"Saturday Night Live" star Darrell Hammond isn't laughing about Thursday's presidential debate ... and is instead issuing a very stern warning regarding the country's future.

Darrell famously used to impersonate Donald Trump, Al Gore and Bill Clinton on 'SNL' ... but he told us he saw nothing funny about Thursday night's presidential face-off, calling the whole event sad and potentially dangerous.

This might sound odd coming from Darrell, who lampooned Trump for years, but he says fans should avoid mocking Trump's mannerisms ... because it makes him seem less dangerous.

These days, he thinks voters should take very seriously Trump's prior comments about wanting to become a dictator.

6:04 PM PT -- We obtained additional footage of the incident between Megan Thee Stallion's security and reality star Jonathan Wright ... it appears JW got a lick off to her security guard's face before the bruhaha was broken up.

It's still unclear what exactly caused the physical exchange but like we reported earlier, everything appears to have straightened itself out ... after throwing a couple back at the bar!!!

Megan Thee Stallion found herself playing referee at her own L.A. soiree, because apparently, her security didn't get the memo that Jonathan Wright is gang-gang!!!

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says if Joe Biden withdraws from the presidential race and another Democrat steps in, he's prepared to make the same offer he gave Biden ... if that candidate has a better chance of beating Trump, he'll withdraw from the race.

Kennedy appeared Friday on "TMZ Live" and restated his challenge ... if someone like Governor Gavin Newsom, Senator Raphael Warnock, Governor Gretchen Whitmer or Governor Wes Moore snag the nom, he wants an independent poll taken in October. Whoever polls better against Trump will cross the finish line, and the other will withdraw.

Biden never responded to RFK's offer ... which he said wasn't surprising. A different candidate might, however, take him up on the offer to create unity.

TikToker Eva Evans' official cause of death is suicide ... TMZ has confirmed.

A NYC medical examiner rep tells TMZ ... Eva died after hanging herself in her NYC apartment Saturday.

As we reported, law enforcement sources found Eva hanging inside her place after obtaining a key from a friend who last saw her the previous morning. When paramedics arrived, they pronounced her dead at the scene.

According to new legal docs, filed Thursday and obtained by TMZ, Gutierrez-Reed claims the prosecutors were sitting on exculpatory evidence during her recent manslaughter trial, which resulted in a conviction, and an 18-month prison sentence for her.

In the docs, Hannah's attorney, Jason Bowles, claims prosecutors buried a report showing the gun had “unexplained” alterations to the trigger that were unlikely the result of the FBI's trigger testing, and did not appear to be original manufacturing marks.

We talked to several bars around Washington, D.C. and Atlanta -- where the debate's being held -- and much like a big sporting event, the debate will be shown on multiple screens ... even taking priority over actual sports.

Some of the bars have specials, like a $10 old-fashioned -- likely a crack at the candidates' advanced ages. Other pubs have signature cocktails and dishes for the night-- and, one D.C. pub's taking it to the next level by setting up a drinking game for patrons.

Zedd says a woman he's never met is impersonating him and showing up at his home demanding to speak with him ... and now he's running to a judge for help.

The DJ beelined it to court Thursday and filed for a temporary restraining order against a woman named Rezwan Senobarian, who he claims is harassing him and his staff.
