Everyone thought Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox were over as a couple -- but the two of them were just hanging out for his 34th birthday ... and MGK posted the evidence.

Kelly threw up a carousel of pics Wednesday on his IG -- which captured a ton of moments from his birthday party earlier this week, which looked like a star-studded soiree featuring the likes of Post Malone, Tiffany Haddish, Evan Ross, Mod Sun, Amber Rose and others.

More importantly though was the fact that his ex-fiancée, Megan, was also in the mix ... and she and MGK looked pretty damn happy, despite the fact things have looked rocky for them.

The actress posted on IG Tuesday -- a day after she hit the big 3-8 Monday -- and it was a simple shot of herself looking gorgeous and sipping on some bubbly. Her caption was telling as well, with AH simply writing ... "Champagne kind of birthday."

It also looks like Amber is in some kind of wine cellar here, 'cause she's surrounded by a ton of bottles on both sides -- which is also interesting considering her history with JD.

Queen Elizabeth II has been memorialized in metal in the UK -- and so have her famous corgis -- a couple of which were added to this new statue of her ... which is pretty spot-on.

The 7-foot bronze statue was unveiled over the weekend ... depicting a young QE2 with a few pooches at her feet, something she was known for while she was alive. As you may know, Liz loved her corgis ... and owned upwards of 30 throughout her lifetime.

That tradition comes through in the artwork here -- which now stands outside a library in Rutland ... the smallest county in England.
