The man accused of trying to kill President Donald Trump just got something unexpected in court -- an apology.

Yeah, you read that right … a federal judge is sticking up for the alleged would-be assassin and blasting jail officials over how he's been treated behind bars.

Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui didn't hold back Monday ... telling the court he was "disturbed" by the conditions faced by Cole Allen -- the 31-year-old accused of trying to infiltrate the White House Correspondents' Dinner to take out Trump and other top officials.

Jimmy Kimmel is either psychic or has the unluckiest timing in comedic history ... last Tuesday, he made a joke about Rudy Giuliani rising from "the grave" -- just days before we learned the former NYC mayor was hospitalized.

In his monologue, Jimmy quipped about Giuliani coming back from the dead, saying ... "So last night, America’s mayor, Rudy Giuliani, rose from the grave to weigh in on the ongoing drama involving me."

This came up because he was ironically referencing another coincidental crack he'd made ... about Melania Trump looking like "an expectant widow" ... two days before the alleged assassination attempt at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on the night of April 25.

Rudy Giuliani has been rushed to the hospital in critical condition ... his spokesperson announced in a statement Sunday.

Ted Goodman announced the news on X ... noting the former New York City mayor is in critical, but stable, condition in a Florida medical center.

Giuliani is a fighter, Goodman says, who has faced all of life's challenges -- including this one -- with strength.

Rick Fox is offering an apology ... to absolutely nobody!

The former basketball star -- who is running for political office down in The Bahamas -- spoke at a political rally on Sunday ... and, he seemed to be offering a mea culpa for his role in a physical altercation earlier this week.

He starts out by apologizing to his family ... in case they're only meeting the enforcer -- a role Fox often played on the basketball court -- for the first time.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio truly is the "Secretary of Everything" -- he was spotted blasting tunes from the DJ booth at a family wedding Saturday!

Check out the fun clip -- he's got headphones to his ears and is looking enthralled by the DJ setup. He's playing "Shiver" by John Summit & HAYLA and at one point gives who appears to be the hired DJ a notice to speed up the track.

The wedding attendees are totally into it as they link arms and dance in a coordinated circle together. It's unclear whose wedding it was ... but White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino seemed to also be in attendance because he posted the video on X and hyped Rubio up.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and FBI Director Kash Patel came under some heavy fire on "Saturday Night Live" over their alleged drinking habits -- and the jokes were so scathing, the two must be waking up with splitting headaches!

'SNL' regular Colin Jost kicked things off playing Hegseth in the opening sketch, walking out to a podium for a press conference with an oversized glass of Scotch on the rocks gripped in his hand.

Jost mockingly tells reporters, "I said I only had one," and then hands the glass to castmate Ashley Padilla, who played pregnant White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. As Jost passed the glass, he said, "Here you go, for the baby."

Cole Allen -- the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting suspect -- has asked a judge to remove the suicide precautions currently in place ... claiming they're a violation of his rights.

Allen's lawyers say that while he was being booked into the D.C. Jail on Monday, members of the Department of Correction intake team didn't note any suicide risk factors.

Despite this, Allen's team claims "suicide precautions" were recommended ... and he was assigned to a "safe cell."

Audrina Patridge is backing Spencer Pratt's mayoral run ... saying she knows he'll deliver on his promises.

We caught up with "The Hills" star at the Calamigos Ranch Resort & Spa for the Leading Hotels of the World Accreditation event Friday night ... and, we asked her about her former costar's run for L.A. mayor.

The L.A. County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ ... detectives served a search warrant in Vernon, California -- about five miles from Downtown Los Angeles -- where they found a stolen cargo shipment which included Carlson's nicotine pouches.

The shipment -- which Carlson's company, ALP, previously said is worth millions -- was recovered along with televisions, shoes, printers, data center cooling equipment, speakers and skin care cosmetics. In total, eight companies were robbed in the brazen theft including Footlocker, Medicube, and Ulta Beauty.

Donald Trump says he made the "gay national anthem" popular again ... implying his dance moves gave "Y.M.C.A" its groove back.

POTUS appeared at an event in The Villages -- a retirement community in Florida -- on Friday ... when he brought up the famous song by The Village People.

Trump points out the song rose to new heights in 2024 during his presidential campaign ... with Billboard announcing back then that the track -- originally released in 1978 -- spent a fifth week at No. 1 on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales, the most for any group in 2024.

Oklahoma Senate candidate Barry Christian has been found dead in his vehicle 2 days after he was reported missing.

The politician was located in his car at the Sandy Sanders Wildlife Management Area in Beckham County on Thursday at approximately 9:45 AM local time, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) announced.

He was last seen in Sayre, Oklahoma on April 28, and the Sayre Police Department (SPD) received a report he was missing on April 29. He was inside his 2024 gray Ram pickup truck when he was found, local outlet KOCO reported.

The Barack Obama Foundation just got dragged to court by a former employee who claims she asked for mental health help ... but got shown the door instead.

According to a new federal lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, a woman named Tifphany McClinton says she worked as a curatorial assistant from mid-2023 until she was fired in December 2025 -- and alleges the nonprofit failed her at nearly every turn.

McClinton claims she suffers from anxiety, PTSD, depression and scoliosis -- conditions she says required accommodations like physical therapy during work hours and a modified schedule that allowed her to leave the office by 3 PM.

But instead of support, she says she got resistance ... and worse.
