris the 8-bedroom palace for $8.5 million -- one million less than her original listing price.
But according to Whibley -- who used to live in the house with Avril -- the discount was no coincidence ... telling us, the mansion is "haunted."
Color us skeptical -- but the Clippers did lose to the Lakers last night ... coincidence?

whats the clippers loss have to do with chris's mansion being haunted? theres no connection if you know alittle about hauntings and ghosts.
BS on top of BS on top of BS on top of BS .. who believes this crap
We still loves CP3 in N.O. I'm sure they will have there house blessed at there house warming party.God Bless Chris & Jada
What a crock. I've lived for 15 years in a house that is haunted or had some definitely weird stuff that went on. It pissed me off one day bothering other people and that is when we to terms. I don't bother it if it doesn't bother me. Everyone likes the idea of "haunted" since it's all the rage now, but if you had a haunted house you'd know it.
What happened to him? He's a mess. Tweeking much? She can't stand still. He looks liek Eddive Van Halen's high brother.
I wonder if you can get arrested in L.A. for wearing that Hat?
I can't make a call on that haunted crapola but by the looks of that little man he looks like some piece of trash waiting to score.
come on TMZ you can censor ****tail sauce, but you cant clear the crappy spam?!!
If I were Avril, I'd have hime deported for telling people he's my X.
I think the Clippers may actually do better than the Lakers this season, but we'll see.
Nobody gets the asking price on Real Estate! and Deryck Whibley is quite ghostly looking!
