Lamar Odom I'm Here to Help People ... With My Weed

4/21/2018 1:40 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Lamar Odom's new lease on life since coming out of a coma has made him want to improve other people's lives too ... enter his cannabis company.

We got the former NBA Champion at Five Star Juice in Torrance, CA Friday and talked to him about the release of his brand of marijuana products, called Rich Soil, which he believes can help people with their ailments ... like it's helped him.

Odom says his goal to get people "healthy high," saying ... "I want to get people better, bro. If I can get 'em high, I can get 'em better."

He tells us he's been working on the cannabis idea for a year, and doesn't give a damn about haters who think he shouldn't be in this business ... because he believes he's living proof the stuff works.

Lamar also touches on making a basketball comeback, which he told us about a couple days ago too.

Unclear how snacking on Starburst fits into his plan.

Kandi Burruss Who Cares Kim's Done with 'RHOA' ... She Hasn't Held a Peach in Years!!!

4/21/2018 8:32 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Kandi Burruss doesn't think it's a big deal Kim Zolciak's done with "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" ... because she says her presence was hardly felt anyway.

We got Kandi at LAX Friday night and asked her about Kim telling us she's leaving 'RHOA' for good because it's too stressful. Kandi agrees it's demanding, but for a non-peach holder like Kim ... she's not offering any sympathy.

Kandi also tells us Kim wasn't getting along with any of the Housewives -- except maybe one -- so the ladies are fine with her farewell and more than ready to move on.

As for Kim and Kandi's Bravo spin-off ratings beef -- Burruss sets the record straight ... about how she was simply setting the record straight.

4/21/2018 1:00 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

11:25 AM PT -- Oman police say Avicii's body will be flown home to Sweden this week. Still no word on the cause of his death.

One of Avicii's family members is on the ground in Oman leading the charge to find out what killed the world famous DJ ... TMZ has learned.

Sources in Oman tell us Avicii's older brother, David Bergling, checked into an upscale hotel in the capital city of Muscat on Friday evening ... hours after Avicii was found dead. We're told the hotel where he's staying is about 15 minutes away from Muscat Hills -- the resort where Avicii had been vacationing.

As we showed you, the EDM superstar posed for several photos with fans at the resort, and witnesses say he appeared to be in good spirits during his time there.

According to reports in Avicii's native Sweden, he had checked out of Muscat Hills sometime last week. One of the things David is likely looking into is exactly where his brother and a small group of friends went in the days leading up to his death.

Avicii comes from a very famous family in Sweden. His mother, Anki Liden, and another brother are both actors. David is a hotelier in Sweden.

Ariane Grande stunned the Coachella crowd on the first night of weekend #2 by taking the stage during Kygo's set ... and debuting her brand new single.

Grande's live performance Friday night of "No Tears Left to Cry" came just hours after she released the single ... her first new track since last year's Manchester bombing. She also sang Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" with Kygo during her surprise appearance.

It was her second live performance of the year -- she sang at the March for Our Lives rally in March as well.

As we reported ... Kygo dedicated his set to Avicii -- who was found dead at the age of 28 in Oman -- and ended it by playing the world-famous DJ's song, "Without You."

The death of Avicii was weighing heavily on everyone's minds at Coachella at the start of the second weekend, but his memory lived on thanks to dedications from several musicians ... like Kygo.

The Norwegian DJ closed his set on the main stage Friday night with a tribute to the world-famous DJ, saying ... "Avicii was my biggest musical inspiration and he was the reason I started making electronic music so I don’t think I would’ve been on this stage tonight if it wasn’t for him. I know he’s inspired millions of other producers out there."

He then played Avicii's 2017 track, "Without You" ... which he said is his favorite.

As we reported ... Avicii was found dead in the Middle Eastern country of Oman. Details surrounding his death are still unclear, but he was smiling with fans days before his death.

He was 28. RIP.

Kanye West Still Smiling On Heels of Big Album News

4/21/2018 7:47 AM PDT

Kanye West is looking quite comfortable these days ... and we're not just talking about his outfit.

The rapper was spotted leaving Nobu in Malibu with some friends Friday night in a t-shirt, sweatpants and a light jacket ... and couldn't look happier about the way things are going lately.

Kanye's been in a great mood for a few days. We saw him smiling leaving his office after giving Charlamagne Tha God a preview of his new album, before announcing he's actually releasing TWO albums in June ... one with Kid Cudi.

