Savannah Guthrie got emotional on "TODAY" as she once again begged for someone with information about the whereabouts of her mother, Nancy, to come forward.

Check out the heartbreaking clip from Tuesday morning -- Savannah says she and her family are living in "agony" and "cannot be at peace" until she is found ... as tears roll down her cheeks.

She once again pleads for anyone with information to come forward, stating ... "No matter how small -- the reward is there -- you can tell us ... please do the right thing, for us, for our family, for our children."

The Nancy Guthrie ransom note TMZ received was the real deal, according to the FBI, but contrary to new reports, it did not contain an apology or a revelation she was dead.

There is something else ... TMZ received close to a dozen emails from a man claiming he knew both the identity of the kidnappers and the location of Nancy. The initial email he sent -- just days after the kidnapping -- said he would provide information in return for a single bitcoin, but "time is of the essence." He made it clear -- he was not a kidnapper.

The next day, he sent another email saying "time is no longer of the essence." Translation -- Nancy was no longer alive. The man continued to send emails, saying the kidnappers took Nancy to Mexico. He said he needed the money because he would have to go underground for fear of retribution. He was also concerned authorities might try to implicate him in the kidnapping.

Savannah Guthrie's shining light on her husband, Mike Feldman, this Father's Day ... calling him a "hero" in her family.

The veteran newscaster shared a photo of Mike hugging their two children -- Vale and Charley -- in a bed. The kids are both smiling, and Mike has a loving look on his face as he stares into the camera.

She captioned the snuggly snap, "our hero ❤️. happy fathers day."

A woman wanted in connection with a violent kidnapping investigation near the home of Savannah Guthrie's missing mom, Nancy Guthrie, has been arrested in Arizona.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department says 40-year-old Coral Michelle Smith was taken into custody Monday on an active arrest warrant tied to a May aggravated assault and kidnapping case.

According to authorities, Smith allegedly assaulted a woman who later died from her injuries. Detectives say the investigation remains ongoing.

The Mexican search group that followed up on an anonymous tip in the Nancy Guthrie case isn't giving up just yet ... 'cause they're heading back out tomorrow into the field in hopes of finally finding answers.

Buscando Corazones Nogales tells TMZ ... a tip led them to a remote search area last week, but despite spending days combing through the terrain, they confirmed again they came up empty-handed when it came to locating Nancy's remains.

That said, the group isn't discouraged. Members tell us they'll resume the search tomorrow, focusing on two new locations within the same general area -- which they describe as vast and difficult to cover.

An anonymous tip claiming Nancy Guthrie's remains were buried in Mexico led to a massive search, but there's still no sign of her ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... it's unclear who in Buscando Corazones Nogales -- a volunteer group that searches for missing people -- received the original anonymous tip that Nancy's remains were in a shallow grave in Mexico.

FBI agents were not dispatched because they have no jurisdiction in Mexico ... but Buscando Corazones Nogales searched. They have not found Nancy's remains.

The Nancy Guthrie case is heating up ... a search party is combing through an area in Mexico for Savannah Guthrie's mom after getting an anonymous tip ... and now we've got photos from the search.

Here's the deal ... a bunch of volunteers are turning over every stone on the Mexico-Arizona border after they received a tip claiming Nancy's body was buried there.   

The Mexican volunteer group was snapped checking out gravesites in the city of Nogales, Sonora, where they had previously discovered over 25 unmarked graves. The tipster reportedly told the group Nancy's remains are buried among the graves.

Nancy Guthrie's search efforts reignited after a group that looks for missing people received an anonymous tip claiming her remains were buried in an unmarked grave in Mexico.

Buscando Corazones Nogales -- a Mexican volunteer group that searches for missing people -- says they got the chilling tip Wednesday ... and they scrambled folks to a remote area near the U.S-Mexico border to try and locate her.

Nancy was abducted in February from her home in Tucson, Arizona ... about 70 miles from the border.

