Ryan Reynolds made a surprise appearance at Radio City Music Hall on Friday night to support Hugh Jackman ... while the legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has escalated severely.

RR honored his Marvel costar and best mate at the opening night of Hugh's one-man show "From New York, With Love" ... offering a combination of ball-breaking and deep admiration for his fellow actor.

The few minutes were sweet and moving ... but odds are the war between RR's wife and Baldoni was on audience members' minds -- as that got even uglier this week ... and it looks to get worse.

It's worth noting Ryan has only made a few public appearances since the all-out war broke out ... at events without press ... who'd pepper him to address the situation ... much like this one.

Hollywood is setting up shop in Utah ... because celebs are piling into a small ski town for a famous movie festival.

Sundance kicked off Friday and famous folks like Conan O'Brien and Rose Byrne made some of the first appearances.

"Wicked" star Cynthia Erivo made it to the snow-covered town too ... no word if she rode in on a broom.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son, Pax Jolie-Pitt, keeps playing with fire ... because he crashed his e-bike again ... smashing into a car and causing major damage.

8:40 AM PT -- A source connected to the film tells TMZ ... the film is not imperiled, and there will be re-shoots in March. The source declined to comment on whether the re-shoots have to do with eliminating the scenes involving Jordan Chandler.

One of Michael Jackson's accusers is the reason the highly-anticipated biopic will be delayed 6 months -- specifically, it's the film's reference to Jordan Chandler that has the production in total chaos.

Director Antoine Fuqua had already completed filming of "Michael," when it was announced late last year the scheduled April release date was being pushed to November 2025 -- and that's because they have to rewrite a chunk of the script related to Chandler ... according to Puck.

Basically, someone forgot some key details in Jackson's $23 million settlement with Jordy's family back in 1993. The whole storyline of "Michael" reportedly begins and ends with the then-13-year-old's accusation Jackson molested him ... and the movie aims to convince you Michael was completely innocent.

Benedict Cumberbatch is looking back on a "near-death" experience from over 20 years ago ... when he says he was abducted and robbed while traveling abroad.

The British actor opened up to Variety about the harrowing ordeal, where he claimed he was kidnapped and robbed by 6 men while in South Africa filming BBC's "To the Ends of the Earth" in 2004.

Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are probably feeling "Popular" right about now ... they both just landed Oscar nominations for their work in "Wicked."

The full list of nominees was announced early Thursday morning, with Cynthia nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role, and Ariana scored a spot in the Actress in a Supporting Role category ... where fellow former child star Selena Gomez was notably snubbed for her work in "Emilia Pérez."

Their nominations weren't surprising, given the way "Wicked" dominated the box office at the end of 2024, but it's got to feel good for Cynthia and Ariana ... who put on one hell of a press tour when the musical movie dropped in November.

Sebastian Stan's controversial portrayal of a young Donald Trump has scored the highest honor in Hollywood ... he's now an Oscar nominee.

The actor was just nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his work in "The Apprentice" ... surprising many tuning in for the 2025 Oscar nominations, given the film's icy reception from POTUS himself.

Trump previously slammed the biopic on Truth Social in October for being "fake" and "classless" after an Ivana Trump rape scene sparked controversy.

Jennifer Garner's feeling the loss of her church intensely ... looking totally devastated after seeing the burned husk of her place of worship.

The actress stopped by the Community United Methodist Church of Pacific Palisades -- her regular house of worship -- and appeared overcome by emotion while looking at the burned walls, with one side of the building collapsed in on itself.

No tears from Jenn here ... but, she's obviously upset -- and, the loss of her church, founded in 1922, seems to be weighing heavily on her.

Heather McDonald isn't feeling sorry for either Justin Baldoni or Blake Lively amid their legal war ... blasting the two actors for duking it out in their respective lawsuits.

We caught up with the comedian outside Craig's in West Hollywood on Monday, where she gave her candid opinion on the Hollywood drama. While Heather noted the situation has made for good content for her "Juicy Scoop" podcast, she told us both Justin and Blake are clearly in the wrong.

Watch the video ... she blasted Justin as "kind of a weirdo," and said she totally believed the actor was "creepy and inappropriate" on set ... which Blake claimed in her lawsuit against her "It Ends With Us" costar and director.

The actors took a break from their press tour for their new Bob Dylan biopic to take in a little Serie A soccer Friday in Rome.

Timothée and Edward had great seats to watch AS Roma take Genoa CFC ... and Chalamet was pretty animated, jumping out of his seat and cheering.

We got the "Severance" star in New York City yesterday and our photog asked him about a potential return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Adam says he's open to pretty much anything these days ... so he's not ready to give up on superhero flicks, after appearing in the dud that was "Madame Web."

The couple Robbie Williams "wed" at a screening of his new movie "Better Man" aren't monkeying around, telling the haters to hang around and reconsider ... even if the movie is a total bomb.

Haldun Uluç Ülgen tells TMZ ... he and his fiancée Amy Willoughby couldn’t care less the British singer's biopic tanked at the box office -- they loved it! And he assures us it’s got nothing to do with being "married" by Robbie, who's been an ordained minister since 2002.

Haldun's surprised the movie didn’t leap over the box office competition, but he believes that's because people aren't branching out for something fresh and original -- though he admits RW doesn't have the star power here like he does in the UK.
