Palm Beach Plane Crash: Investigators Share New Details in Day 2 Press Conference
Palm Beach Plane Crash New Details in Deadly Disaster ... Debris Landed Almost 4 Miles From Crash Site
The National Transportation Safety Board shared another update on the deadly Florida plane crash that killed nine people ... including just how far the debris ended up from the crash site.
The agency held another press conference Tuesday as investigators work to piece together what caused a private jet to plummet from the sky Sunday and crash into a Palm Beach County neighborhood.
A spokesperson for the NTSB said during the press conference that debris from the crash can be found up to 4 miles away from the crash site ... and they're asking members of the community to be vigilant -- while also imploring them not to move what they might find.
At least some important pieces of the aircraft separated before the impact, the NTSB agent added. He also noted the investigation into the pilots' certification as it relates to flying the Learjet 60.
He also made it clear there's no evidence to suggest this was an attack aimed at President Trump, whose club Mar-a-Lago is nearby.
As TMZ previously reported ... NTSB officials revealed Monday there were indications the Learjet 60 was breaking apart before it hit the ground. Investigators also said they were examining poor weather conditions, including ice and turbulence, but stressed it was still early in the investigation.
Chilling air traffic control audio captured the crew's frantic final moments ... including a mayday call as the jet rapidly lost altitude and a crew member warned they were about to crash.
All nine people aboard were killed ... including Texas entrepreneur Adam Robinson, his wife, their two young children, three other passengers and two pilots.
As we first reported ... the group was headed from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas to celebrate Adam's birthday when tragedy struck.
The NTSB has not determined the cause of the crash.