A woman is wanted by police in Arizona in connection with an alleged kidnapping, just miles from where Nancy Guthrie lived ... and only months after Nancy vanished from her Tucson home in the middle of the night.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department shared a wanted poster for a 40-year-old woman named Coral Michelle Smith Thursday ... saying she's connected to a May 29 kidnapping and aggravated assault case. The crime reportedly occurred about 7 miles from Nancy's residence in the Catalina Foothills.

According to court records, Smith has an extensive criminal history -- she was sentenced to prison after being found guilty of robbery in 2020 in a case that also involved kidnapping and drug charges, which were ultimately dropped.

Her rap sheet dates back to 2011, when she was found guilty of robbery. She has also been found guilty of criminal trespass, attempted vehicle theft, and disorderly conduct over the years ... per court records.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos is cracking down on alleged unlawful behavior near Nancy Guthrie's upscale Arizona home ... and his department just arrested 3 streamers for allegedly causing problems in the area, including one who was caught urinating in public.

Alexander Zabel, who runs the true crime account "Criminal Network," was arrested and charged with 2 counts of obstructing a highway or thoroughfare and one count of public nuisance ... the sheriff's department tells TMZ.

Troy Bradshaw, who heads the "DAA JUICE" YouTube channel, was arrested and charged with public nuisance. He was livestreaming when authorities let him know he was being taken into custody. He and Zabel were booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex.

Savannah Guthrie is still grappling with the disappearance of her mom, Nancy ... and she got emotional revealing the advice she believes her mom would be giving her right now.

The "Today" show co-host fought back tears during a conversation with Jenna Bush Hager, opening up about the difficult reality of carrying on with work while still wondering what happened to her mom.

Savannah admitted it hasn't been easy balancing her emotions with the demands of live TV, saying there are times she feels like she has to hold everything together in order to do her job.

Savannah Guthrie is speaking out again about the kidnapping of her mom, Nancy Guthrie, as police and FBI agents continue their desperate search for her after 4 grueling months.

The "Today" show co-host posted a snapshot of a painting of Jesus Christ's ascension on her Instagram stories, tying it to Nancy's February 1 abduction from her home in Tucson, Arizona.

Savannah wrote, "Oh my, my soul, it cries out, soul, it cries out, bring her home." That last part is a clear reference to Nancy, who is 84 and in poor health.

Savannah Guthrie's turning her Wordle addiction into a full-on TV gig ... because the "TODAY" co-anchor is officially set to host a new "Wordle" game show executive produced by Jimmy Fallon.

The big reveal went down Monday on "Today" when Fallon popped up to announce the long-secret project ... saying he and The New York Times have been developing the hit puzzle game for TV for more than two years.

Fallon said finding the right host was easy ... joking they needed someone who "looks like they play Wordle" and knows how to run a show ... before crowning Savannah the perfect fit after filming the pilot.

This Mother's Day is a tough one for Savannah Guthrie ... she's spending it pleading for the return of her mother, Nancy.

She went on Instagram Sunday to share a touching tribute to her missing mom, posting a montage of cute clips but captioning it with a call for help.

Savannah wrote an emotional message to Nancy in the caption, saying ... "mother, daughter, sister, Nonie -- we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you."

It's the first Mother's Day since Savannah Guthrie's mom, Nancy, was kidnapped ... and her family is surrounding her with support.

Her husband, Michael Feldman, took to Instagram to share a photo of the "Today" show host holding their kids tight in an emotional embrace.

He wrote in the caption ... "To the strongest person I know. Surrounding you with love on Mother’s Day."

The local sheriff's office tasked with investigating the Nancy Guthrie abduction is firing back at Kash Patel after the FBI director ripped them for their handling of the case.

Patel went on the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast and claimed Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos benched the FBI for the first four days of the investigation. Patel also took issue with Nanos sending critical evidence to a lab in Florida instead of the FBI lab in Quantico.

In response, the Pima County Sheriff’s Office tells TMZ … "Sheriff Nanos responded to the scene the night of the incident, providing immediate local leadership and oversight. A member of the FBI Task Force was also notified and present at that scene, working alongside our personnel. The FBI was promptly notified by both our department and the Guthrie family. While the FBI Director was not on scene, coordination with the Bureau began without delay."
