Demi Lovato's ex-fiancé Max Ehrich says he's going to rehab after his domestic violence arrest ... and it sounds like he needs help, based on what he's telling us about the leadup to his arrest.

Max tells TMZ ... he was high and in psychosis when he had an altercation with his mom that resulted in him being hauled off to a Florida jail on a battery charge. He says his mom was trying to get him to stop huffing nitrous oxide.

The "Young and the Restless" actor says he went to Florida to stay with his parents ... after allegedly being kidnapped in Los Angeles last week by 3 gang members. He says his alleged kidnappers introduced him to nitrous, and he was high on nitrous for a week leading up to his arrest.

Marcus Jordan celebrated a big milestone this week ... he just revealed Monday was the six-month anniversary of his sobriety.

Jordan noted the achievement in an Instagram post ... writing in a caption, "6 Months Sober🚱🚯🚮 & Still The Life of The Party🥳 #180Days 🫡."

He also included a carousel of recent pictures of him chilling with friends and hanging with his famous dad, Michael Jordan.

The actor made the bold claim on "Piers Morgan Uncensored" Tuesday, where he said he "could tell" Perry wasn't sober on the press tour for his memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing,” which dropped a year before his fatal overdose in October 2023.

Remember, Perry claimed to be 19 months sober when his book dropped in November 2022.

Kodak talks some more gibberish and flashes a bottle, which appears to be containing promethazine, but it's not totally clear and we'll tell yuh why. Promethazine is prescription cough syrup that can be used as a drug called Lean.

"If I was a role model and an alcoholic and drank liquor, would I want them to do that? No, I wouldn't want them to do that. I just think from my perspective, using cannabis, that's safer than using alcohol, cocaine or anything from that perspective, or fentanyl."

The 41-year-old Olympic star opened up on his struggles in an Instagram video ... in which he revealed he's 54 days sober.

Lochte explained his journey ... saying he struggled in the aftermath of a serious car accident when he crashed into a garbage truck on his way to pick up his kids from school in 2023 ... and he experienced "depression, loneliness and feeling like I was giving up in life."
