Jeff Sperbeck, John Elway's longtime business partner, is in the hospital on life support ... following a horrific golf course accident over the weekend, TMZ Sports has learned.

We're told Sperbeck was at The Madison Club in La Quinta, CA on Saturday afternoon, riding on the back of a golf cart, when something went terribly wrong ... and Jeff somehow fell off the moving vehicle, landing on the ground, and hitting his head.

Jeff's wife and at least one other person noticed Sperbeck was down and quickly turned around to check on him. It was immediately clear the longtime sports agent was in bad shape, and someone called for help.

Damian Lillard's 2024-25 NBA season has come to a brutal end ... as the Milwaukee Bucks superstar will miss the rest of his team's playoff run after suffering a torn left Achilles.

The news broke Monday morning ... with ESPN saying an MRI revealed the extent of the ailment following the team's 129-103 loss to the Indiana Pacers in Game 4 of their first-round matchup.

The injury occurred during the first quarter of the contest when Dame went to grab a rebound. After falling to the ground, he reached for the back of his ankle before getting up and being helped to the locker room.

Pastor T.D. Jakes suffering a heart attack during a November sermon was one of the dominoes that led to him taking on a reduced role at his megachurch.

Reps for Jakes tell TMZ ... the heart attack, emergency surgery and ensuing recovery are some of the reasons he's taking a step back from his role as pastor of The Potter's House of Dallas.

We're told Jakes spent a lot of time recovering from the heart issue, and it's affecting him to some degree.

Rapper Yung L.A. of "Ain't I" fame passed out while performing over the weekend -- and the only thing more scary was the fall he took afterward!!!

The weathered Atlanta rapper was live at the Elite Lounge in Greenwood, SC and appeared to be bursting with energy as the opening chords of his hit song "Futuristic Love" began to blare through the club. Yung L.A. then tried to pass the microphone to a woman standing onstage ... but he quickly nosedived to the floor, landing flat on his face.

Two men attempted to hold Yung L.A. before his body went limp and he sank to the floor. It didn't appear to be too serious ... both guys were cracking up laughing!!!

Gene Hackman Final Autopsy Released ... Notes Heart Problems, Signs of Fasting

Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa's causes of death have been released ... and, it appears he went a while without eating before he passed.

The Office of the Medical Investigator in New Mexico has released final autopsy findings ... showing Hackman had a "history of congestive heart failure" and "severe chronic hypertensive changes" to his kidneys, according to Fox News Digital.

While the autopsy, also noted "neurodegenerative features consistent with Alzheimer's Disease," Hackman tested negative for Hantavirus ... the disease that killed his wife, Betsy.

Pastor T.D. Jakes is stepping back from his duties in his megachurch ... announcing his successors months after a medical incident onstage ended with him on the operating table.

The pastor -- who served as the head of The Potter's House church since he founded it back in 1996 -- told the church Sunday that he would be handing over his duties to Sarah Jakes Roberts and Toure Roberts, his daughter and her husband.

Jakes released a long statement about his departure ... citing the need to address major economic issues of the time as part of the impetus for his decision -- claiming he wants to focus on "serving as a bridge between community, culture, and corporate alliances to help position our nation for a stronger future."

Tony Mojanovski, a groom from "Married at First Sight Australia," was rushed to the hospital after suffering a heart attack.

The reality TV star underwent emergency surgery after being rushed to a New South Wales hospital this week after experiencing severe chest pains.

The 53-year-old had multiple tests performed on him, including a coronary artery bypass graft, which treated the blockage and ultimately saved his life.

The serious car crash that sent 5-star hooper Alijah Arenas to the hospital with serious injuries was likely caused by excess speed, law enforcement sources tell TMZ Sports.

The Los Angeles Police Department was on the scene of the 5 AM crash, which occurred along a two-lane residential roadway in the Winnetka neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley, in a 40 MPH zone.

18-year-old Alijah was alone in the Cybertruck -- owned by his father, ex-NBA star Gilbert Arenas -- at the time of the accident ... which was a single-vehicle wreck.

Luigi Mangione Pleads Not Guilty to Federal Murder Charge

Luigi Mangione has just pled not guilty to four federal charges -- including a count of murder through the use of a firearm.

The alleged UnitedHealthcare CEO killer appeared in a New York City federal court Friday for his arraignment, where he pled not guilty to one count of murder through the use of a firearm, two counts of stalking, and one firearms offense for allegedly using a silencer.

The judge ordered all discovery to be turned over to the defense within 30 days ... making the deadline for that May 27.
