Nickelodeon Star Cody Longo

Busted for DUI

Allegedly Flashed Other Drivers

Cody Longo -- star of the Nickelodeon show "Hollywood Heights" -- was popped for drunk driving in L.A. this week after cops say he was flashing other drivers ... we're talking lights, not genitals ... sorry.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... 25-year-old Longo -- who's also appeared on "Days of Our Lives" and "Piranha 3D" -- was driving in Hollywood around 2:30 AM Thursday morning when cops noticed him driving like a complete d-bag.

Sources tell us ... Longo was driving aggressively ... following too close to another car and flashing it with his high beams.

Once cops pulled the guy over, we're told officers noticed Longo reeked of booze -- so they performed various field sobriety tests ... which he bombed.

One source tells us ... Longo's blood alcohol level was .19 and .20 ... more than twice the legal limit.

Longo was arrested and hauled to a nearby police station where he was booked ... and later released after posting $15,000 bail.

A rep for Longo tells us, "This was an unfortunate misunderstanding," adding, "Cody takes it very seriously as his focus is music and acting."

Is there anyone, anyone at all who doesn't get you can't drink and drive? Maybe it's time to increase the penalty, for those who have lived under a rock for 20 years or think the law doesn't apply to them.

Bad journalism. So he's not a flasher, but you journalists like your headline. So who cares that you create a totally false perception of someone being a pervert when they're not?

"...an unfortunate misunderstanding..." What was misunderstood, that it's illegal to drive drunk? I don't get it. Wish I had a rep to make up sorry excuses for me.

Dude, not to worry. You're in California. Just flash your celebrity card, and some bucks--and it'll all disappear.

I saw a different picture of this guy earlier. He looks like the love child of Brad Pitt.

Uh, right... if he's so serious about work he'd have been at home, not drunk and out at 2:30am... what a joke, how these reps and the celebs themselves try to spin things... pathetic!!!

A misunderstanding? There's no misunderstanding - more than 2x the limit: you deserve to have your drivers license revoked for a month. He could have killed someone.
