Federal prosecutors are demanding Anna Kepner’s stepbrother be locked up after he was accused of raping and murdering his sister ... TMZ has learned. 

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, prosecutors call Anna’s brother -- only identified as T.H. in paperwork -- a “danger to others” and argue he should not be released on bond. 

The prosecutors said that the evidence “demonstrated the offense conduct that [T.H.] engaged in involved the most serious, egregious, and violative crimes one person can inflict upon another.” 

Rep. Tony Gonzales says he's retiring from Congress ... stepping aside after admitting to having an affair with a staffer who committed suicide last year by setting herself on fire.

The Republican Congressman from Texas announced his retirement plans Monday in a social media post, saying ... "There is a season for everything and God has a plan for us all. When Congress returns tomorrow, I will file my retirement from office. It has been my privilege to serve the great people of Texas."

Gonzales was running for re-election until his campaign got rocked by allegations he had an affair with former staffer Regina Santos-Aviles, who died in 2025.

Katy Perry is vehemently denying allegations she sexually assaulted actress Ruby Rose back in the day.

Katy's rep tells TMZ ... "The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies. Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named."

The "Dark Horse" singer's response comes just hours after Ruby made a series of sexual assault claims in a flurry of social media posts.

Billionaire businessman Stephen Cloobeck directly confronted Eric Swalwell about the sexual assault allegations against him, telling the congressman he'd "busted the trust" ... before Cloobeck gave him the boot, TMZ has learned.

In a phone interview Monday with TMZ ... Cloobeck went into detail on what led up to tossing Swalwell (D-CA) out of his California mansion, saying it all came down to "integrity."

Cloobeck said as a businessman, he does not "bust the trust" and always has integrity ... which is not the case with Swalwell.

Congressman Eric Swalwell is dealing with more than just sexual misconduct allegations ... he's now got an angry husband on his case after Swalwell allegedly bombarded his wife with explicit pics and showed up near their home.

Adam Parkhomenko -- husband to influencer Ally Sammarco -- posted Saturday ... "If Eric Swalwell or his attorney makes a single statement that disparages my wife, I will be filing a lawsuit against him."

He added, "I've already made clear that if he believes anything I've said is untrue, he should sue me immediately."

California congressman and gubernatorial candidate Eric Swalwell is coming under fire for claims he's acted inappropriately with female staffers ... something he denies, but bailing on a town hall in the aftermath is raising eyebrows.

Several left-leaning influencers have recently made the unsubstantiated allegations, posting statements and videos on social media.

Swalwell's camp told POLITICO the claims are a "false, outrageous rumor" made by "flailing opponents who have sadly teamed up with MAGA conspiracy theorists," saying the whole thing is an attempt to tank his gubernatorial run because he's "the frontrunner in this race."

Joseph Duggar looks like he's got a super supportive wife ... because he was emailing with Kendra Duggar after getting locked up on child molestation allegations ... and they talked religion and music.

In new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, there's an email exchange between Joseph and Kendra, his wife of over 8 years as well as the mother of his 4 children.

Joseph was first to reach out, emailing Kendra on March 23 from an Arkansas jail, saying ... "hopefully this finds you well. love you sweetie! <3 <3 <3 love you to the moon and back."

Former WWE champion Alberto del Rio appears to be in legal trouble down in Mexico, where he allegedly physically assaulted his wife.

Alberto was detained by law enforcement in San Luis Potosí, a large Mexican state, according to multiple reports Monday.

The detainment was reportedly the result of a complaint filed by Alberto's wife, who alleged he beat her.

Joseph Duggar's arrest on child molestation allegations prompted an email from his brother-in-law Austin Forsyth ... with Austin offering to help Joseph's wife, Kendra Duggar, get through things.

In new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, there's an email exchange between Joseph and Austin, who is married to Joseph's sister, "19 Kids and Counting" star Joy-Anna.

Austin emailed Joseph on March 25, while Joseph was behind bars at the Washington County Detention Center in Arkansas following allegations he molested a 9-year-old girl in Florida.

Gigi Hadid is breaking her silence after her name popped up in the infamous Jeffrey Epstein files and she's making it crystal clear she had zero connection to the late sex offender.

In a now deleted comment responding to a fan online, Gigi said it made her "sick to my stomach" to see herself mentioned by Epstein -- someone she says she's never met or had any affiliation with.

She added it was "horrible" to read someone she's never even encountered speak about her that way, especially given the context.

“This firm made repeated attempts over several weeks to reach Mr. Wilder's legal counsel — including Mr. Patterson — before filing this action. Those efforts went unanswered. Filing was not our first choice. It was our last. The statute of limitations in this matter expires on April 20, 2025. After weeks of silence from the other side, despite repeated follow-ups, we had no legal alternative but to file in order to protect our client's rights."

“If the timing of this lawsuit is ‘suspicious,’ as Mr. Patterson claims, the explanation is simple: his own failure to respond forced our hand.”

They also noted that they “filed this action quietly and without a press release — the opposite of what we would have done if the intent were to generate publicity.”

“This case is not about boxing. It is not about public image or fight week. It is about the physical abuse of a child over a sustained period of time. Our client deserves to have that heard, and we intend to see that it is.”

Deontay Wilder was just hit with explosive allegations outside the ring … with a new lawsuit accusing the former heavyweight champ of repeatedly beating a minor over several years ... but the boxer's attorney is calling the claims not only untrue, but "suspicious."

TMZ Sports has obtained court documents where Wilder is accused by Kerron Swift -- son of his ex-fiancée Telli Swift -- of brutally attacking him while he was living under the Bronze Bomber's roof as a kid.

Swift alleges the abuse stretched from around 2016 through 2024 … and paints a disturbing picture of life inside the household.

BBC Radio host Scott Mills has been fired over reported concerns about "personal conduct," according to BBC News.

After being with the broadcaster for almost 30 years, a spokesperson told USA Today that the British DJ is "no longer contracted to work with the BBC."

According to The Mirror, the allegation "relates to a historic relationship dating back more than 10 years," but no details about Mills' alleged behavior have been reported.

'Mormon Wives' star Demi Engemann allegedly admitted to lying about a storyline in her “pursuit of fame” ... and now a guy suing her for defamation plans to use it against her in court ... TMZ has learned.

In court docs obtained by TMZ, "Vanderpump Villa" star Marciano Brunette fired back at Demi’s attempt to dismiss the defamation lawsuit he filed against her over sexual assault allegations.

As TMZ previously reported, Marciano claimed Demi ruined his rep by falsely accusing him of sexual assault that she said occurred when they both filmed for "Vanderpump Villa." Marciano has insisted everything between them was consensual.
