TMZ has learned that "30 Rock" star Tracy Morgan was busted for drunk driving early this morning in New York.

Police sources tell TMZ the comedian/actor was stopped at 4:38 AM in Manhattan after cops noticed he was driving erratically. According to the police report, Morgan "was unable to maintain a position in a lane of traffic."

Edison Alban, spokesperson for the Manhattan D.A.'s office, tells TMZ that Morgan told cops he was drinking beer at a club before he was pulled over.

Morgan was taken to the 33rd Precinct and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Operating a Motor Vehicle While Impaired.

This is Morgan's second drunk driving arrest. He's currently on probation in Los Angeles for a D.U.I. conviction. The latest arrest could constitute a violation of Morgan's probation and, as a result, he could face jail time in both L.A. and New York.

98° Singer Jeff Timmons has escaped being convicted of DUI charges stemming from a traffic stop in Cocoa Beach, Florida earlier this year. His attorneys entered a plea of no contest to the amended charge of reckless driving, thus avoiding the need for a trial.

His attorney, Michael T. Donnelly stated, "In light of the facts, we consider the negotiated plea of reckless driving to be a fair resolution in this case."

Timmons, who gained national exposure as a founding member of the hit band 98°, is currently on work on a new solo record.

The entire celebrity landcape was both shaken' and stirred when cops busted Paris Hilton for DUI in Hollywood early Thursday morning. Paris' sister Nicky and her boyfriend Kevin Connolly of "Entourage" fame swiftly arrived at the police station along with über-publicist Elliot Mintz to spring the embattled heiress from pokey.

Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, just concluded (9:15AM PT) a press conference with reporters, answering questions about the Mel Gibson DUI controversy.

Whitmore, speaking outside the Sheriff's headquarters in Monterey Park, reiterated that there was no "sanitizing" of the police report and that no force was used in Gibson's arrest.

He went on to say that Gibson did not run away from law enforcement officers -- but as TMZ first revealed, the report and other evidence points to the contrary. According to the report TMZ obtained, "Gibson quickly turned and bolted towards his own vehicle." The report goes on to say that "Gibson attempted to escape arrest."

The hits just keep coming. In the wake of an alleged extortion scandal, the New York Post's Page Six now faces another legal mess. Police arrested the gossip column's editor Richard Johnson Thursday night for driving under the influence.

TMZ has obtained the video of former 98 Degrees member Jeff Timmons being arrested for DUI and driving without a license. The incident occurred on April 23 in Brevard County, Fla.

'Lost' jailbird Michelle Rodriguez is living in a military style dorm with 60 other women accused of all kinds of crimes, TMZ has learned.

And Oahu Community Correctional Center warden Nolan Espinda told TMZ that the 27-year-old actress would get "no special treatment" during her five day stay at his facility.

"We will treat her like anybody else," he revealed. "Miss Rodriguez will sleep in a bunk bed, wear the brown two-piece correctional uniform and will get out of bed at 6.30AM with lights-out at 9.30PM.

The former 'Saturday Night Live' star was arrested on Dec. 2 in Hollywood. We're told cops claim he was speeding, but we've learned Blair Berk, Morgan's formidable defense lawyer, will argue that her client had broken no traffic laws and she can prove it.

TMZ asked Berk if she believes her client is the victim of racial profiling. Her response, "I don't discuss pending court cases."

"I'm sorry," Watros told the court after entering her plea.

District Judge James Dannenberg also ordered Watros to submit to 14 hours of counseling. "This is no fun, but you know how much worse it could have been. Get on with your life, and I wish you luck," the judge told Watros.

The night she was busted, Watros' blood alcohol level was just over .10. The legal limit in Hawaii is .08.

Following her court appearance, the star spoke to reporters. "I'm extremely grateful to the people of Hawaii for their love and support," she said. "Thank you."

Officers pulled Rodriguez over early on Dec. 1 after spotting her black Mercedes allegedly weaving down Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound lanes from Kailua.

Another "Lost" star, Cynthia Watros, was arrested 15 minutes later on the same road when police saw her car also moving erratically.

Both allegedly failed sobriety tests. Rodriguez had a blood alcohol level of 0.145, nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08, according to documents obtained by KITV-TV.

KITV quoted court and police documents that said Rodriguez was "very argumentative" and kept interrupting the officer who was explaining drunk driving sanctions to her.

"I don't (expletive) belong here! Why don't you just put a gun to my head and shoot me! You've already taken my freedom! You might as well take my life too!" she said, KITV reported Friday.

The officer who took Rodriguez in a police car to the Kailua substation quoted her as saying "Just take my car and I'll walk all the way to the North Shore but don't leave me in the back of this car poppie."

Rodriguez' lawyer declined comment.
