Vanderpump Rules alum Jax Taylor berated his ex Brittany Cartwright during a 2022 argument where he repeatedly dropped the R-word slur, TMZ has learned. 

TMZ obtained a transcript of an August 28, 2022, video recording submitted by Brittany in court as she tries to get a permanent restraining order against Jax. 

The two are fighting in their home when Jax tells his kid, “I’m sorry, buddy.” He then tells Brittany she is a, “F***ing r*****.” 

Taylor Frankie Paul's season of "The Bachelorette" may permanently be on ice ... especially now because she's throwing caution to the wind and spoiling the show's ending!

The shocking news about her time on the show came out during an appearance on Amanda Hirsch's "Get Real" podcast, which also featured Tyler Cameron and Connor Wood ... when they shared a clip from "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" in which she reveals that she accepted a proposal.

She says she didn't realize this dude's initials matched her ex Dakota Mortensen's ... or that he was from Utah -- somehow those things didn't come up before agreeing to spend the rest of their lives together.

Before this cute kid posing in his snazzy 'fit turned into a famous late night talk show host, he was just a city kid on a city stoop!

He was inspired by David Letterman, and co-hosted Comedy Central's "The Man Show." He played himself on "Entourage."

Disney star Carla Jeffery -- known for her role as Bree in "Z-O-M-B-I-E-S" -- has passed away.

Her talent agency, Alexanders Talent Management, announced the sad news on Instagram, writing ... "It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Carla Jeffery."

According to the agency, the actress died Tuesday. No cause of death has been disclosed at this time.

ATM continued ... "For more than 20 years, we had the privilege of watching her grow into a beautiful, vibrant, and incredibly talented woman whose radiant smile could light up any room."

Christy Knowings' cause of death has been revealed ... the former "All That" star died after suffering cardiac arrest ... TMZ has learned.

According to a death certificate obtained by PEOPLE, the certificate identifies asthma as the underlying cause, with status asthmaticus and acute hypoxic respiratory failure listed as contributing conditions.

We broke the story ... Knowings was hospitalized in August after suffering an asthma attack that caused brain damage. A family member told us she was placed on life support, and her loved ones ultimately made the difficult decision to take her off it several days later.

Jim Thornton is being cut out of the new season of "Wheel of Fortune" amid Sony Pictures Television Studios' investigation into its longtime announcer ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... the first month of the new season, which premieres September 14, has already been taped and is in the can, as they say in Hollywood. We're told producers are now re-editing those episodes with a new announcer ... an effort one source called a "major undertaking."

As we first reported ... Sony suspended Thornton after learning about allegations stemming from a May commercial flight.

Alix Earle hasn't had much to say about her beef with Alex Cooper ... until now, that is.

Alix and her sister, Ashtin, were chatting with Entertainment Tonight at the L.A. premiere of "Earle Meets World" ... telling the outlet she's unbothered -- not unwell -- over the feud.

She told the outlet ... "I'm happier just to, like, focus on the premiere and having the show out there."

Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun made a smooth smoothie run with his kids ... hitting up a local shop in Los Angeles a few days after they touched down in the City of Angels.

The actress and music mogul took two of his three kids to get a sweet treat Tuesday afternoon ... and Sydney looked super comfortable chatting with the little ones when Scooter was busy ordering.

9:45 PM PT -- Jim Thornton's attorney tells TMZ ... the announcer "did not engage in any illegal conduct, was not arrested, and has not been charged with any crime. When questioned about the complaint made by a fellow passenger on the flight, law enforcement spoke to him for five minutes or less, immediately determined that no wrongdoing had occurred and told my client he was free to go."

Jim Thornton appeared on Tuesday night's pre-taped episode, which was a rerun, of "Wheel of Fortune" ... hours after Sony Pictures Television announced an investigation into the longtime announcer.

Ryan Seacrest tossed to Jim, asking him what was on the wheel that night ... and Jim gave his usual spiel about the guests and prizes. Worth noting -- "Wheel of Fortune" usually tapes episodes a couple months in advance.

As TMZ first reported, Jim was detained by law enforcement after a flight in May. Cops were called after a passenger on the plane complained about him.

Sony Pictures Television previously told TMZ on Tuesday ... "We have recently been made aware of allegations concerning Jim Thornton."

Rip Wheeler's got beef with the boss ... and this Dutton Ranch feud has apparently come damn close to getting physical.

Cole Hauser and Taylor Sheridan have reportedly been butting heads behind the scenes for years, with the Daily Mail reporting one clash during "Yellowstone" nearly turned into a fistfight.

TMZ obtained messages Jax and Brittany exchanged on July 15, 2026, one day after we broke the story that Jax and his publicist, Lori, were hooking up. Brittany used to be represented by Lori before the news broke. 

Jax wrote, “Your sick brain thought it was okay to have a random guy sleep in the same house with my son ... a guy you had to pay to be your boyfriend non the less.”

Davis Mallory is Instagram official with his new girlfriend ... a year after announcing he was "no longer gay."

"The Challenge" and "The Real World: Denver" alum hard-launched his relationship with Rachel Vaughan over the weekend, sharing vacation snaps of the couple kissing and smiling for a selfie.

Jennifer Aniston's man, Jim Curtis, says the two have an enlightened way of working through their issues ... dropping down for light meditation after dropping hard truths on one another.

The author and hypnotherapist opened up about his couple's trick with the actress ... telling Jamie Kern Lima on her YouTube show that the pair use meditation to recenter themselves after arguments -- to come at their issue from a less emotional place.

Jim says they also talk a lot through their issues ... and, while they don't use it regularly, he says they have used a four-line refrain -- which goes "I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you," -- in the past as well.

Nicki Minaj is continuing to travel aboard the Trump Train ... she's been tapped to be a judge on Trump's 'Apprentice'-style small business competition in DC next month, according to Fox News Digital.

The outlet reports that the New York rapper and full-on MAGA supporter is headed to Washington for the Million-Dollar Pitch Competition on September 18. Actor Dean Cain will be the host of the contest.

The competition -- touted as a cross between "Shark Tank" and "The Apprentice" -- reportedly pits 5 companies against each other as they vie for a $1 million grand prize, but no one goes home as a loser.
