Aaron Carter On His Way to Rehab

9/22/2017 2:26 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Aaron Carter is finally giving in and checking into rehab, TMZ has learned, the day after police rushed to his home to do a welfare check.

TMZ broke the story ... cops in Florida responded when someone reported Aaron seemed high on something during a FaceTime conversation. Aaron's rep tells us, "Aaron has decided to enter a facility to improve his health and work on his overall wellness. He is going to do this privately and focus all his attention on being the best person and performer possible," adding Aaron's grateful for the support and love from his fans.

We're told Aaron went back and forth for a while, but finally agreed to get help.

As we reported, Aaron taped an episode of 'Doctors' last month, but fled the studio at the first mention of him going into rehab. Family members have also been concerned he's relapsing.

As of now he's agreeing to check into a program, but as one source put it ... his decision "changes every hour."

Aaron Carter 911 Call ... Involuntary Commitment Not an Option

9/22/2017 1:47 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Aaron Carter was in his right mind -- relatively speaking -- when authorities rushed to his home Thursday for a welfare check.

TMZ broke the story ... law enforcement rushed to Aaron's home after getting a call from someone who felt he was slurring his speech and not of sound mind. The man who interacted with Aaron was FaceTiming him.

According to dispatch audio, Aaron was evaluated at his Florida apartment and they found no "suspicious activity" when they saw him face-to-face.

They concluded he did not meet the criteria for involuntary commitment, so they left.

Kylie Jenner Pregnant

9/22/2017 1:40 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Kylie Jenner is pregnant and Travis Scott is about to become a dad.

We're told 20-year-old Kylie began telling friends earlier this month at the Day N Night Fest in Anaheim, CA.

Sources also say 25-year-old Travis Scott, Kylie's boyfriend, has also been telling his friends. We're even told -- although we cannot verify -- that he's told friends they're having a girl.

One source says Travis was at a recent event telling people about the pregnancy and how his life was going to change.

If they are punking their friends with repeated pregnancy proclamations, it's super weird ... especially in light of the photo (above) which Kylie herself just posted on Snapchat.

It's also interesting ... Kylie's been posting old pics of herself on Instagram and current shots from the chest up.

Kylie and Travis have been together since April.

If you're wondering what Kylie's ex, Tyga, thinks about the fetus news, he posted this on Snapchat and quickly deleted it. What do ya think -- is he bitter or relieved?

WWE's Charlotte Flair I Knew My Dad Would 'Kick Out' Of Coma

9/22/2017 12:45 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Ric Flair's daughter, Charlotte Flair, tells TMZ Sports she knew her father would "kick out" after a medical emergency left him in a coma ... and says he's doing MUCH better now.

Charlotte says her father has finally been cleared to go home after living in a treatment center since he was released from the hospital -- "We're all happy."

The Nature Boy himself has been opening up about the situation to the media -- essentially saying the medical emergency culminated from years of hardcore drinking

Charlotte tells TMZ Sports her father is "for the most part healthy" now ... and advises future pro athletes to learn from Ric's mistakes.

"Just make smart choices."

Kylie and Kendall Fire Back in Tupac T-Shirt Lawsuit

9/22/2017 12:21 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Kylie and Kendall Jenner have just fired back in the lawsuit where a guy who owns a photo of Tupac is going after the women claiming they ripped him off and plastered the image on the t-shirts they were hawking.

Kylie and Kendall say renowned photog Michael Miller has no right to sue because he himself committed some sort of fraud in copyrighting the photo. They say he's neither the author nor creator of the photos. They don't further explain, but it sounds like they're alleging he misrepresented ownership when he filed with the U.S. Copyright Office.

And there's this ... the women claim he's only entitled at best to "thin copyright protection" because his legal rights to the photo are so minimal it doesn't deserve full protection.

That all said, Kylie and Kendall removed the t-shirt from their online store.

NFL's Aldon Smith Strikes Plea Deal In DUI Hit and Run Case

9/22/2017 11:54 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Oakland Raiders star Aldon Smith has pled no contest to hit and run stemming from a 2015 incident ... TMZ Sports has learned

As we previously reported, Smith was arrested on August 6, 2015 for DUI -- after cops say he smashed into a parked car and then fled the scene. He later returned to the scene of the crash where officers gave him a field sobriety test and arrested him on suspicion of drunk driving.

He initially pled not guilty to misdemeanor DUI and hit and run -- but now, we've learned he cut a deal with prosecutors in which he pled no contest to hit and run and the DUI charge was dropped.

He was sentenced to 20 days in jail -- but the judge is allowed him to do residential treatment in lieu of spending time behind bars. Residential treatment is essentially "rehab" at a facility. He was also ordered to complete anger management.

Smith is also forbidden from driving with ANY amount of alcohol in his system. He's also not allowed to go to bars or pubs or anywhere alcohol is the primary commodity for sale.

During the case, the judge also found he violated probation from another case and was sentenced to 90 days in jail -- but again, he was allowed to do residential treatment instead.

The Santa Clara District Attorney's Office tells TMZ Sports all of Smith's required residential treatment sentence has been completed.

9/22/2017 11:27 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Allen Iverson's nationwide casino gambling tour continues ... this time, hitting up a high stakes roulette table in Pennsylvania and TMZ Sports has the footage.

