Jonathan Joss, the "King of the Hill" voice actor shot and killed Sunday, was a deeply complicated man whose demons helped lead to his tragic fate, his ex-girlfriend tells TMZ.

Brandy Trejo, who dated Joss for 13 years during the height of his career, tells us … Joss was the most "self-destructive person" she ever met … and to her, it seemed like he couldn't stand it when something good happened to him.

What's more ... Brandy says she witnessed him drive his neighbors crazy for years with his outbursts and outlandish behavior ... so when she learned a neighbor allegedly killed him in an argument -- she was not shocked.

The man suspected of fatally shooting a "King of the Hill" voice actor in Texas is out of jail ... having posted bail days after he was arrested for murder in the national headline-making case.

San Antonio authorities tell TMZ ... Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez posted $200,000 bail, and will be required to wear an ankle monitor. Bexar County court records say he's been placed under house arrest, and he will undergo random drug and alcohol testing, and he's forbidden from possessing firearms during his detention.

Alvarez was arrested Sunday night after he allegedly shot and killed neighbor Jonathan Joss after the two men got into a heated exchange, according to police.

The Kobe and Gianna Bryant mural in downtown L.A. -- just restored last week following previous vandalism -- has been defaced again ... and now the artist tells TMZ Sports he's likely going to move the artwork to a new location.

The mural, located (at least for the time being) on the side of a building at 14th and Main in DTLA, was targeted by vandals on Tuesday evening ... and we have video of the aftermath, showing white spray paint scribbled across the artwork.

The damage comes just four days after the artist, Sloe Motions, fixed his mural after an earlier incident of vandalism ... the apparent result of a feud between rival street artists.

'Sport Science' Host John Brenkus Died By Suicide ... Medical Examiner Says

John Brenkus -- the host of the Emmy-award winning show "Sport Science" -- died by suicide last week, the Virginia Department of Health, Office of the Chief Medical Examiner tells TMZ Sports.

Brenkus' family announced the passing to the public on Sunday -- writing in a statement on X that Brenkus "had been battling depression."

"John lost his fight with this terrible illness on May 31st, 2025," they said. "His heartbroken family and friends request privacy at this time, and encourage anyone who is struggling with depression to seek help."

Jonathan Joss, the voice actor who portrayed John Redcorn on the animated TV show "King of the Hill," was shot dead Sunday evening, allegedly by a neighbor ... and now we know what the suspect looks like.

TMZ has obtained a copy of Sigfredo Alvarez Ceja's mug shot ... he was arrested Sunday about a block away from the shooting scene and charged with murder -- and is being held on $200K bond.

Police and eyewitnesses previously told TMZ ... the two men -- neighbors in San Antonio -- got into a heated argument before Ceja allegedly shot and killed Joss.

Actor Jonathan Joss -- best known for his work in the animated series "King of the Hill" -- has died after being shot by a neighbor in Texas, TMZ has learned.

According to the San Antonio Police Dept. and eyewitnesses ... Joss got into a heated argument with his neighbor at a house on the city's south side Sunday night -- leading to a bloody confrontation.

Police say the unidentified neighbor whipped out a gun and pumped several bullets into the actor before fleeing in a vehicle. Officers responded to a call of a shooting in progress and received a description of the car.

Mike "The Bodysnatcher" McCallum -- a former professional boxer -- has died ... according to multiple reports.

The Jamaican athlete passed away Saturday while he was on his way to the gym in Las Vegas, according to the The Jamaica Observer. The outlet claims he fell ill and pulled over to the side of the road where he was eventually found by deceased by police.

Devin Harjes, best known for his role on "Boardwalk Empire" is dead.

According to Devin's obituary, he died on May 27 at Mount Sinai West Hospital in New York. The Hollywood Reporter reported he died after a brief battle with cancer.

He began his career in Texas theater before moving to New York. He was best known for playing Jack Dempsey on the HBO series. He also played roles on shows such as "Gotham," "Orange is the New Black," "Daredevil," "Elementary," "Blue Bloods," "FBI," and "Manifest."

A source with direct knowledge tells TMZ ... Ronald died in Los Angeles after battling an illness.

Actress Loretta Swit -- best known for playing the character Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan on the long-running sitcom "M*A*S*H" -- died today, TMZ has learned.

Swit's publicist, Harlan Boll, tells TMZ … the two spoke last night, and she seemed fine. Boll said Swit died Friday inside her NYC apartment -- she was found at 10 AM by her maid.

Swit was pronounced dead at noon, according to Boll. No cause of death has been confirmed, but Boll says they believe she died from natural causes.

Luka Doncic's $5,000 just went a long way -- the DTLA mural honoring the late Kobe and Gigi Bryant that was defaced amid an apparent beef between street artists has been restored.

The tribute piece received a new paint job and was returned to its former glory this week ... after it was spotted last month covered with white paint and a graffiti tag.

The fresh mural now looks like its original ... and features Kobe holding a baby Gigi, the L.A. skyline and the phrase "Mamba Forever."
