Joe Manganiello's calling BS on his ex-wife Sofia Vergara's claim they split after 7 years of marriage because he wanted kids and she didn’t ... saying that's simply not why they split.

The actor insists Sofia's take -- which she floated through media interviews post-divorce -- isn't true ... telling Men's Journal they actually had deep talks about starting a family right from the start, but he made it clear to her if she was done having kids, he'd understand.

Joe says they even tried for kids during the first year and a half of their marriage -- and still ... he swore he wouldn’t bail if things didn’t work out -- and he says he stuck to that promise.

Christina Haack and hubby Joshua Hall are heading for divorce -- because he just made it official in court, signaling he wants to end their marriage ... but TMZ has learned Christina has also run to court to do the same.

According to the paperwork, obtained by TMZ, Josh filed for a dissolution of marriage Tuesday in Orange County, CA ... citing irreconcilable differences. He lists the date of separation as July 8 ... just a week or so ago.

In terms of spousal support ... Josh is asking for alimony from Christina and wants the court to eliminate her ability to collect from him. As far as splitting up their assets ... Josh says he wants the court to divvy up what was theirs respectively before they got hitched.

Shannen Doherty was in the middle of an ugly divorce with her husband before she died -- but it looks like it was a chapter they were able to close together, on the same page.

New legal docs, obtained by TMZ, show that the late actress and her estranged spouse, Kurt Iswarienko, reached an agreement on a number of issues in their divorce case ... which was very much so active before Shannen passed away this weekend.

In the paperwork, it notes both parties had come to terms on property and other issues ... and that the case would not proceed as uncontested. As part of their settlement, they also served docs with final disclosures that usually cover finances and such.

Billy Ray Cyrus and his estranged wife Firerose are fighting over money as their divorce gets nastier ... and now a judge just ordered she has to stop using his credit cards.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, a judge ruled Billy Ray's estranged wife can no longer use his American Express business account, or any other credit card account he or his business owns.

A source close to Firerose claims to us Billy spent the first part of this whole ordeal accusing her of fraud, which was found to be untrue. One of the many falsehoods he’s put out there that one can now point back to and clearly see were lies.

As we reported ... Billy Ray claims Firerose made 37 unauthorized charges on his American Express business credit card between May 23 and June 7 ... totaling a cool $96,986.05.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard's trying to move on from her estranged husband Ryan Anderson, but her pregnancy and a Louisiana law are complicating that, and prompting her to step on the gas when it comes to divorce.

While she happily announced this week she and ex-fiance Ken Urker are expecting, there's a law in the Bayou State that adds another layer to the story. It says if the mother of a child is married to someone who isn't the biological father when the child was conceived -- or has been divorced for less than 300 days at the time of birth -- then her ex, or estranged husband, is presumed to be the father.

So, in the eyes of Louisiana, Ryan's name would go on the birth certificate as the daddy ... even though Gypsy says Ken is the biological father.

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann finally have a date for their divorce trial ... though the court's directing them to try and hash out a settlement through mediation before it kicks off.

TMZ has obtained legal documents setting the estranged couple's divorce trial for November 5 and November 6 in Atlanta's Fulton County Superior Court.

That said, the couple's been directed to try and hash out their issues regarding the split in a mediation session. They have until September 25 to do so, and it looks like they'll head to trial if something can't be worked out during the mediation.