Then of course, there was his social media PDA with Kim Kardashian at a party for Kourtney's 39th bday ... something rarely seen from the couple.

Clearly, it's good to be Kanye right now.

Ryan Seacrest 'American Idol' Ratings Woes Can't Bring Me Down

4/21/2018 6:33 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Ryan Seacrest loves "American Idol" -- he makes that perfectly clear -- and he doesn't seem to be sweating the prospect of the show not returning next season ... ratings be damned.

We got the 'Idol' host leaving E Baldi restaurant in Beverly Hills Friday evening and asked if he's concerned at all about the revived singing competition struggling to attract viewers. Doesn't seem like it ... because he knows it's a great show.

Ryan says he hopes 'AI' returns for another season, and it should be noted -- it's still performing well for ABC compared to the same time slot in recent years.

So Seacrest is right to stay positive about things ... especially when gets to snap a pic with a "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" star, too.

Ex-Destiny's Child Singer Bey, I'm Down for a Reunion, Too ... Call Me?

4/21/2018 12:50 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Former Destiny's Child singer Farrah Franklin didn't join Beyonce on stage at Coachella, but she's making it clear -- she's fully on board for the next reunion ... if the queen will have her.

Farrah was a member of DC for about 6 months in 2000 -- she was on the "Say My Name" remix -- and she watched Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams onstage last weekend. Zero bitterness, though ... she says she was thrilled like everyone else.

She says she wasn't invited to be part of the Coachella gig -- and didn't really expect to be -- but she sounds keen on Bey organizing a more complete reunion in the future.

For now, Farrah's happy doing modeling, acting and her own music ... which includes a trap collab with Maino. All that being said, she'd squeeze in some time for her ex-group mates if the phone rings.

Jermell Charlo Vows to Sue Gym Over Alleged Racial Incident

4/21/2018 12:40 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Boxing champ Jermell Charlo is convinced he was banned from working out at a fancy NYC gym because he's black -- and now he's threatening to sue the hell out of them.

TMZ Sports spoke with Charlo who's still VERY pissed over what went down at Life Time Athletic Fitness in Manhattan on Thursday night ... when he and his crew were told they would NOT be allowed inside.

Charlo says they showed up to work out with his brother, boxing star Jermall Charlo -- who was already inside the building -- but the gym staff refused to let the crew purchase a day pass.

Charlo claims his crew was falsely accused of smelling like weed. He believes the real reason they were turned away is because he's "a black man."

Cops were called to the gym but no arrests were made.

Jermell says he doesn't want an apology -- he wants revenge in court -- because he wants the whole world to see what happened to him.

As for the gym, a rep denies Charlo was racially profiled but apologized for the "misunderstanding concerning our guest policy."

Tekashi69 I Gotti, Gotti $22.5k In New Bling

4/21/2018 12:30 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Tekashi69 just keeps throwing his money around and this time he's doing it on several pieces of bling that put a $22,500 hole in his pocket.

The NYC rapper linked with Houston-based jeweler JimmyBoi for a pair of rings and two new grills. One ring is of a spinning 69, while the other is a spinning rainbow made out of colorful enamel. There's about 15 carats of diamonds on both atop 14k gold. Grand total ... $17,500.

We're told the grills are made out of white gold and colorful enamel and cost about $5k.

As for that dent in 6ix9ine's bank account, hardly as bad as the one he might have after Saturday's Broner vs. Vargas fight. This is more like chump change.

Mel B, Stephen Belafonte We're Slashing Prices ... Buy Our House, Please!!!

4/21/2018 12:20 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

There IS one thing Mel B and Stephen Belafonte agree on -- their Hollywood Hills home has gotta go, and the exes are knocking another half mil off the asking price to get it done.

TMZ has learned the house -- a 4-story, 4,631 sq. ft. contemporary beauty with 4 beds and 6 baths -- was taken off the market at the beginning of the year ... but was relisted for sale Thursday at $7,495,000.

Mel and Stephen originally put the pad on the market for $8.995 million just over a year ago, in the heat of their bitter divorce proceedings. A few weeks later they dropped it by a mil, but couldn't find a buyer.

We broke the story ... Belafonte claimed in December Mel B was making it extremely difficult for him to sell the house because she wouldn't let him inside to make repairs and stage it for a sale.

Now they're giving it another shot with the new $500k discount.

FYI ... celeb realtors Josh and Matt Altman of The Altman Brothers at Douglas Elliman are the listing agents, along with Ann Dashiell.