The Answer has been spotted at several casinos across the country this year ... from Chicago to Vegas ... and most recently, testing his luck at the Mohegan Sun Pocono Resort Wednesday night.

Witnesses say A.I. had a private table with his friends and was placing BIG bets.

There were reports Iverson's dealt with gambling troubles in the past ... but he's adamantly denied having a problem.

Amelia & Delilah Hamlin We Don't Compete With Gigi & Bella We're On The Same Level!

9/22/2017 11:03 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Sisters Amelia and Delilah Hamlin -- their parents are Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna -- have things in common with Bella and Gigi Hadid that go beyond their blonde and brunette hair, but the gals say there's absolutely no competition.

The sisters have been getting compared a lot ... both their moms are 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' stars and they model. In fact when we got the Hamlins -- Amelia, 16, the brunette, and Delilah, 19, the blonde -- at LAX Thursday they were off to Milan for fashion week.

They were super cool when we asked about the comparisons, and while Amelia's hoping to follow Gigi and Bella's footsteps on the runway, Delilah points out she's got aspirations that set her apart from the Hadids.

J.R. Smith On LeBron's Future: 'He'll Be Wherever the F**k He Wants'

9/22/2017 9:43 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

J.R. Smith was asked about LeBron James ditching the Cavs ... and went COMPLETELY NUCLEAR -- telling the guy who brought it up to get the "f*ck outta here!"

It all went down outside Poppy in L.A. -- one of the hottest new restaurants in West Hollywood -- when a photog hit a nerve by asking if LeBron was gonna leave Cleveland (again) after this season.

Smith, one of Bron's Cavs BFFs, wasn't havin' it -- ripping the dude (not our guy) to shreds ... before blowing up over a question on The King joining the Lakers, specifically.

Photog: "LeBron's gone man. Deal with it."

J.R.: "LeBron's still here. He's still here."

Photog: "You think LeBron's gonna come to L.A.?

J.R.: "I think LeBron's gonna be wherever the f**k he wanna be at!"

The best part of the video is when J.R. fashion shames the photog for wearing a striped hoodie. It's legitimately funny stuff.

Beyonce C'mon, 'Formation' Only Used a Little of Your Voice

9/22/2017 9:32 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Beyonce seems to believe it's okay that her hit, "Formation," used a sample of a dead New Orleans rapper ... because she only used a tiny bit of his voice.

Beyonce just filed a response to the lawsuit from the estate of Anthony Barre -- and in the docs, her lawyers say the use of Anthony's voice is "reasonable and justified." You'll recall, Bey's hit track includes Anthony's voice saying "I like that," but his estate says it never signed off on the use ... and wants $20 mil in back royalties.

She's not giving up the dough that easily. According to the docs, Beyonce's team says Barre's estate has no case because the use of his voice was so minimal it doesn't require compensation. For the record, it's about 6 seconds long.

They also invoke the First Amendment as justification for using Anthony -- aka Messy Mya -- but that seems like a stretch, and makes us think Team Bey is just throwing everything but the kitchen sink at this lawsuit.

To be continued ...

Dr. Omalu: CTE Drove Hernandez to Suicide ... No Question

9/22/2017 8:24 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Dr. Bennet Omalu -- the man who discovered CTE -- tells TMZ Sports, "There is no question in my mind that CTE drove Aaron Hernandez to suicide and other criminal and violent behavior."

FYI, Dr. Omalu is the real-life doctor who inspired the Will Smith movie, "Concussion."

We reached out to Omalu after Hernandez's fiancee filed her lawsuit against the NFL and the New England Patriots -- claiming the league failed to share information connecting CTE and suicidal tendencies.

Omalu believes she absolutely has a case -- and hopes Aaron's story will inspire parents to pull their kids out of contact sports.

"If you read my book 'Truth Doesn’t Have a Side' you will encounter the Chapter titled 'I bet my license OJ Simpson Has CTE,' therefore, it should not be surprising that Aaron Hernandez eventually committed suicide."

"I am yet to examine the brain of professional football player who does not have CTE or other forms of brain damage. And we have always known for centuries that if you suffer forceful and/or repetitive blows to your head in whatever human activity, you will suffer brain damage."

"If a child plays football, there is a 100% risk exposure to brain damage. No child under the age of 18 in today’s America should be playing any of the high-impact, high-contact sports, and the big six are football, ice hockey, mixed martial arts, rugby, boxing and wrestling."

"Let us keep our children healthy and make them play only non-contact sports."

Chad Ochocinco: New ZO2's Are 'F**king Dope' ... Excited To Get Mine!

9/22/2017 7:36 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

LaVar Ball is getting serious props from Chad Ochocinco -- who says the remixed $495-per-pair ZO2 shoes are "f*cking dope," and he can't wait to get his.

LaVar officially 86'd the original design for Lonzo Ball's signature Big Baller Brand shoe -- saying the design team went "back to the lab" and came up with a better design.

People who ordered the original shoe will NOT get the old shoe when the merchandise finally ships -- they'll get the new one. LaVar says he'll work something out with people who don't want the new shoe.

The new shoe is a completely different look -- it's lighter and more sporty than the original ... but some people are upset they're not getting what they were originally promised.

Not Chad ... who tells TMZ Sports, "[The new ZO2's] are f*cking dope. The new design is FIRE! I was happy with the first design but the 2nd is what I'd consider 'caught up with the times.'"
